I never knew just how sexy Viola was in bed, she was by far the best woman I’ve ever had but I didn’t say that to her because I didn’t want to think about who the best man she’s ever had could be.

If I said that I wasn’t jealous that Klyde enjoyed all of her before me then I would be the world’s biggest liar. What mattered however was that she now loves me and I will be the only man who will occupy her thoughts from now on.

I smirked at the thought of that as I sat down in my office the next day. It became a full-blown grin when I remembered how many times we had sex yesterday night. We really have been dying to have each other and we finally lost control yesterday. Damn, she knew how to make my eyes roll up in ecstasy as she sucked me. I was already starting to get rock hard just picturing how hot she looked when she did it last night. 

“Shit!”I said and moved to shut my door and I returned back to my seat to deal with my arousal. The thing that turned me on the most about her was her beautiful boobs. I kept picturing them bouncing while I thrust into her and barely a minute in I came, breathing heavily as I got up to clean myself up. 

“Fuck, this girl is gonna be the end of me,”I said when I was all cleaned up and sat to look through the files on my desk. 

I had barely even gone far with my work when I heard a loud knock on my door. It was Pedro, he came inside with a message for me. 

“Yes, what is it?”I said, looking at him directly in the eyes. Only, he couldn’t meet my eyes. I stared at him from head to toe, he was six foot and four inches, huge and had a very intimidating face. Seeing a man like that looking scared was by far too strange for me.

“What has happened now?”I asked and he stuttered as he said.

“My s-sources have reason to believe that Klyde has accused you of breaking your deal with your father. In fact it’s happening right now was we speak. You’ll soon be summoned –”

“– Mr Kade, your father has called for you. It’s urgent.”My secretary said and I glared at her.

“Did your brain malfunction? Why don’t you knock before entering?”I asked and she stammered an incomprehensible word.

“Leave!”I said, feeling irritated that I couldn’t just have one moment to myself where I’m actually free from all family drama.

I got to the Harold’s mansion and stood in front of it as I always do and stared at it before heading for my father’s room where he was being treated. 

When I entered, he was sitting on a wheel chair, sipping something from a cup while Klyde was sitting on the couch in his room. His eyes sparkled with mischief when he saw me, didn’t take a second for him to come to me, throwing his hands over my shoulder and calling me his friend – bullshit.

“My brother is here!”he said with glee but I shoved him off me and stood in front of my father.

“Good afternoon Father,”I said dryly.

“Kade, you never came to see me since I called for you the day I suffered that terrible heart attack” 

“Well my wife suffered wounds from an accident AND an assassination so it’s not my fault.”I said simply.

He dropped his mug on a stool beside him and stared at me, he was shocked. Wow, that’s not a reaction I see from him everyday. 

“Who would dare such a thing?”he asked sounding surprisingly defensive. I scoffed when I figured out why he was being that way. Viola has been the one weapon he had hoped to use to toy with me, if she had died he wouldn’t have been able to tie me down to our deal.

“I don’t know, maybe one of our countless enemies that we now have thanks to Klyde’s incompetence.”

“Father, tell him why he’s here.”Klyde said with a smirk, ignoring my previous statement.

“Well, I’m very sorry about Viola. She is alright I suppose?”my father asked, ignoring Klyde, thus provoking him.

“She is, now why am I here?” 

“Klyde tells me that you and Viola consummated your marriage.”My father said, looking at me critically.

“Yes”I said simply.

“You do know what that means right?” 

“That I’d have to end with immediate effect my current business plans and come back to the family business while working alongside this swine like old times”I said and Klyde scoffed. 

“I see…you are ready for that right?”

“Well, no I’m not ready but I knew exactly what I’d lose if I slept with her. She’s my life and I love her, I’ll bare the risk.”I said, folding my arms while Klyde watched din bewilderment. He probably never thought he would see the day that I would publicly confess my feelings f for Viola. 

“I see…”my father said again and both me and Klyde stared at him.

“A deal is a deal father.”I said and he chuckled.

“Of course, only I will have to beg one favor from you.”

“Seeing how Klyde’s absolutely uselessness is the reason why klade cars have recorded the most embarrassing sales, I cannot allow him be joint CEO with you. You will be the only one to head the company and… you can continue your own business as you already have.” 

“What?! How can you do that? You’re sacking me despite the fact that he is the one at fault?! He broke the agreement dad!”Klyde was raving like a madman but my father paid no heed to him.

“I will get Mr Bentley to bring the papers stating the modification to our deal”

“why would you let me keep my business?” 

“because you have what it takes. The fact that you’ve had the guts to defy the rules of our deal means you’re your own man. I don’t need a puppet, I know you will do what’s best for our family even if it’s not done my way.” 

“Wait, you’re going to give him everything?!”Klyde asked, getting up from the couch and charging towards my father. 

“Sit your ass back down, you’re the reason why he is in in this situation. Now you want to do what? Strangle him to death because he won’t let you finish off a company he struggled to build with his own sweat.”I said grabbing him by the collar. 

“Whose side are you on Kade?”he asked and I scoffed.

“I’m on my side.” 

Klyde released himself from my grip before he glared at our father one last time and turned to leave. 

“You’ve always favored him.”He said, before he opened the door and left. 

My father looked away from me and emptied the contents of the cup in his mouth before he sighed. 

“Please can you help me get in my bed?”He asked. I did as he said, feeling bad for him for the first time.

“I’m sorry that things turned out like this.”He said before he adjusted himself in the bed, exhaling and inhaling slowly. He was tense, probably wondering if he’s done the right thing by giving me sole control over the company. 

“Just go to bed okay? You don’t have to worry about the company. I’m not Klyde,”I said and then he closed his eyes. 

I didn’t exactly hate my father. I just hated that he used me as some sort of puppet and he never let me forget my own path. Instead, every single achievement our company made was credited to him and sometimes even Klyde – that idiot that knows nothing about handling a business. All he’s ever done was sign papers whose content he knew nothing of ! 

Now, he has given me our family business and the freedom to own my own company AND I get to keep my wife. 

With a smile on my face, I left the office and headed straight for my office but I met Klyde and my mother whispering as they stood in front of her room. They stopped and scowled at me but I didn’t have it in me to play their hating game. 

Whatever they were scheming will be an absolute failure.
