Silence reigned, as Eloise thought hard for a very long time, she had thought for the first time, that he must have had some ulterior motives, who knew he was searching this hard, just to try and save a person’s life.
“Which person’s life are you trying to save” she questioned,
“Adia..” he replied as Eloise stilled, so he even has a woman in his life, the one he has been trying desperately to save.
“Adia?” She questioned repeating what he had said.
“Yes, she’s my brother’s wife and she’s pregnant..”
“I see..” Eloise hummed meaningfully, as relief involuntarily washed through amher, whoever the Adia was, was not a woman in his life, she’s his brother’s wife, but why do they need to save her, and why is she dying.
“She’s human, and I’m sure you must know by now, that humans can’t bear vampire children..” he explained, as realization struck her, it’s true human were not allowed to hear vampire children, it will be a force to nature, as hybrid babies are considered invariably strong, not only that the humans loses their life, she no one should definitely make that kind of mistake.
“Why did she, you know..”she stammered looking for how to present her question, she can’t possibly ask why they still went ahead and married when they were both aware of the dire consequences, not only that they also did what couples normally do.
“It just happened…” Arion spoke out as if reading her thoughts.
“Oh..” she gasped,
“It was all an accident, so my brother has no choice than to marry her, and look for how to keep her alive, but I guess that’s not going to be possible anymore…” he stated, wondering why Moreau would want him to return all of a sudden, and why did Moreau even appear out of nowhere.

“Because I know they are, I saw a vision of them, and though the witches were sent into extinction, there’s a certain witch family that are still alive…” he explained as Eloise froze on the spot, what does he know?” She asked herself alarmingly.
“The la Fey’s sisters are still alive somewhere, ” he concluded, as Eloise inhaled sharply
“Pack up, we’ll be leaving in five..” he announced, getting up on his feet walking away.

Eloise climbed down the helicopter, following behind Arion slowly, they had arrived in britaris. She’s heard a lot about this place, but never did she expect it to be this beautiful and calm, but a split second, she had expected it to be a place that rained blood.
“Your home..” she questioned, pointing at a big mansion, that settled on top of a mountain, infact, they were on top of a mountain.
“Yes…” he replied,
“Your home is beautiful..” she admired, but he didn’t give her a response, as he walked on.
She heard before that seven elders ruled britaris, so she was beginning to suspect Arion, belonging to one of the families, he has never told her anything about himself or even his family, in fact the only thing she knows about him, is that he has a brother and a sister In law who’s trying to find a witch to save.
“The huge door sprang open, revealing the face of a beautiful woman, who seemed to be waiting for them, in fact she was not the only one waiting, a man was standing behind her, who almost had a striking resemblance to Arion, who she presumed must be his brother.
“Arion…” she called cheerfully, her face beaming with smiles as she stretched her hand for a hug, which he savagely refused.
“You haven’t changed a bit..” the woman, frowned as Eloise wondered who she might be,
“Let him mother, you act as if you don’t know your son…” the man standing behind the woman smiled mischievously as Arion ignored the both of them.
“Where’s Moreau?” He questioned,
“Chill brother, it’s not as if you can tear this place down..” the man’s lips curved up, as Eloise took a second glance at him, so they’re brothers, that’s explains the striking resemblance between them, and the woman is his mother, she looks so young, calm and kind.
“You know I can do that if I have to..” Arion hissed.
“Welcome back son…” Celeste said softly, he didn’t even say goodbye when he was leaving and just left.
“Where’s Sebastian?” He questioned,
“Out with his wife, they’ll be back soon, though..” Ace replied, as his gaze flew to Eloise.
“How uncultured of you brother…” he sucked his teeth walking up to Eloise.
“How can you leave a woman all by herself, unattended to?” He pointed out, shaking his head distastefully.
“Look mother, he brought a woman…” Ace announced, holding Eloise by her shoulders, as he led her into the house, she had been standing outside, a few meters away.
“What a rare sight, red haired and green eyes..” Ace observed pointing out her appearance.
“My name is Ace, your boyfriend’s brother, infact twin brother…” he introduced, as Eloise’s face wore a state of shock, so Arion is a twin.
“Don’t be shocked hun, I can’t believe we shared a womb also..” he teased, as Eloise giggled, there was a difference between them, by the way, aside from the look, they both had different personalities.
“This is my mother…” he pointed at Celeste, who smiled warmly at her.
“Welcome dear..” Celeste began, finding it hard to believe that Arion brought a woman.
“I can’t believe that Arion…”
“She’s not my girlfriend…” Arion interrupted,
“She’s just a friend..” he stated,
“Ask the maids to prepare a room for her and make her comfortable..” he said, turning to face the door, as Celeste questioned him with a puzzled look on her face.
“Where are you going?”
“I have to take care of something, I’ll be back soon…” with that he leaped away leaving Eloise, his brother and mother.
“What’s your name dear?” Celeste asked with a grim expression on her face, the young lady before her was so familiar, very, very familiar, her presence rang in a bell, she reminded her of someone.
“Eloise…” Eloise replied sheepishly, the way Celeste stared at her made her feel uncomfortable.
“You’re scaring her mother..” Ace said softly, knowing his mother might have sensed something, but it’s not right to behave that way in front of her, especially when she’s human.
“Come on, I’ll give you a tour round the house..” Ace offered dragging her away leaving Celeste there, as Celeste kept staring at her fading silhouette, the girl looked so familiar.
