Millie’s exquisite figure and graceful stride captivated everyone’s attention, including William. He was surprised. “Who is she?”

“Winston, this woman is absolutely stunning,” William said in broken Chirean.

Winston looked up, and his gaze locked onto Millie’s back. He silently observed her.

William leisurely sipped his wine, glancing at Millie’s back. After a moment, he declared with a smirk, “I’ll go say hello.” ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .

Winston followed.

Millie washed her hands and leaned against the sink, feeling tired. She caught a flight here and didn’t rest upon arrival. After having afternoon tea, she went straight to the auction.

She planned to fly back overnight later and give the Aspher to Arthur in the morning. It was important to give it to him as soon as possible to ease his mind as it was a valuable medicinal material.

As Millie rubbed her neck, she caught sight of William leaning against the door.

William, with his typical Musbanian traits, possessed blonde hair, a slender frame, and a remarkable height. Being in his 30s, he exuded a captivating charm. His black mask covered half of his face, yet his prominent nose remained visible.

He waved and smiled. “Hi.”

Millie looked around.

William chuckled. “I’m talking to you.”

“Hello, Mr. Pearson.” Millie greeted him without hesitation.

William wasn’t surprised that Millie could recognize him. After all, he was the organizer of the auction.” Would you like to get to know each other?” he asked.

Millie agreed. “Sure.”

“Where are you from? You and my business partner have similar accents,” he asked.

When he mentioned his business partner, Millie couldn’t help but think of Winston. She replied gently, “I’m from Lumina.”

William said, “Oh? My business partner is from Yerwick.”

She smiled without saying a word.

“Can I have your number?” he asked.

Millie promptly handed him the phone, asking him to leave his phone number.

“Is it okay with you if I ask you out on a date?” He was direct.

Millie agreed. “Of course, I’d love to make friends.”

“But there’s another meaning to the date I mentioned. He took a step forward.

Millie narrowed her eyes and slowly took a step back. As she retreated, William advanced further. “What a stunning woman. I’d much rather see you beneath me-

Before William even finished speaking, Millie’s expression darkened, and she promptly cut him off. “Mr. Pearson, I urge you to show respect, both to me and yourself.”

Millie wondered, “What the hell is this? Just because you own a penis, you think it gives you the right to sleep with any woman?”

“You don’t have to be shy. This is the way things are done here.” With that, he tried to touch Millie’s shoulder.

Just as Millie was about to push his hand away, someone exclaimed outside the door, “Mr. Pearson!”

Millie and William gazed out together and noticed a waiter dressed in black standing there. “The auction has begun. Everyone is searching for you.”

William frowned, looking annoyed. He was wondering why the auction had started so quickly. He couldn’t believe that half an hour had already passed.

Feeling disappointed, he muttered unhappily, “Got it.”

“See you later.” William glanced at Millie and shook his phone before leaving.

Millie felt relieved. She thought William was a gentleman, but he was not. She immediately deleted his phone number.

After exiting the bathroom, Millie encountered a man leaning against the wall, smoking a cigarette. Despite wearing a mask, his intense gaze was evident.

He looked at her without speaking. The air was smoky. Millie didn’t like cigarettes, so she left as soon as she smelled the smoke.

He stared at her, his gaze gradually intensifying.

The waiter who notified William earlier returned. He approached Winston with a smile and stretched out his hand. “Mr. Greer.”

Winston stuffed a bill into the waiter’s hand. “Thank you.”
