Start With An Unexpected Affair

After calling back and finding out what happened to Yasmin, Kyler drive in a blindly rush to the hospital lucky not to get into an accident.

He got to the hospital and ask for her, a nurse lead him to where she was and he stare in dazed shock seeing her lie on the bed

He manage to get his muscles out of the shock and walk closer to her

There is bandage around her chest and she looks unconscious.

“Yasmin?” He called terrified out his wit.

He called her again but got no answer and his panic grow more

Kyler turn to the doctor to find out what is going on

“Thankfully the stab wasn’t so deep and it manage not to touch any vital part*

“She is in shock right now, it might take a little while for her to wake up but I assure you she’s fine”

Kyler give a relief sigh and turn to hold her hands and rub them in his palms to make her feel less cold

He thought of calling Alex to cone over but decide against it, he has just gotten back together with his boyfriend and need a break with each other

He pull the cover over her body and give a peck on her forehead staring at her all night long.

When it was daybreak, She still hasn’t woken up and Kyler worries abd require the doctors to check her again and again

After a long persuasion, he decide to leave to take care of the person who had put her in this way.

According to the security guards, the person who came into the house was the housekeeper and no one else.

Although Kyler is not sure why the lady would harm Yasmin, he got her arrested immediately for assault.

With hope that Yasmin would be awake already, he rush back to the hospital only a meet a scene

In order to keep her safe, Kyler has ordered that no one should be allowed inside her room unless it’s the doctor in charge

And he also place two securities in front of the door and two metres away from it.

“President Black” the guards greeted and stop struggling with the two people

“So this is the man stopping me from seeing my daughter?”

“This is the husband…” The doctor introduced but got shun by Mr. Cassidy who is looking really angry

“He is not my daughter’s husband, I never gave me daughter to anyone” he yelled angrily

Kyler realize the situation and ask the guards to move away so they could go in.

Mr. Cassidy shoot him angry glares before walking in behind his wife who was panicked and anxious instead.

“Why is a man claiming to be your husband? He even kept out from seeing you” he said immediately they got to the room.

Her mum hug her instead crying on her as she embrace her like she might disappear away

“Mum…” She called and she quickly let go

“Ask him to go out” her Dad said not looking at Kyler who is standing two feet behind

Yasmin turn to him and he nod his head already relief to see her awake and walk out.

Immediately he is gone, her Dad jump on her and start to check her body to see if she is really okay

“You scared your mum and I, what on earth is going one?”

“I’m sorry Dad”

“Can you stop scolding her? She’s in pain” her Mum argue

They both keep quiet and stare at her for a while really relief to see she’s okay

When they got the call at midnight about what happened, they were really worried and distress

They could not fly over to the states at that time and waited till early morning to book tickets to get here as soon as they can.

“Who did this to you?” Her mum finally burst out feeling angry at this unknown person.

“Arrested?” Yasmin asked and Alex nod his head

Rather than allow Kyler inside, her parents allowed him instead to tell them about the culprit

Of course he would not hesitate to arrest her even if she is his ex-wife

“What did she say by daughter did to her? Show me that crazy woman first?” Her mum ranted angrilyContentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

“She has refuse to confess and keep saying she’s innocent…”

“Innocent? That despicable woman”

“Yasmin, do you know why the housekeeper lady attacked you?” Alex asked and get a glare from Mrs. Cassidy

“The housekeeper lady?” Yasmin asked confused

“Yes the guard saw her, did you not see her face?” He asked

Yasmin realize there just have been some mix up about the culprit, since the housekeeper was the only that could come into the house she must have been suspected then.

“It’s president Black’s ex-wife”

“Miss. Veronica?” Alex asked surprised and she nodded

“I will leave now” he said and hurry out.

“Who? That handsome man’s wife? The one they claim you broke her home?” Her Dad questioned making her look away from the closed door.

“It’s wife is the one who tried to kill you?”

“You are not going to be with that man and that is final!” He resorted and Yasmin look helpless.

Veronica manage to find out about the housekeeper getting arrested for the assault but also find out that the woman manage to survive.

She thought she stabbed her deep and in a vital point, isn’t the heart at the right side or is it the left?

That would not be her problem now but to find a way to escape the country as soon as possible

It is only a matter of time before Kyler finds out she is the one who stabbed her bd come at her, she can’t go to jail.

Veronica decide leave immediately and call Conrad so they could leave together

If it doesn’t work with Kyler anymore then it would with Conrad even though he’s a scumbag.

Soon she have her bags prepared and take some cash from her Father’s room just in case she needs more money.

Three hours later, Veronica manage to convince Conrad and they both book tickets to an Asia country

As they both sit down waiting for their flight, Veronica feel anxious praying she manage to get out without getting caught.

Conrad sit beside her holding her close with his arms wrap around her body if ignorant of what is going on in her mind.

Their flight is too announced and Veronica jump up in excitement grabbing her bags and ready to leave.

In a blink of her eyes, many men in suit rush in and she quickly hide behind Conrad

“What? What is it?”

“Don’t let them see me” she beg

“Who? Is Kyler after you still? I thought you are already divorced”

Conrad move away and grab her shoulders to force her to stand up straight instead

“Look you have the right to be with whosoever you want now, you are no longer Mrs. Black but Veronica Giuliana… he won’t be able to do anything to you” he said

Veronica slap his hands hard away and try to escape from the airport but Conrad grab her wrist and stop her again

“I will be by your side let him come”

Veronica cuss angrily and try to te him to please let go but it is too late, one of the men see her and inform the others who rush over

It’s then they both notice it’s not only the guards but also cops who are in plain clothes searching for her

“Miss. Veronica Giuliana?”

“You are under arrest for the assault on Miss. Yasmin Cassidy, you can choose to remain silent or anything said would be use against you in the court of law”

“What… what’s going on?” Conrad asked but they ignore him and take Veronica away.

For about a minute Conrad stood there not knowing what to do

He hear the cop reading out her crime and guess what it must have been about

He quickly go through her bag and find a lot of money plus her jelweries is all inside the bags she left behind

This could be his reward and her punishment for lying to him and killing his baby.

He thought and hurry to checked into the plane after taking the valuables from her bag leaving the rest at the spot.

“I’m sorry” Yasmin told him after breaking the news that she’s leaving

After two days Yasmin got discharged from the hospital but make the decision to leave.

She ask her parents to leave the room so she could have a last talk with him

“Do you really have to do this? Why?”

“I’m so sorry Kyler, I can’t just keeping hurting myself and people around me, my parents would kill theirselves if I choose to be with you”

“That’s bullshit! They just said that so you could go with them”

“No Kyler…”

“You want to leave me” he cut in looking really sad that it breaks her heart

How can she stay with all that has happened? Even though the company seems to be in a good state now

There are still many people who hates her and cuss at their union together

Even when it got out that Veronica had stabbed her, they claim it was resentment against the woman who stole her husband

Although the boards decided to keep him as the president still, her coming back to be with him would raise another problem.

Not only him but her parents are also suffering, her Dad might lose his job and they might be forced to leave their home.

“I owe my Mum and Dad” she let out

“And you owe me your heart Yasmin Cassidy” he state.

Yasmin move closer and wrap her hands around him before letting her tears fall

“I know, I love you Kyler”

Kyler did not hug her back feeling really upset about the whole thing and watch her leave the room.

He take a long breathe in and out trying to refrain himself from grabbing her back and locking her up to stop her from leaving

“You might regret not hugging her back” Alex told him watching his countenance.
