“How’s she doing now Marcel?” Sebastian asked the doctor, the moment he stepped out of Adia’s room.
“What can I say?”
“Her condition is getting critical as we all know, she’s losing blood, lots of em..” he informed,
“Don’t forget she’s carrying two babies, not one, so her health will keep on dwindling..” he stated,
“So there’s nothing you can do?” Sebastian’s brows furrowed, as Marcel stepped back a little, everyone knows how irrational Sebastian can act when angry.
“There’s actually something we can do for now, I’ll send some herbal herbs later to relieve her pain, and also a blood tonic, that can also help as long as she takes them, I’ll also recommend healthy foods, this time is very crucial for her, it’s best if she doesn’t stress herself, she should also refrain from thinking too much..” Marcel explained to them, as they listened with rapt attention, but it seems as if he was not done.

“And what is it?” Sebastian snapped, Marcel is speaking too much.
“Since she is getting drained of blood, I’ll suggest we give her blood everyday..”
“She’s human, how do you expect her to drink blood?” Sebastian asked angrily,
“I know, so we’ll go for a blood transfusion, I’ll check for her blood group, and arrange for blood bags, everyday we can transfuse two blood bags into her, probably that might also help..” he voiced out his suggestion,
“So what of your suggestions fail?” Sebastian queried.
“We just have to hope it works sir, I’ll come in tomorrow..” he said bowing.
“I should take my leave now..” she said walking away.
“Everything is fucked up..” Sebastian gritted his teeth staring at Adia who laid peacefully on the bed.
“No it’s not..” Celeste chimed in softly,
“I’m certain everything is going to work out” she added,
“We’ll leave once she wakes up..” he stated as Celeste brows furrowed, wondering why he’s so intent on leaving with Adia.
“I don’t think that’s the right thing to do son..” she began,
“It will only worsen her situation, for now I think you should do what she wants, not what you want..”
“I’m very sure you heard what Marcel said, she needs absolute rest, how will she get that, if you make her leave against her wish, she’ll only worry the most, and will live in guilt..”
“She’s so guilty for what happened to Logan and feels it’s all of her fault, how do you think she’ll feel if you leave now? Huh, she’ll never stop thinking about that and it will only worsen her condition..” Celeste signed deeply, staring at Adia.
“Poor thing..” she mumbled, she does not deserve any of this.
“Make her happy, Sebastian..” she voiced out.
“Do all you can to make sure a smile never leaves her face, give her nothing to worry about, don’t forget that laughter is the best medicine..” Celeste concluded, if being here in britaris makes Adia happy, she’ll have to remain in britaris, so she remains happy.
“I’ll leave you to think about it, call me if you need anything..” she said, tapping Sebastian before walking away, giving him time to think.

“Are you doing okay now?” Sebastian asked Adia worriedly, taking a seat beside her, as he placed his hands around her shoulders.
“Yeah, I guess…” she replied feeling more better than before,
“What happened?” She asked, the last thing she remembers was vomiting blood after that her mind was blank.
“You passed out..” he replied almost in a whisper as Adia nodded slowly.
“What did the doctor say?”
“You have to take absolute care of yourself, and take your medications on time..” he explained,
“Ok..” Adia muttered, she’s fine as long as her babies are alright.
“Seb..” she called softly,
“Hmm hmm..”
“I don’t want to leave this place..” she voiced out, it’s so fun being here in britaris, and she feels she’s not stayed long enough, she’s yet to even meet Sebastian’s father, who she knows is still alive, but no one speaks about him around here.
“Alright we can stay..” he spoke out loud, he had finally come to a conclusion to stay, if that’s what will make her happy, then so be it, all that matters now is her health, nothing more.
“Thanks..” she muttered weakly, placing her head on his shoulders.
“Why do you want to leave here so badly?” Safe asked, he was not comfortable with staying here and she knew it, that’s one of the reasons why he probably took her away to their little vacation house, could it be that this place reminds him of Aisling.
“Is it because of Ai..”
“It’s not because of Aisling..” he interrupted, though he still had memories of her here, Aisling was definitely not the reason why he badly wanted to leave this place.
“Then why, why don’t you like being around your family?”she questioned, wanting to ask his father also, as she’s not set her eyes on him since she stepped foot into this house, the only thing she knows is that Moreau is still breathing and alive.
“Because growing up here was kind of a hard thing for me..” he voiced out.
“Moreau spent most of his life blaming himself for the death of Estelle la fey, for so many years, he was a shadow of himself, that’s to show how much he loved her..” he explained,
“But then Celeste still stayed, knowing his heart belongs to another, giving him her support, then what did he do, he went ahead to impregnate another woman, her maid at that..” he clicked his tongue distastefully, those were his worst days really, him watching his mother hurting at a corner, even when she killed Logan’s mom, she never felt better, but then blamed herself for acting so irrationally.
“It’s because she loved him, Seb..” Adia signed deeply,
“You can do anything for the one you love..” she said softly, she could do anything for him because she loved him, that’s the only reason she has accepted her fate to die, because she loves him that she can do anything for him, she has grown to love Sebastian so much, so much more that she could ever imagine or even believe.
