Salute To The General

Chapter 2981

"I was enjoying the scenery from the top of the city when I heard a commotion outside..." Nathan sang as he casually made more tea with the clay stove, filling his surrounding with a sweet aroma.

"From board games to tea-making, there's nothing you can't do, isn't there, Mr. Cross?" inquired Colin rhetorically with a smile.

Myron, too, could not help but be amused. "Yeah. Is there anything you're not good at, Mr. Cross?"

Those around Nathan had nothing but admiration in their eyes as they gazed at him.

To them, Nathan was more than God of War. The man was talented in so many aspects that hardly anyone could compare to him.

"Diligence is the key. You can do anything if you're interested enough to invest time and effort into it," stated Nathan in response.

To that, Colin and the others simply chuckled without a word.

Nathan had always been a quick learner, which others failed to emulate.

No point in comparing ourselves to others. The group then decided to continue enjoying the tea, but suddenly, black dots began to appear on the surface of the sea.

When the dots got closer and bigger, the group realized they were looking at hundreds of enemy boats sailing on the sea, and standing on the fleet's flagship was none other than Hidetake.

With his eyes narrowed, Hidetake slowly parted his lips to speak. “I'm Hidetake Tokugawa, and I wish to talk to Nathan.”

After putting down his teacup, Nathan rose and gazed at the man on the deck of a fishing boat in the distance. "How dare you act so insolently when you know I'm here, Hidetake! If I were you, I'd take my men with me and scram. I see no reason to throw away your life nor your men's today, do you?"

Hidetake's face immediately hardened after he heard Nathan. Obviously displeased, Hidetake voiced, "Who's the insolent one now, Nathan? I've come to find out who is better between the two of us."

With that, he turned to his trusted subordinates and inquired, "Who wants to be the first to give our enemies a taste of our strength?"

Two subordinates volunteered almost as soon as they heard the question.

"I, Bunta, will be first."

"I, Takeshi, will be first."

"Good. You two show the Eurasians what we're made of." Hidetake smiled at the volunteers with satisfaction.

"Yes, sir!"

"Understood!"

Both Bunta and Takeshi then turned to face Nathan.

"Your guests are here, so who will you send to fight us?” shouted Bunta.

With that said, he exchanged looks with Takeshi before they made their move.

Boom!

A loud noise could be heard when the deck under their feet cracked.

Like lightning bolts, the men zoomed toward the beach from the fishing boat.

Colin and Myron responded almost at the same time immediately after Nathan asked the question.

"Let me go!"

"I'll go!"

After that, the men each picked an opponent and rush forward.

When Bunta and Takeshi saw how eager their two opponents were, they broke into a smirk. "Excellent!"

Then, they unleashed their fury as soon as they made contact with Colin and Myron.

Bam!

Bam!

The four men had only exchanged a few blows when Colin sent Bunta flying back to the fishing boat like a rag doll with a powerful punch.

The impact was so strong that Bunta vomited blood.

Meanwhile, Myron also managed to send Takeshi back to the fishing boat with an impressive kick,

excruciating pain.

Colin and Myron smiled after effortlessly fighting off their enemies, turning Hidetake's face as grim as death.

The Jetroinian general could not believe how easy it was for Nathan's subordinates to beat his men.

At that point, any fool could tell which of the two forces was stronger.
