“Why do you keep pushing me away Sebastian?” Adia asked in pains,
“Cause you were never meant to be here Adia, ” he said plainly,
“I’ll stand on my ground and fight for your love” Adia said with a note on finality, she’s not just doing this for herself, but also for her unborn babies she want them both to grow with the love of a father and a mother,
“You know what Adia, do what you want, you can keep on obsessing over me or loving me like you claim, do what you fucking want, but you know what never expect me to feel the same way for you, and trust me Adia, you’ll be the one to get hurt at the end of the day,” Sebastian said angrily that’s one of the things he hated so much about humans, they tend to act so stubborn.
Adia just stood staring at him speechlessly, he’s doing it, he’s trying to make her change her mind, he’s trying to make her hate him, but what he just can’t seem to understand Is that the more he tries to push her away, the more she falls deeper for him.
“I’m tired, I need some rest,” Adia blurted while walking to the bed. As she climbed in, she didn’t want to talk about this issue again or Sebastian would just try to persuade her from her decisions.
“You can close the door behind you,” Adia added, shutting her eyes and pretending to fall asleep.

“Ma’am I’m so sorry for hiding this from you, it’s just that humans are not supposed to know about our existence,” Monica begged as Adia dryed her hair,
” I’m not angry Monica, I’ll just come to live with that fact and accept you all, I know it’s gonna be real fun spending time with dozens of vampires,” Adia said with a smile as she dropped the hair dryer on the dressing table, she has decided to accept her fate, besides it has already happened, the deed has already been done, so there’s no going back.

” Besides I haven’t seen Monique, where’s she?” Adia asked, there are lots of people she’ll actually want to meet, like Mickelson, she has not seen him for a long time now, what kind of vacation did he go for, and why is his vacation so long? Does Sebastian even grant breaks for his workers?, She asked herself curiously,

“Not really, well the thing is, um…” Monica stutters, not knowing how she’s going to break the news of her sister’s death to Adia, and the fact that Monique was actually plotting against her.
“What’s the problem Monica, speak up,”
“Well she’s dead” Monica broke the news, closing her eyes shut, as Adia gasped Loudly.
“Dead…how?” Adia asked in shock,
“Wel..” Monica began not even knowing how to begin, but she resorted to tell the truth, it’s better she says the truth.
“It turns out she was plotting against you, that’s why she approached you in the first place, showing you the secret passage and all stuffs, do she could tail you and then tell master Sebastian that you’re cheating on his and the rest, so she .. she…I…” Monica’s voice broke feeling so bad and mad at herself, the fact Monique did something unforgivable won’t change the fact that they’re sisters and twins for that matter.
“Sebastian killed her right?” Adia asked, stating the obvious as Monica nodded slowly agreeing with Adia.
“I .. I’m…so sorry, I don’t know what to say…I,” Adia stammered trying to find the right words to say, so Monique is dead not only that she was killed by Sebastian.
” It’s all okay now, I’ve come to live with and accept that, There’s nothing I can do anymore,”
“What about your mother, Samantha?” Adia asked about the first kind woman she met when she first stepped foot into this house.
“My mother returned to Britaris, she feels it’s better she remains there” Monica replied as Adia’s face held a confused look.
“What’s a Britaris?”
“It’s like a city, for vampires, exclusive for vampires, that’s where most vampires reside,” Monica informed Adia who looked shocked.
“There’s actually a city for vampires??” Adia exclaimed in shock, there’s really a lot of things for her to find out about this vampire stuff.
“Yes ma’am,”
“Wow!!”
“Yeah, Britaris is divided into seven provinces, ruled by the seven twilight vampires, and sir Sebastian is one of them,” Monica explained,
“Woah, but what’s a twilight vampire?”
“I think it’s best you ask sir Sebastian about everything you want to know about vampires, he’s in the best position to tell you that, not me, I’ve not really being to Britaris myself,” Monica said, her and her sister wet turned just when they returned from France, they were just little kids then and she’s the she’s been living here working as a servant, she has visited Britaris before, but that was when she was way younger, so there’s really nothing she knows about that place, just that it’s a great place to be.
“I’m so sorry about Monique,” Adia sympathized, she knows how painful it is to lose a sister, she got into all of these, the pregnancy, the news about vampires, trouble with Kate, who’s out seeking her life, because she wanted to save a sister, and she doesn’t regret ever making that decision, she don’t know if she would have been able to live without Addison, her life would have been practically over, so even If Monique conspired against her, she’s still someone’s sister and family.
“Don’t worry ma’am, I’ll try and live with that,” Monica said feeling guilty still, because she knew all about Monique’s plans, but kept quiet about it, what if her plan had succeeded and Adia eventually git into trouble or better still got killed, she would have never been able to forgive herself.
“And I think it’s better you drop that, ma’am, the name’s Adia, we’re way past that now,” Adia said, embracing Monica.
“Butt…”
” No buts, think of me as your sister now Monica, you’re no longer a maid but my sister now, and that’s the only way I can forgive you, so what do you say?, Hmm”
” I……, thanks Adia, I’ll never disappoint you,” she finally said after hesitating a bit as her face broke into a smile.
