Start With An Unexpected Affair

Kyler walk to the meeting room with Alex behind him holding a document in his hands and an ipad.

Everyone was already inside waiting for him to arrive for the meeting to start

During the time Kyler had investigated Veronica and find out her lies, he also discover another interesting thing

About the drug used on him and Yasmin, someone else brought the same drug and that person turn out to be Thompson Bays.

Kyler decide to investigate about him more out of curiosity and because of Yasmin

He discover other of his dark secrets and only intended to use them if necessary, like to save Yasmin from him but things played out well.

It took quite a lot of work getting his victims to come out of hiding but his reputation makes it easy and they believe his word to protect them

He has had five girls abused so far and one committed suicide after the act.

All these crimes combined is enough to get him arrested and spending long time in jail

“This is bullshit! You have no proof”

Kyler sneer at him and turn to Alex who gladly bring out the evidence from the documents in his hands and show them how much of a drug addict he is

“I got the supplier arrested and he mentioned your name as his first customer”

“Although it wasn’t easy I find one of the ladies to file a report against you and others follow”

“Oh.. and the cops are here for you” he inform and in five seconds the door open

Kyler stand up and a big smirk appear on his face as he walk to him

“This is my counterattack” he whisper aloud to him.

He went back to his seat as the police read out his crime and put an handcuff on him ready to take him away

“Can you wait a moment? I like Mr. Bays to see the result of the vote?” He requested and the police agree.

“Shall we vote now?” He said turning back to the board and lastly at Mr. Giuliana.

“Is there any need to now?” They wondered but decide to anyway

The result count turns out to be eighty five against the dismissal and fifteen for.

“Thank you Mr. Giuliana” Kyler told him to show Thompson Bays that he is on his side and not his anymore.

Thompson grunts angrily but the handcuff in his hands stop him from doing anything and Kyler maintain his smirk as the cops whisk him away.

Yasmin manage to stay conscious after few minutes and breathed out slowly finding it hard

She look terrified seeing the knife in her body and try to make a yell for help but could only make a whisper

Not wanting to give up she try moving to the phone on the bed and failed

Last option was to find a way to get outside and get help but she could not move a muscle anymore and her eyes start to feel weak too difficult for her to open them.

Before she loses consciousness, she heard someone rush in and start to yell out at her

She open her eyes very briefly to see it’s the security guards trying to call her and fall completely conscious seeing she might be save.

“I also want people to see how bad a person he was to abandon his children, it’s also a repay for what my mum has gone through”

Talia breathed pausing for a moment as he just stares and allow her talk on

“I’m sorry President Black, I just want to…”

“Thank you” he breathed out.

Talia’s eyes widen in surprise at his action, she thought she would be scold or get fired for taking rash decision.

She nod her head happily and look down for few seconds before looking up again

“Can you forgive him too?”

“Huh?”

“He was just angry like I was too and wanted revenge for the suffering and sadness”

“Actually… I also came for revenge but I find out the one I came to destroy is dead, so I turn to you…”

“But then I find out you’re not like him so I decided to give up but then again, I found about you and Yasmin…”

“My thoughts about you changed and I thought you will become like him, so… I helped him a bit…”

“Oh! That’s a twist” Alex mouthed and Kyler shoot him a stern glare.

“I’m sorry” she apologize and walk to Alex to give him her resignation letter and rush out before he could say anything.

“You still didn’t tell her it was the other woman not her mum?” Alex asked tearing up the letter

“And why did you tear off the paper?”

“I assume you are not going to accept it”

“Why not? She betrayed my company and hand that over herself”

“You do realize she can come back to ask for shares right? This is the least you could do to appreciate”

“That’s not your decision to make but mine” he said but get ignore.

“It’s past eleven, do you want me to drive you home?” He asked instead

“So you’re back with Drex” Kyler ask standing up

“Yeah thanks to someone going over to plead” he teased and walk out.

Kyler chuckle and walk out after him taking his phone to call Yasmin but see lot of missed calls.

Veronica try to get into the house without getting caught by anyone and clean off her hands immediately she got into her room

She pick up her phone to delete the texts and phone call history between her and Mrs. Lander.

Her body trembles in fear as she walk to the bed and the scene of her crime plays on her head

She is not sure whether she has done the right thing killing her after all

What if she survives and report her to the police?

Then she shouldn’t have showed her face or be careful not to get caught before stabbing her

Many thoughts and assumption run wild in her head and she feel like she’s losing her mind

Still trembling Veronica lie under the cloth and try to get warm and perhaps get her heart warm up too.

She finally manage to fall asleep after a long tossing but a loud disturbing sound wake her up again

Veronica force her body to get down from the bed and run downstairs to see her Mum crawled to a side and her Dad standing like some giant over her

“What are you doing Dad?” She yelled to stop his raised hand from going down on her mother

Veronica go to hug her mother who is crying helplessly and turn to glare at him

“Have you lost your mind Dad? You hit her too?” She asked shock to find out

She thought he is just a scumbag who cheats on his wife but he also beats her

“Is that why you tell on me to your son-in-law?” Mr. Giuliana asked angrily

“What are you talking about?” Veronica questioned.

“You should be sorry for hitting my mother but yet you are yelling at her!” She said angry

“Do you think you are guiltless? How dare you cheat on Kyler Black? You bastard!” He yelled furiously at him

“He has all the evidence of your shameful affairs”

“I don’t think you have the right to call me a bastard” Veronica resort standing up

“I am just like you, isn’t that the same thing you did?” She accuse and got a slap from him

“How dare you!”

Veronica glare at him breathing heavily to avoid doing something crazy, she pull her mother from the floor and take her back to her room before going back to hers.

She has sure made the right decision to kill that woman and get Kyler back

There is no time to feel guilty now but act, she can’t let herself endure this shit any longer.
