Chapter 1436

If the kiss with Rosa on the street could be explained, the video would be the ultimatum. It was clear that every move he made was deliberate.

Simona sneered after seeing Stephen's stunned expression. "Sorry for disappointing you, but I'm not stupid."

Stephen was speechless. He could only stare blankly as Simona walked away.

His life had always been smooth sailing; even when some women resented his deception, they never dared to do anything.

All these years, situations like this had only happened once.

Most of the women he dated loved him deeply and they were willing to give anything to him. Even when breaking up, they blamed themselves for not being good enough.

But Simona was different from anyone he had encountered before.

But who had taken those photos? Moreover, the angles of the photos and videos were perfect. They were clearly taken with intention.

How could someone run into an acquaintance in a city as big as Jipsburg so easily?

Back in the small town he grew up in, even while dating several women at the same time, none of them found out.

So, someone must have been stalking him on purpose. But who? Who would be so jealous of him?

As he was struggling to figure it out, a phone call came in.

"Stephen, what the hell is going on? Do you realize what you've done? Your personal actions are now affecting the university!"

Stephen felt his vision darken. "I'll give the university an explanation for this."

After hanging up, he immediately opened the class group chat.

More photos had been uploaded there-ones Simona had just shown him, along with others. Even pictures from his freshman year, when he was involved with an older woman, had surfaced.

That period was a dark chapter in his life, something he never wanted anyone to know about. Yet now, someone had dug up those photos.

Suddenly, it became clear-someone was deliberately trying to ruin him.

Could it be Simona? Did she hate him so much for deceiving her that she hired someone to investigate him?

No. He immediately dismissed the idea. Simona wasn't that type of person.

If she had discovered he was playing multiple women, she would have confronted him directly, as she did today.

It had to be someone else.

Everyone was attacking him now. Although he had tried to claim that the first couple of photos were fake, that excuse no longer worked.

At that moment, he was overwhelmed with anxiety.

After leaving the library, Simona

didn't return to her dorm. She wasn't in the mood to face her roommates, fearing that they might console or question her.

She needed a quiet space to be alone. So, she left campus and took a cab home.

On the way, she checked the class group chat. The gossip about Stephen had exploded in there.

Many people expressed sympathy for her, feeling that she had been deceived ruthlessly.

Her seniors and peers all texted her

to check on her, asking if she was okay. But, she just gave the same

UMS

response to everyone. "I'm fine."

Looking out the car window, she dialed a number. "Aiken, are you coming home for dinner tonight?"
