Lucien opened his laptop as he entered the room .

Lucia had gone out to get a few things. .

He opened it and went to his mail because that was where the business deals were being made ,

He saw the one from Cara and he opened it .

” Wow Cara just signed a business deal . He cant be more than proud of her . He scrolled down and saw the invite and creased his elbow.

Why had they requested his presence also

Cara was the one who made the deal not him so why this.

He sighed , he had no other choice because he just had to go and it would not be nice if Cara goes alone . It won’t tell good of the company .

He sent her a mail back that he would be coming then and congratulated her for securing the new deal .

He can’t wait to tell Lucia but he hopes she doesn’t get mad that he would be making an impromptu travel tomorrow .

He rubbed his head as he remembered Thelma’s call .

” Hello Lucien , a simple question. Do you love Lucia ” she asked .

Lucien was taken aback by her question but quickly regained himself .

” Yes I do and I really love her .” He replied .

” Ok I see then you should be able to pass a series of test I told her about ” she said and Lucien had raised a brow as he pulled the phone away from his ear before taking it back .

” Test ??” He had asked and Thelma laughed .

” Yes , dont be worried, as long as you love her sincerely , you would definitely pass the test . ” She said and Lucien sighed .

” If you say so , Miss love goddess ” he said in a mocking tone and Thelma chuckled.

” I will call you later , gotta go . Bye ” she said and hung up .

Merely remembering the call , he thought about what the love test about . He hoped he would be able to do it .

They wouldn’t be too impossible , he thought as he gazed back at his computer .

Cara held her chest as she went back to her office .

How did she not know that Patricia worked here .

Is it because she was Lucien’s secretary or because she had poured in all her mind on how to win Lucien . Either if it she doesn’t know but damn she was far behind on what happened in the company it she knew that once she gets married to Lucien, she would head the company and know everything about it .

She smiled to herself at the thought as she sat down , she quickly opened her mail and squealed happily that Lucien had agreed to come with her .

When sending the mail, she had mixed thoughts although she did her best to hide it but seeing he had accepted made her happy .

She was grateful she was the only one occupying the office if not she would have been rushed to a psychiatrist now .

She chuckled at her own thoughts . .

Lucia finished getting a pack of chocolates , a pack of lollipops , a pack of marshmallows and some beverages .

She was about paying when she felt a hand touch her .

” Permit me to pay off the bill pretty one ” the person said and Lucia didn’t need a soothsayer go tell her if was a guy because of the loud and vocal voice he possessed .

She turned back with a small smile as she don’t want to seem rude or snobbish .

Her gaze fell on a tall , dark handsome guy with green eyes and golden hair color. .

Wow he was handsome but not as much as Lucien and she smiled at her thought.

” Wow you also have a lovely smile also ” he said and Lucia smiled .

” Thanks for the compliment ” she said and turned back to the cashier .

Before she could say anything the stranger stretched out his hand and handed the cashier his debit card.

” Here take out my bill and hers ” he said and Lucia shook her head as she returned the black card which she had brought out before .

The cashier calculated the bull and gave him the receipt and Lucia carried her already packed bag and muttered a thank you and walked off .

He shook his head as he followed her at her back .

” Wait up pretty , please ” he said and Lucia felt her anger rise with the way he was following her and calling her pretty .

She turned back and stopped .

” Why the hell are you disturbing me ” she snapped at him as he approached .

” I am so sorry Pretty I ,,,

” Stop calling me that ” she said cutting him short .

” Ok so can I know your name to prevent this mistake from reoccurring ” he said with a smile revealing perfect dentition .

” Not at all . I know you are privileged because only privileged persons are opportuned to use the black card ” he said with a wink that Lucia felt like hitting his head .

What kind of a day was this .

First she heard of a love test and now she met a guy who wouldn’t just let her be.

” What do you want. ” She asked after some silence ..

” A drink with you pretty ” she said and Lucia rolled her eyes.

” The name is Kate ” she said lying.

Well she didn’t even know if her name was Lucia but whatever .

She wasn’t telling this guy her name .

Not now not ever .

” Ok shall we ” he said opening the door of his car and Lucia sneered as she stopped a taxi.

Before he could say anything she hopped in .

He quickly entered his car as he trailed behind the taxi .

Lucia smirked at how foolish he had been and turned back when she felt a car trailing them

” Damn ” she muttered when she realized it was the jerk .
