“Whoa!” Exclaimed Adia loudly, watching the city that buzzed with life.
As she turned to leave, she bumped into Logan, who was surprisingly outside
“I thought you”
“I decided to do something else, let’s take a stroll round” Logan suggested as Adia took a look at her watch, it was passed seven, so she still has a little time left.
“Fine, I’ll go get my purse”
“Here” Logan said, handing out the purse to her.

As they both walked, through the pathway, many turned their heads, towards them as they both looked like dazzling couples, under the streets light.
This was especially true for Logan, who looked so handsome, Adia equally pretty too, the moonlight also added to his beauty.
“Why are you walking so fast?” Logan asked Adia, who seemed to be in a hurry, and was already ahead of him.
Adia shook her head as she joked,
” Can’t you see how the pretty girls are staring at you, don’t want to give the wrong impression”
“First of all, they’re not as pretty as you, also I don’t think they’ll ever have the chance” came Logan’s serious reply, as Adia swallowed deep, not knowing if to blush or just push what he said aside.
” Instead of worry about leaches, let’s do something fun”
” Well, am quite parched, I need something cold”
” Let’s go get some cold drinks then” said Logan dragging a smiling Adia along.
A few fun won’t hurt, she thought as Logan purchased the drinks.

” I know right, that was so hilarious”
” Oh geez, we should hang out more often” said Adia, to her Logan was really fun to be around with, he’s a really nice person, and would make a very good friend.

“Then I guess we have to call it a day, it’s getting dark, I’ve to get home”
“I’ll give you a ride” offered Logan, giving his best smile.
“Okay, thanks” Adia didn’t bother to refuse him this time, she’s already beginning to see him as a good friend, and secondly, it’ll be better to accept the ride, cause a taxi, will be hard to get by this time.
After getting into the car, he asked,
“Usual spot right?”
“Yea” responded Adia, who didn’t want to give him, an exact location, just yet.
Logan drove out of the parking lot, a he asked,
“Where do you wanna meet next time?”
“I say we wait till then, don’t you think!”

” Thanks so much for the ride Logan”
” Not a problem”
” I’ll get going now” said Adia making her way for the door, but was having problems with the seat belt, as it was stuck.
” Let me help with that” offered Logan, and before Adia could hesitate, he was already working on it, so she had no choice than to obliged.
” Done” Logan who was already retracting, stopped midway in a daze, lost in her enchanted beauty.
Adia wore a frown on her face, as she realized that Logan has been staring for too long now, she didn’t want anything to be awkward between them.
They were nothing but friends.
“Am sorry” Logan quickly apologized, retracting back to his seat, watching as she walked into the darkness, he realized, she’s the first human he’s ever apologized to, he has not even said sorry to a vampire, not to talk of a weak creature, a mere human.
He signed heavily, dialing a number
“Sir” Griffin’s deep voice echoed from the other side of the line.
“Prepare my dinner, strictly brunette” he ordered turning on the ignition key, before driving away

Adia freshened up quickly, before Putting on her pajamas, thankfully no one suspected her movements.
She couldn’t help, but wondered what, Sebastian was up to now,
Is he with some other woman, why is he so cold to her?
His birthday was coming up this weekend, which is also surprising her birthday also, and she has plans for it.
Ace mentioned that he doesn’t celebrate birthdays, so she’ll just try and make an exception this year.
She’ll have to ask Monica and Monique for help, a loud knock came, breaking her from her ocean of thoughts, as she walked to the door.
“Milkelson” she called, seeing the ever serious guard, who hardly smiles or talks, and is always devoted to his work.
“Miss Adia, sir Sebastian called to ask if you’re faring well?” He informed, as Adia sneered inwardly.
He could have just called, besides, I never knew, he’d care so much to ask about my welfare’ she thought.
” As you can see, I’m perfectly fine, except the fact that boringness is killing me softly, do tell him that ” she said with a high note of sarcasm.
“I’ll make sure to deliver your message ma’am, and if you’re bored, there’re lots of things to do around here”
“Water the flowers, Converse with the servants, whom Sebastian your master, has clearly warned me to steer clear from, or what else watch movies, come on, Mickelson, I can keep on repeating the same circle, everyday” scoffed Adia loudly, this is the longest conversation, she’s ever had, with this stiff man, she can’t just believe, that they’ll both stand by her door post one day, conversing.
“Ma’am, what would you like to be around here, to keep you company?” He enquired, but it only resulted in Adia, glaring daggers at him.
“I want to leave this damn prison, and please drop the honorifics, it makes me feel sick” Adia stated, as the word ‘ma’am didn’t settle well with her.
“Then what can I call you, ma’am?”
“Adia, it’s Adia, drop the ma’am, of a thing, speaking of names, your name Mickelson”
” What’s wrong with the name, ma’am?” He asked as Adia glared at him.
” It’s pretty too long for me, I think I’ll settle for something else, like a nickname” suggested Adia, as Mickelson wondered what has gotten into Adia these days, she is just getting bolder and bolder.
“Mickel, no, Mi, ( like m…. I) no, I think we’ll just settle for Mick, what do you think?”
“I don’t know”
“Oh geez, you’re just as bland as your boss, I don’t get it, where did they get you both from, so boring” Adia blabbed on, as Mickelson just watched in silence, the young Dares to think ill of the master.
” You know what, I’m feeling dizzy already” said Adia, who was already feeling her head spinning.
“Good night, Mick, and drop the honorifics” concluded Adia, as she quickly closed her door, leaving a speechless Mickelson outside, who couldn’t help but wonder where his boss got this wild woman from.
