Mistake with the Alpha

Now I'm the happiest man in the whole universe. Not can make me sad at this moment. I was with my wife and pup. I had wanted our female pup to have her mother's hair but then Jovita, the name we've decided to call our pup, didn't take her mother's hair. She had decided to pick every one of her resemblance from me. Well I wasn't sad about this. I was even happy that my pup was my copy.

I had suspended everything that would relate to work. Please with the lycans that I needed to see my wife and pup. Well they were quite understanding and decided to stay a few more days after the naming of my pup.

I could hear her heart beating fast. She was scared but she was trying to hide it. This is the thing I was avoiding. But then that devil of a girl told her.

"I don't care. I'll protect you with all my life. You don't need to be afraid to live your normal life. I'm always there for you at any time" I assured her. She nodded and smiled. Then there was a knock followed by Sally's voice.

"Alpha" she called.

"Come in Sally" I said.

Sally and Sam exchanged pleasantries. And then she told me she had something to tell me. I read in her mind that it was very important. I quickly mind linked Ethan to come stay with Sam.

"I'll go with Jovita, you just take a nap" I said to my mate.

"I'm just suggesting. What if we employ the help of the other lycans. The lycan army is so great and they are more powerful. You are one of them, they should be willing to help us" she said.

I know what she said was making sense. I couldn't risk the life of my people. But then I don't know if the lycans will be ready to risk their life just for us. Lycans are very protective of their own.

"You are right but then I don't know if the lycan King would want to release his people and again I'm scared to tell them about Sam's situation. I don't know if they would want to covet her heart for powers" I said. That was my utmost fear. I didn't want to get involved with people I don't trust and later regret my actions. As if the little pup I held felt my fears, little Jovita moved. I then coerced her slowly.

"I do understand you Alpha. But then, only few people don't know about this blue wolf's heart. Let them help us fight this war. While we keep our eyes on Luna. That's how we would be able to keep her safe" Sally said.

With what she said I know I need to make a quick try to the lycan King. He's the one who would give me what I want. Well he has never refused me anything but then I've never asked him for something this big. I'll have to try my best. "How much time do we have?" I asked Sally.

She shook her head.

"I don't know Alpha but all I know is that it's very close. Extremely close" she replied.

With my vampire speed, it won't take me an hour to get to the lycan King's palace. Now Sam should be sleeping and Ethan is definitely with her.

I gave the little pup with me to Sally.

"I'll be right back," I said to her.

This made me speed off. I didn't even bother to tell anyone where I was heading, not even my subordinates. I just went on my own. I know I'll be faster if I travel alone.

Diana's POV

We were so ready. Omar and I have happened to gather over eight pack allies who have large numbers of warriors and are very fierce. No, they had gathered like an army waiting for me to give them orders.

"Warriors, we are heading for the Sunclad pack to get what is our right. But you all know that the pack is very strong and their Alpha is very strong. We too have to get stronger.
