“For so long, no one knew about our existence, not even the man she loved and would give anything for…” Elise paused, as her eyes settled on Sebastian.
“It was the day before your birthday, on July 26th 1996, she came to us, telling I and Esmee to accompany her to wartz..”
“I objected of course, because wartz was a very dangerous place to be, but Aisling begged, saying she needed to get a diamond, and make it into a beautiful gift Sebastian, she so assured us that she was bringing a friend along…”
“If there was one flaw about Aisling, it was that she trusted to much..” Elise stated, she thinks everyone was her friend, and she could trust everyone, that’s what led to her early death.
“I eventually agree, and it was agreed upon that I and Esmee cast a protection spell on wartz..”
“On July 27 1996, I and Esmee waited patiently for Aisling to arrive, and finally she did, with Kate behind her, I and Elise still didn’t trust the friend she was bringing along with her, so we stood at a corner to observe her, Kate also didn’t know about is, Aisling wanted it to come off as a surpris..”
“Aisling was about to call out for us, when Kate suddenly poured a substance on her, so my something we suspected to be ginger water, Aisling grew weak, and Kate took advantage of that and butchered her” Elise choked on her words, that day was very terrifying for her, a day she would never forget.
“I hate myself so much for doing nothing to save my best friend, Kate won, she managed to burn Aisling body parts to ashes, and I did nothing, I just stood on fear that my identity could get exposed, but I would be a very bad friend, if I had mentioned Aisling to just die, when it was not yet her time, so I did a little spell and trapped Aisling soul, as left back for the human world.
“I and Esmee decided to give Aisling another chance to live, but we were running out of Time, we couldn’t hold off a soul for such a long time, but luckily we found a woman who was being taken to the hospital because she had a miscarriage, we discovered her fetus was already dead, so we planted Aisling’s soul in the dead fetus, that’s how Adia came to life…” she confessed as silence reigned for a very long time, who would have thought that Aisling’s soul has been living inside of Adia all this while, but that didn’t make Adia, Aisling, they were two different people.
“Because Aisling was a vampire before she died, we didn’t want the baby to be born a vampire, so we did a spell that made her immune to anything about vampires, that way no vampire will be able to come near her, since a vampire killed her, she was made the tool that could kill vampires..” she said softly,
“So you’re saying that Aisling’s soul is inside of Adia?” Arion questioned meaningfully, as Elise nodded, that explains it all, the looks and everything, it was the doings of the witches all along.
“It was like a give and take situation..” Elise replied,
“Then why did you hide it from everyone?” Arion asked,
“We don’t hold any sort of a special relationship, that I’ll tell you this, you know I’m still totally against all of these..” she snapped, vampires have always taken what she loved away from her, first were her parents, than the only friend she had managed to make.
“Rot in hell..” Arion said, removing his attention from her.
“Adia’s case is a very serious one, and the spell that is to be used in saving her is a very strong one that by the end of the day, there might be lots of changes…” Elise began,
“What’s that?”
“There might be a chance of the babies tapping into our magic..” she announced as everyone wondered what she meant.
“And I’m not sure you vampires will be ready for that..”
“What do you mean tapping your magic?” Sebastian pursed his lips, as Adia held his hands tight.
“They might have some magic in them by the end of this all, making them Vampires that can weild magic..” she informed as Adia spared a glance at Sebastian, she had no idea what that was, or if it was even a good thing.
“We witches will also have access to the babies just like you vampires, are you ready for that?” Questioned Elise, the vampires might not agree with that, but that’s their problem.
“Whatever, all long as Adia lives fine by me..” Sebastian uttered, vampires able to weild magic, only means they’ll be ten times stronger than they’re supposed to be, but that can be dealt with.
“We’ll perform the spell on the next full moon which is three days from now, I will be needing just one favour from you..” she began,
“A doctor of course, that’s the oy thing you have to deal with, I’ll take care of the rest…” she said,
“Elise is thos really necessary?” Esmee tried butting in,
“We need to see our mother Esmee, it’s very important we do..” she whispered to her sister.
“The spell is a forbidden one, and can take a person’s life of not careful…” she stammered, warning bells ringing in her head.
“Eloise will join us, and they’ll take us to mother’s grave, we can tap magic from her…”
“Seriously Elise, it’s not necessary..”
“Let it be Esmee, it’s a win-win, for both parties..”
“Are you okay?” Sebastian asked Adia, softly as she shook her head, everything is happening so fast, so they’ve finally found a solution for her, and in three days time, she’s finally going to see her babies.
“Yes I guess..” she replied in a croaked voice.
“Should we go upstairs?” Questioned Sebastian, as Adia shook her head, the night has been a pretty long one.Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
“Come on..” Sebastian beckoned as he carried her up in a bridal style leaping upstairs straight to their room.
