“Adia please, you have to talk to me” Monica begged walking after Adia, who climbed after the stairs, the past few days have really being horrible for her, Adia being angry with everyone in the house, giving them all attitude, it really sucks.

” I thought I told you to keep a distance away from me?” Adia growled stopping abruptly, as she turned swiftly to face Monica, who stumbled backwards.

“And I don’t want to ever hear my name from your mouth, get lost..” she yelled walking away, her phone made a ping sound, as she checked what it was, she rolled her eyes scornfully, realizing it was one of the endless texts from Cora begging for forgiveness, Cora has been begging non-stop, but Adia doesn’t even bother to open the messages.

She has about one hundred missed calls from Cora, with fifty apologies texts, it’s better Cora gives up, cause Adia wouldn’t even bother opening the message.

“Good morning sister in law” Ace greeted in his usual jovial tone as he approached Adia who just came down from the stairs.

“I’m not your sister in-law” Adia stated nonchalantly, walking away from him.

“Of course you are, my one and only sister in law..” he said with a bright smile.

“In case you have forgotten, this is a contract marriage, so think before you speak, don’t go around saying rubbish..” she advised, leaving his sight,

“Damn..” Ace exclaimed watching Adia leave, she’s so so fierce overnight, who would have thought she had this side of her, the once lovely Adia, has turned into a harsh one.

Adia got to the dining table, sitting down elegantly, while the maids served her breakfast, she met Sebastian there, having his coffee as usual, but this time it wasn’t coffee, but blood.

He said such harsh words to her, during their last conversation, when he was clearly the one at fault, but he never even bothered to come and apologize to her, and gave Adia the same attitude she’s giving him.

“Son of a pig..” Adia cursed at him mumbling under her breath, the fact he hasn’t come to apologize, angering her, pushing her to the edge, she might soon pick up an object to hit, that handsome face of his.

“Hmmm…”she cleared her throat, wanting to gain his attention.

“I know you won’t reply, but rot in hell, I don’t want your replies either, I’ll be leaving this house..” she finally voiced out her thoughts, staying in this house was suffocating, she can’t take it.

“No..” came Sebastian short reply, as Adia growled.

“Well, you can’t stop me, I was informing you, not because I need your damn permission, so you know, so don’t think too highly of yourself..” she said out loud.

“You’re going no where Adia..” he stated, looking up at her for the first time.

“That’s not up to you, to decide, so fuck you” she cursed at him.

“Well it is, I don’t think you read the contract before signing it, it’s stated that you do anything I say, and can’t leave this house without my consent, at least not while you’re still in this house ” he reminded her.

“The problem now is, I’ll never get to leave here, because I’ll just die afterwards..” she spat at him.

“Adia!!!” Sebastian called in a menacing and threatening tone.

“What??”

“It’s not as if I’m lying….” She sneered,

“Whatever, you just made me lose my appetite, I’ll be in the car” she spoke, getting up from the chair, walking out if Sebastian.

“Good morning sir..” Sebastian’s secretary greeted standing up on her feet immediately she saw Sebastian walk in.

Sebastian waved at her as he proceeded to walk in, but was stopped by the secretary,

“Sir..” she called,

“Well, this proposal just came in…” she stopped speaking, as she saw a woman come in, not just any woman, but a pregnant woman.

“Good day ma’am, but you’re not supposed to be here” she said softly to Adia, who glared at her.

Adia took a good look at the secretary, this one was totally different from Laura, she wasn’t here to work, but to also seduce her husband, look at how she’s dressed, her blouse is exposed at the top, showing off her cleavage, not to talk of the amount of make up, she wearing, her skirt isn’t even something to write home about.

This is the first time, she’s coming here, since Laura’s vacation, so she’s just meeting this new secretary, and how dare her talk to her like that.

“Ma’am, please make your way out..” the secretary said politely yet again, but Adia could clearly hear the tone of mockery in her voice.

“Who’s she?” Adia asked Sebastian,

“Ask her yourself..” came Sebastian’s reply, to the secretary dismay, this man hardly talk to people, not to talk of her, his new secretary, it was actually a great opportunity to work as his secretary, she has tried all her best to get close to him, all to no avail, he doesn’t even blink an eye at her.

“Who are you?” Adia asked the secretary,

“Bel…be…Bella..” she stuttered,

“I don’t like her,” Adia said out of no where.

“Look at how she’s dressed, she’s obviously here to seduce you, her cleavages are out,” Adia complained, staring dangerously at the so called Bella.

Who does she think she is?, Thankfully Sebastian is not the type to fall for these kind of things, she thought.

“You’re fired..” Adia announced as Bella froze.

“I don’t get, who are you..”

“I’m his wife, and as you can see, I’m expecting our baby, I don’t want leeches like you around my husband, so leave…” Adia stated,

“But ma’am..” Bella stammered, not knowing where to begin, who would have thought, her boss had a wife.

“Are you a vampire?” Adia asked Bella, who stood confused….

“Compel her to forget everything, and then leave this place..” she yawned walking out of them.

“Compe…” Bella stopped speaking, when Sebastian suddenly held her hands, looking at her straight in the eyes.

“Si.. r” Bella mumbled, this is the first time she’s seeing her boss’s face up close, damn he’s so good looking.

“Forget everything you’ve seen and heard today, pick up your bag and go home, you had to go home because you were feeling sick” he compelled Bella, who just stared at him hypnotized as he walked away from her.
