Chloe cried in panic basking away from Rivena.

Reena kered, “Or what? Are you going to kill me?”

am Damien’s future Luna, a Ravenwood’s daughter!” Chloe snapped, her voice high and shrill. “And I have 3 big brothers in my family! Don’t you dare lay a finger on me–”

Rivena suddenly burst into loud laughter. She laughed so hard that she had to bend down and cover her belly.

Luna my a**! Damien never crowned you officially. Oh and about the Ravenwoods…didn’t you steal Aurora’s family? You big old thief?”

Chloe’s face twisted in rage, “So what? The Ravenwoods hated Aurora! I am their daughter now. Everybody loves me”

Rivena cracked a laugh, “You can have the Ravenwoods all you want. Nobody gives a s**t about them anyway. Aurora has an Alpha brother now-the most powerful Alpha in the whole wide world.”

Rivena’s gaze was fierce, which made Chloe quiver in fear.

She wanted to back away from Rivena even further but she was left with nowhere to escape-her back heet was touching the edge of the cliff.

Chloe didn’t dare to face Rivena directly. So she instead turned to Lance and cried out in a pitiful voice:

“Alpha Lance…help me! Please talk some sense into this lady here! You must have heard about my health condition…I can’t dive…”

This was an old trick of Chloe-pretending to be weak and pathetic in front of men. Men would always grow. softhearted and lend her a hand.

It always got what she wanted.

But Lance was not any men.

He crossed his arms and stared at Chloe with a raised eyebrow, not a trace of sympathy on his face. He looked amused as though he was looking at a clown.

“How would I know about your health condition? I don’t f**g know you,” Lance said idly. “Please stop talking to me. Your voice disgusts me.”

Chloe widened her eyes in disbelief.

This was unbelievable…he didn’t even seem sympathetic toward her…how could Ever Moon Pack’s men be se

A hand suddenly seized Chloe by her collar.

“Lesson 1 in Ever Moon Pack-” Rivena gritted, glaring at Chloe. “-Keep your f**g eyes off other girl’s men!”

She gave Chloe a hard shove on the shoulder!

With a sharp cry, Chloe fell directly off the cliff.

Under the cliff.

Aurora had swum up to the surface, breathing heavily.

Diving was fun. It made her forget all of her troubles.

A splashing sound came from behind her back.

Then a large hand was placed on her shoulder, helping her to regain balance in the water.

“Are you OK?” Damien’s husky voice rang in her ears.

Aurora shivered as a chill was sent down her spine.

“I am fine. Thank you, Alpha Damien,” Aurora shook his hand off her shoulder and replied in a distant vo

She turned to face Damien.

He was floating in water, his smoky grey eyes on her. Water drops drippled down his handsome portrai in the sunshine like diamonds.

He seemed dazzling handsome in the golden afternoon hue, like a **d or angel.

No wonder so many girls in Silver Blade Pack went crazy for him.

“I am sorry,” Damien suddenly said.

She was too naïve to ever dream about him apologizing for something that he did to her in the past!

As it turned out that all he ever cared about was Chloe.

“You are wrong,” Aurora said in a freezing voice. “Don’t ever call Chloe my sister.”

Damien frowned, “Don’t be petty. I know you are still holding a grudge towards her. But Chloe didn’t steal parents. The Ravenwoods offered to adopt her. Chloe hesitated for months before finally saying yes. She good heart.”

Aurora was done talking to him.

Jared had swum to the shore already and was waving at them, “Aurora! Come up! Do you need a hand?”

Aurora smiled and raised her voice answering, “Coming!”

She swam away. But Damien grabbed her shoulder.

“Don’t go to him! We are not done here!” he snapped.

“Aren’t we?! Because I am so f**g tired of you giving me moral lessons about my family-”

A loud splashing sound came from nearby.

It was Chloe.

She was screaming all the way down and landed hard on her face.

The strong force knocked her down.

She was sinking right now.

Aurora looked at Damien’s worried face and snorted, “Instead of talking to me, you might want to go and check i her now

Damien said nothing,

But his grip gradually loosened.

Aurora shook him off and swam to the shore.

Jared was already waiting for her there. He offered a hand to her and pulled her up.

“That was a great dive!” Jared said enthusiastically, “Do you want to go second round now? I can hold your hand this time.”

Aurora replied with a polite smile, “No thanks. I think I am going to take a little rest.”

“Good idea. Do you want to go and sit on that rock?”

While they were talking, Damien had carried the unconscious Chloe up to the shore as well.

He placed her down on the ground and pressed on her chest for a few times. Her body twitched. Then she threw up a mouth of water and started coughing violently.

She snapped her eyes open.

“Y-You! You all-”

Chloe struggled to sit up, pointing at Aurora, her makeup all smudged by water and tears.

“You wanted to kill me!!!” she screamed at the top of her lungs, “You are a bunch of heartless Murderers! Dami You must serve justice for me!”

She threw herself into Damien’s arms and wailed loudly.

Rivena and Lance had finished diving and was coming up to the shore together.

Hearing about Chloe’s accusation, Rivena snapped:

“Cut the c**p alright? Nobody wants to kill you. You ain’t rogues or anything. There is no fun in snapping your skinny neck.”

Chloe paused and then her wailing suddenly became even higher, “Murderer!!! I am going to die here in Ever Pack! Because of you-!!!”

Lance’s voice fang higher above Chloe’s wall.

am curious, Lance stared at Chloe and asked, “I thought diving was a mandatary lesson for all younger werewolves. Why don’t you know how to dive at all?”

She didn’t know because she forced Aurora to take all lessons for her.

But she surely wouldn’t admit it now!

She glanced at Damien in panic trying to find out about his reaction toward this.

Yet to her fury, Damien was not even looking at her. His eyes were on Aurora.

Aurora’s legging became all wet in the water. So she was taking it off right now.

He stared intently at Aurora’s long, straight legs, which were covered with scars. Some looked like knife wounds, while others appeared to be bite marks. The injuries extended from her thighs all the way down to her ankles.

On the back of Aurora’s feet, there were scars that looked like frostbite…

Damien narrowed his eyes slightly in perplex.

Weird.

When did Aurora get those frostbites.

Had she ever hurt her feet in the snow?
