Kade came back home from work with a slight frown on his face. I heard from Valora that he went to see his father and I suspected that he has gotten wind of our activities last night. 

I had told him about my discovery that Victoria was a spy for his father and he said he knew about it. It must’ve been her who told his father about us because she was suddenly nowhere to be found.

Valora was having her home school lessons while I made dinner for the family as she’d taught me. I served the meal and Kade ate quietly, so did the children. Suddenly he picked up his phone and went to his room upstairs. 

His father must’ve told him to close his company and continue working for him. 

After spending time with the children, I went to Kade’s room to tell him goodnight. He was laying on the bed with a system on his thighs as he peered at the screen through his glasses. His hair was damp and he was still in his robe. 

“Kade?” 

“Yes Daisy.”He said and I got confused, was he not mad at me? He wouldn’t call me that if he was mad at me.

“I just wanted to tell you goodnight. I’ll be off to my room now.” 

“What?! You’re not sleeping here?”he asked, taking off his glasses. 

“I thought you needed some time alone, you seemed angry and now you’re preoccupied with work so..”

“Viola, I’m not angry don’t be silly. Come here,”he said and I lifted my night robe so I could walk freely to where he was laying. He set his laptop aside and pulled me to himself.

“Why is the gown so long? You don’t want me to take it off?”he asked, trying to be playful but I wasn’t in the mood for jokes.

“Kade, has your father made you give up your company?”I asked instead. He stared at me with his Hazel eyes and I gulped waiting for his answer.

“I don’t know how you found out about my meeting with my father but…he asked me to take over the company on my own – without Klyde.”He said.

“Klyde wasn’t much of a help before was he?” 

He shook his head and I sighed saying, “I’m sorry.”

“Why? He didn’t say I can’t still run my company.”Kade said, his eyes sparkling when he saw my relief. 

“So this is a good thing right?”I asked and he laughed. 

“Yes it is, the best part is that I get to keep you as my wife.”He said before kissing me.

“I love you Viola,” 

“I love you Kade…you have no idea how thankful I am that you gave me a second chance.”I said, my eyes tearing up. 

“I’m the one who’s thankful that Viola was kind enough to give me a second chance to forgive her and actually have a happy family with her.”He said and I smiled, kissing him passionately as we had sex yet again.

Its been two months since I became sole CEO of my father’s company and CEO of mine. Since then things have been going smoothly, although it was so hard for me to restore Klade cars back to its former glory but I was victorious in the end. 

Viola plans on opening her art museum soon. She hasn’t even had time for me since she started painting. It’s either that or she’s always on the phone with April talking about artworks she’d like to purchase for her museum.

Regardless, we were doing very well as a family and I was very happy about how things turned out. Never in a million years would I have thought that I would be happily married to a woman I forced myself to hate for so many years.

“Kade”Pedro said and I dropped my pen, looking at the brown file in his hand. I took it from him and tore it open and out came photos of Klyde making certain deals with a suspicious looking man at a motel. I also saw pictures of my mother seemingly screaming at someone on the phone. 

“What does this prove?”I asked. 

“Those pictures of Klyde were taken two weeks ago. The man was the one he paid to assassinate Viola. They’ve been harassing him because he didn’t pay the full price. As for your mother, she is on the phone with a reporter – probably to start another scandal about you.” 

“When was her photo taken?” 

“Two days ago” 

“And do you know who she is calling?”

“Jane Parker from blaze TV.” 

“I’ll handle the rest, thank you.”I said and he left my office immediately after.

I took another look at the pictures and decided that I would have to confront my brother and mother about it. Why would they do this? Sure we hated each other but I never thought they would take extreme measures. 

My phone rang and I answered it with a smile since it was Elizabeth.

“Eliza…how are you?”I asked and she giggled. She had since gone back to Vercixe after her husband fell ill.

“I’m alive!”she squealed so loud that I shifted my phone from my ears.

“of course you’re alive don’t be ridiculous.”I said, rubbing my brows as I tried to get rid of the photos on my desk.

“And so is my baby boy.”She said and I froze.

“You’ve given birth?” 

“Yes, yesterday night.”She said excitedly.

“And both you and your son are okay?” 

“Yes Kade! I did it! I knew we could make it,” 

“I’m so happy right now Elizabeth, so damn happy! Congratulations!”I said as a smile formed on my face.

“I already told Viola about it, anyway, I’d like to see both of you at my house okay?” 

“We’ll try. We’re both so busy but we must come see you and your son, as well as your daughters.” 

“Great! See ya!”she said and hung up.

My phone rang immediately after and it was from Viola. 

“Hello?” 

“Damn it Kade where the hell are you? I’ve been waiting for you for an hour and thirty minutes! Why would you make me wait out here in this place for so long?!”she yelled at me over the phone.

“Daisy, I’m here already.”I heard Klyde say in a voice that sounded like mine. My heart started to pound as I wondered if Viola could tell that it wasn’t me.

“Viola! That’s not me, it’s Klyde!”I yelled over the phone but she didn’t hear me. She was currently lashing out at Klyde thinking it was me, fuck! How long would it take her to realize I would never get under her skin like that?

I was dying of anxiety, wondering what Klyde was up to now? If he really did pay assassins to get rid of Viola, then there’s nothing too evil for him to do to her. 

“Pedro!”I roared, he rushed in with surprise in his eyes as he stared at me. 

“Call your brother Mario and his gang, I’m sick of this! I’ll kill him if he touches her! I swear I’ll obliterate him from existence!”I raged on, he smirked knowing exactly who I was talking about because he has been waiting for the day I’d do this. 

I seriously had a very bad feeling about this and God help me for the man I’ll become when I set my eyes on Klyde because in the end only one of us will survive.
