Martin POV

Getting up from my king-size bed with few calls and my alarm was enough to wake me up on my feet. Not fully up, because I still have my ass on my bed and a smile crept up my lips after remembering how fabulous my night was. Ava!!!! Her name is getting in my head like an addictive drug for drug addicts.

Getting off the bed with my mind still remembering how fantastic she was.

“Damn! She’s 19 for goodness sake, how come she rides so well but she’s not perfect in it? ” I thought, running my hand through my hair.

“Make her perfect in it. ” A thought came to my head and I found myself nodding to it. In a quick and, I find myself rolling my eyes at such thoughts.

“Nada won’t like and tolerate such. ” I mumbled, tying my robe as I stepped inside the bathroom. My phone rang and I passed in seconds. Getting out of the bathroom to have the call,

“What’s up, Skylar? ” I asked, walking back to that bathroom.

“Your helicopter will arrive any minute, you should be ready any time from now. ” He uttered, rushing most of the words, can’t believe I barely heard some of it.

“You should have told me before arranging the helicopter. ” I scolded, dropping my phone on the sink base.

“I’m sorry but the brothers are especially waiting for you. That’s why I had to arrange things before they cancel everything. ” He explained, exhausted was what I could sense he was already.

“Okay, I will be done before the helicopter arrives. ” I uttered, and he ended the call from his side.

Fee minutes After.

I shut my bedroom door behind me, and the young maid at my bedroom entrance followed instantly. On a normal day, I will ask her to stay back at the entrance but I have a short meeting to have with my workers.

Arriving in the living room, always neat and sparkling clean. I sat down on the single chair, crossing my legs instantly. The remaining four maids joined the first, standing in an appropriate line and their heads bowed in front of me.

Cleared my throat;

“Good Morning everyone. ” I greeted them, giving them the respect they deserve.

“Good Morning Sir. ” They said in unison, still having their hands at their backs, and their heads bowed.

“I have another business trip today. My helicopter will be here in a minute and I don’t know when I will return to this place. Because I might stay in my other house as usual. And also, I might return today, it’s under maybe. I don’t know how long it’s going to take, I might go from there to another trip. ” I paused, and I realized I didn’t tell them to raise their heads.

“Heads up! ” My tone goes from a low pitch to a high pitch.

“Where did I stop? ” I mumbled, scratching my head.

“You said-”

“Let’s round things up, cutting this boring meeting short, the house is in your hands. Keep it safe and watch out for one another. ”

(My phone Rings Out)

I stood up and followed.

“Hey man. ” The voice came up, I pulled a weird facial expression after checking my phone screen.

“May I know who I am talking with? ” I asked, getting settled inside my car.

“Thank you for calling, still, may I know who I am talking with? ” I asked, looking desperate. My chauffeur driver drove out of the compound.

“It’s Sophie!!! ” Her voice came so loud, making me scoff.

“I know you didn’t miss me -”

“Sophie! ” I called, sounding surprised.

“Don’t fake that bro, ” She scoffed and cleared her throat.

“Mom said you schedule three days off from work and spend it with your family. ” She whispered. First, I know Sophie can’t keep secrets, so for her to be whispering then, the information isn’t defined yet.

“Did mom say that? ” I ask, taking off the seatbelt as I get out of the car.

“The helicopter is ready. ” One of the escorts said and nodded, following them up as we walked to the path to the helicopter.

“Can I have a better conversation with you later, Sophie? ” I asked and she said hmmm.

“I’m really busy if I did not remember calling you at night. Just drop me a message and I will call back babe. ” I pleaded and she ended the call.

Letting out a breath of relief as the helicopter takes off.

Three hours after.

I walked out of the meeting room and it was nice getting a million-dollar contract with the twins again. I stood in front of the meeting room with other partners and the twins.

“When are you coming here again Martin? Not a business partner but a friend and enjoy more time here, in Los Angeles. ” Samuel asked, with arched brows.

“Man, it’s been a long time since we did this stuff, I’m not gonna lie, I miss those moments but business and offers. Contracts are gonna be two times more than it was before I can get it on track again, it’s going to take a while. ” I explained, hoping they could understand my point of view. I just love taking care of my business with my assistant. Rather than having my assistant do most of it., Some of them understood my point instantly. The twins smiled and nodded in understanding.

“Just keep us updated when you have less work for a week or more. Samuel paused before turning back again. Inform us ahead so we can prepare well.”He talked, winking at me and it made me smile. We all hugged each other again before getting distracted by our prospective assistant. Skylar pulled up in front of me as I stepped out with a few escorts with me.

“How was it? Skylar asked as I opened the door myself. Not minding the paparazzi, my lifestyle is simple. Rumors tend to happen. Just when I was about to step inside the car.

I caught a glimpse of her side face.

“Wait, it’s that not Ava? “I asked, asking no one in particular.

“Ava. Who is Ava? Skylar asked as he also got stopped for getting inside. Closing back the car door. I bravely walk up to her before she enters the big company next to the twins’ own.

“Ava? ” I called, wondering if my guess was right but it was.

“But it looks like she loses lots of weight ”

“Excuse me. You got it wrong. It’s Eva, not Ava. ” She corrected me with a cool smile and I looked like a fool for minutes.

“Is Ava playing pranks now? ” I asked with a whispering voice. Asking no one in particular.

“Ava! I called again. And she ceased instantly.

“Like I said. It’s Eva. Can’t you get that? Eva!!! ” She yelled a little and walked away.

I’m speechless for minutes. I turned around to see why Skylar walked me back to my car as we drove away.

“Ava… Eva!! Is this some kind of joke!! ” I thought. No answers to my thoughts but the thought kept running through…

I’m sorry for late updates. Writers block took a toll on me and my exams was so hot and exhausting all through last month. Hard to force myself to write this because of the comments. I’m not doing it intentionally huh, I’m really sorry for everything. I hope you can understand, being the first born of a family of 4 is just exhausting and I have a lot on my table now. I hope you all understand my point of view.
