“Are you not bidding anymore?” Marvin asked.

“No.” Her maximum bid had been limited to 20 million dollars. If William were to offer that amount later, she would have no reason to stay, as she would automatically lose the bidding.

“Marvin, we may have to postpone going back,” Millie said seriously and sighed.

Winston glanced over as the two walked past. He slowly turned to watch Millie walk away.

Millie passed the suit jacket to Marvin, and her butterfly tattoo caught Winston’s attention. In a moment of frustration, she removed her mask and tossed it onto a waiter’s tray. Then, she removed her high heels, clearly agitated.

Winston quietly observed her intense emotions. He signaled the waiter to stop when he walked by. “That

mask.”

“Oh, that’s what the lady threw away,” replied the waiter.

Winston grabbed the mask and placed a bill on the tray. The waiter left smiling. Winston looked at the small fox mask and chuckled. It was such a coincidence. He was on a business trip and ran into Millie.

“Mr. Greer.” Eli approached.

Winston looked over. “Hmm”

“Ms. Caldwell is here for the Aspher. The gentleman accompanying her asked about the items up for auction today, showing particular interest in the Aspher.”

Winston acknowledged. “Got it.”

Eli gazed at him and asked, “What about the Aspher?” Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

Winston instructed with an intense gaze. “Take it back.”

“Yes, sir.” Eli immediately understood his intention.

Winston didn’t return to the auction hall because he saw William had left. He wondered if Millie was really going to meet William.

Millie left the auction hall holding a room card for the hotel nearby.

Marvin drove over. Millie swiftly retrieved the suitcase, placing it in the back seat. As she opened the Suitcase, Marvin drove to the hotel.

He looked back and saw Millie with a needle in her. hand. It seemed William was in for a rough time.

Marvin reminded, “Boss, be careful. We’re in Musbane

“I couldn’t care less about where we are. Since he dares to humiliate me, I’ll make sure that he never experiences an erection again for the rest of his life!” Millie cursed.

Marvin chuckled. “Boss, you’re becoming cooler and cooler.”

Millie pút her hair up and secured it with a hairpin for emergencies. Since her dress had no sleeves, she discreetly attached the silver needles to her waist so they were accessible whenever needed.

They soon reached the hotel across the street. Millie lingered in the car a bit, leaving William to wait. Suddenly, her phone rang, and the caller ID displayed Musbane’s number. It was clear he was feeling distressed.

Only after that did Millie get out of the car: Holding onto the car door, she looked up at the towering building.

Marvin said, “Boss, I’ll be waiting for you at the entrance. Once you come down, get into the car right away. We’ll leave immediately.”

Millie nodded in agreement.

“Call me immediately if there’s an accident, and I’ll come right away.” Marvin emphasized.

She hummed.

“Boss, please be careful. We don’t necessarily need to acquire the Aspher,” Marvin said apologetically. He felt guilty as Millie’s funds were limited due to his mistake.

Millie went to the hotel alone and used the room card to enter the elevator. On the 36th floor, she saw William’s two bodyguards nearby.

They were surprised to see her because she looked stunning. Her eyes were especially beautiful, sparkling with a mesmerizing light and radiating charm.

Millie fixed a disdainful gaze upon them and inquired in Encerian, “Where’s William?”

The bodyguards gestured toward the presidential suite, and Millie swiftly swiped the card. The door was opened.
