Richest Mogul 1234
Chapter 1234
Ned glanced in Skylar’s direction, surrounded by several men dressed sharply in suits. They seemed to be discussing something, but she couldn’t quite make out what it was.
After that single glance, Ned shifted his gaze back, continuing to walk past the bridal shop with his entourage.
Skylar felt momentarily dazed. That fleeting glance reminded her so much of how Joe used to
look at her.
“Skye? Skye? What are you looking at?” Mona called her name several times, but Skylar didn’t hear her. She was staring out the window, completely lost in thought.
Mona immediately lifted her wedding dress and walked over. Following Skylar’s gaze outside, she found nothing unusual. There were only passersby on the busy street.
Skylar snapped out of her daze, slightly apologetic. “Sorry, I got a bit distracted. The wedding dress you’re wearing now looks great on you. Maybe you can compare it with the others you’ve tried.”
Mona was a simple–hearted person who didn’t dwell on things too deeply. Hearing Skylar’s suggestion, her eyes brightened.
“I think this is the best one I’ve tried on so far. It makes my back look so delicate, and I love
that.”
Mona gazed at her reflection in the mirror, growing more satisfied with every glance. She wanted to show Steven the best version of herself on their wedding day.
She also wanted all their friends and family to witness that she had found the man she could trust with her life. She believed wholeheartedly that Steven would love her forever, and her happiness would last a lifetime.
Around noon, Steven called Mona. Her face lit up with joy as she ended the call and turned to Skylar. “Steven said he’ll join us for lunch.”
“I won’t intrude on your romantic lunch date. I already have plans with a friend,” Skylar teased.
Steven was always busy, so Skylar didn’t want to be the third wheel during the rare moments he and Mona could spend together.
Mona looked a bit disappointed. “Are you sure you can’t join us for lunch?”
“Next time. Once you’re married to Steven, we’ll have plenty of chances for family lunches. You and Steven should enjoy these moments before the wedding. They’re precious,” Skylar said with a smile.

Hearing that, Mona no longer insisted. She truly cherished the time spent with Steven. There were many details and arrangements for the wedding that needed to be discussed with him.
Skylar had lunch plans with Minerva.
Minerva had just gotten engaged and returned to work at her family’s company, where she was swamped with tasks. It was rare for her to find time to meet up.
The two of them agreed to meet at a Wiscadian restaurant. The restaurant was quiet during lunchtime, with only a few patrons inside. They arrived almost simultaneously.
As soon as Minerva sat down, she began to vent to Skylar. “I’ve been so busy these past couple of days! I suddenly miss my days abroad, where I only had to focus on studying without worrying about work and all this chaos at work.”
“I brought you some collagen protein powder. It’s instant, so you just need to add water. It’s perfect for your busy schedule right now,” Skylar said, handing over the collagen protein powder she had just bought from the mall.
Having seen Minerva’s Instagram posts earlier, Skylar knew she was swamped. It wasn’t easy to adapt after being away from work for a few years.
However, with Minerva’s capabilities, handling these challenges would be a breeze. It was just a matter of whether she wanted to.
Minerva accepted the powder with a touched expression. “You really are the best to me.”
