Chapter 54
At the Blackmoon Pack, the solstice night continued in high spirits as the magical stars converged and began to fall like rain. covering the night sky.
Elise had been captivated by the solstice stars. Starstruck was the word Elise could use for this moment. The way the stars aligned like a narrow magical road was so peaceful, as everyone was in awe around her. It was perfect-maybe in her little bubble
Elise immediately noticed Bellamy’s scent had soured, so she tuned in to see what was making the she-wolf uneasy.
It was Zach who conversed with his friends and pointed at them, and they all snickered afterward. Though Bellamy couldn’t. hear what they were saying because of the distance, it was obvious that they were talking about them.
“Forget them, Bells; they are miserable and are just looking for someone to pick on.” Elise tells her. Elise then turns to Zach, making sure she lets some of her powers shimmer to the surface and reflect in her eyes.
It must have s***ed Zach enough to stand up with his peers and walk away from their spot.
“G**d, one El, you got those a**es running with their tails between their legs,” Bellamy pr*s.NôvelDrama.Org holds this content.
Th*ey go back to focusing on the beautiful star-showered night, but Elise feels a shift in her hearing. like it got more intense and precise.
She hears the rustling of leaves and the sound of males walking, and even Zach’s voice saying, “That Silver Night b**h thinks she is so powerful, and her friends believe she will protect them forever; we’ll show them when the chance come
And that was enough to make Elise sprint up from her seat. The three she-wolves looked shocked as she stood.
“What is it?”Vienna says to Elise.
“I just want to walk around; I’ll be back in a minute,” she says quietly, heading down the hill. She spots the dirty brown locks of Zach, who is with his clique, as they sneer and insult her friends.
“That Hana is a s**t, I tell you, always trying to look innocent; she wasn’t content with male c***ks, and she goes for female fingers, I’ll show her the real deal and make her love it when I tone it down her throat.”
Wham!
Elise had landed a hard shove on his back with her legs, making Zach topple over. “What the f**? Who is the b**d that did that?” He raged.
His friends were scared to point at Elise, especially recalling what happened at the academy. Both their eyes widened and blazed with apprehension at Elise’s presence.
He turned around to see who had attacked him, his face immediately going pale. “Y-you,” he stuttered at Elise.
“Yes, me.” Elise answered. “I thought I told you to leave my friend alone, or do you want your knees broken this time?” She threatened, trying to exude the aura that Rygan had when he showed his menacin and deadly gaze to his enemies, and it worked perfectly.
It had Zach and his friend scrambling back the moment she showed the violet-hued power in her orbs.
She moved like the wind, blocking one of Zach’s lackeys. Her grip on his arm became so strong that he hissed in pain as she slammed him against a tree. “Better yet, should I break his fingers? It will be fun to tell Beta Kaide what I just heard here and how you tried to attack me. Who do you think they’d believe, you or me?” she questions.
She could see the terror in their gaze, for sure, recalling what she had done to them and also Tazmin’s punishment. But somthing else accustined to realization formed on their faces is they begin to beg…
“We’re sorry, we never knew you were an alpha. The other friends beg, “P-please!”
“One word about my friends, and there will be no takebacks,” she calls, letting the male go. They scrambled away from the hill in fear, and even Zach didn’t dare look back.
A sigh of relief spread around her body. Even though she knew that she would be able to fight them, she didn’t want to lose control and was glad they bought her threats. But what did they mean by alpha? Was she that? It was impossible.
Her thoughts were cut short when she heard a familiar voice walking up the hill; this time it was Kaide and Tazmin
Elise had barely seen Kaide all day, especially after that embarrassing moment in his cabin. She wanted to apologize for it.
She followed the echoes of their voices till she saw him going into the woods; she staked the chance to follow him, and that is when she saw Kaide just with Taz alone, but their alpha, Rygan.
“Kyren wants Elise, and you know he will do everything he can. Tazmin says, and Elise feels cold terror speed through her body as she freezes at the mention of Kyren’s name.
“We can’t let that b**d Kyren have Elise.” Tax says just as Elise comes into view.
“What did you just say?” She asks the three men, who turn around and see her. She had heard everything they were talking about, and they knew they couldn’t even lie or keep it a secret from her anymore.
Rygan starts.
“Tell me what is going on; don’t keep me out of the loop, please she pleads with the alpha, even as Rygan is in wolf form.
We will talk somewhere else; if you could hear us, then someone else could be spying. He channels the message to them as he bends his hinged legs, showing his back for Elise to climb on
At first, she hesitates, but one look at Rygan’s orbs makes her feel calm. His gaze steadies her; she climbs his back, and both, betas turn to their respective wolves as they race out of the shadow woods.
They head to T** home instead, and as they near the gate, she still recalls how beautiful his home is, never having the opportunity to take the mansion in on her first visit.
She drops down from Rygan’s back as they head to his study, where Rygan turns back to his human form, clothes ready from T**s reserves.
“Tell me everything.” They explain to her the contents of the letter and the b**dy duel that could take place because Rygan took Kyren’s bride.
Elise knows of this duel, it was the way her mom was won by her father. When she was younger, she rite of passage, but it was pure death and a means to be shackled or prized to the wrong male.

“But I am not his mate or his property; that monster locked me in the cell and told me to deal with it; he planned to make a breed.” She is cut off by Rygan.
“He won’t take you, I promise.” he tells Elise, who begins to pace back and forth in the study. She turns to them, and at striking yet strange plan pops into her head. She is not sure if they might get on board with it, but she still has to try.
“I have a plan,” she announces. “It’s better than fighting a b**dy duel… I think I can face him, she replies. The three males. turn to look at her so fast they almost have whiplash; they then turn to each other as they all chorus out their shock
? No! They all bellowed at the same time.
“Well, I say we let him take her.” Another voice echoes from the door that barges open. They all turn to see the unwelcome guest that walks in; it’s Alvira’s mother, Adeline, who is an elder of the pack and strolls in with other elder wolves trailing in.
“What the hell are you all doing here?” Rygan snarled while watching as the elders trailed in.
“Trying to make peace, so let’s talk,” Alvira’s mother suggests with a wicked glance at Elise before she says.
“I say we give him the girl.”
