Eve’s POV

Last night, after Mr Maya informed us that he was gonna travel today; I was so excited.. I don’t get why Robert and Helen were too. Well.. who wouldn’t be happy that he’s leaving?

Even last night, the old fool still wanted me to be with over the night which I of course defended myself then it led to him waking up very late the next morning and leaving late.

Well… He’s gone now and we are so free.

“Yes… Yes!” Robert ran back inside the house immediately he saw drove off.

“Finally!” Helen and I rejoiced with a High ~ Ten.

We’ve almost forgotten that Mark was here..

“Why are you guys so excited?” He asked, folding his hand.

“Uhm, you have my own reasons” I murmured, moving away.

“What about you Helen?” He said, facing her and scoffed, giggled in a weird way then stylishly moved away.

“Robert?” Mark faced him.

“I thought you are on our side now, why are you acting bossy now?” Robert grumbled and Mark laughed hysterically.

“You always scared Robert… come on. Yeah, I’m still on your side but he is still my father. Anyways, his absence rings a very good bell of freedom for you all”Mark said.

“Exactly and it’s not like I can’t do what I wanna do in his presence but travelling feels more better” Helen added.

We didn’t stop jublilating after he has left.

Wait a minute! I’m just so glad forgetting that I can’t go visit Liam without a proper excuse ~like a permission from Robert and Helen.

Just when I started ranking my head and thinking of what lie to tell..

“I….” Robert and Helen spoke at the same time.

“Huh..” I glared at them.

“You go first” Robert told Helen… who cleared her throat and stood at her attention.

“You know guys.. I’ve always been at home, bored and lonely as if I’m bethroned to loneliness” Helen resumed.

“I was gonna say the exact same thing” Robert added.

I stood there, glaring at them … listening to whatever she was trying to say.

“Okay so I’m going out today” Helen said.

“Same here” Robert said too.

I smiled.. ” Fine I’m glad you guys are stepping out. why on earth should I stop you guys? but the ittybitty problem now is that, will I be the only one at home? ”

“Practically, Yes” Helen replied…”Besides, you’ve got a boyfriend.. and…”

“Eve has a boyfriend? Other than Mr Maya!” Robert exclaimed.

“She does. I personally encourager her to date someone yet I’m don’t know who the lucky guy is, Mr Maya’s rival” Helen said..

“Shii.. shii.. Alright.. just go already before you’ld talk more and make jest of my complicated love life” I retorted and they chuckled.

Just when she turned to go up the stairs, I asked; “But where are you guys going?” I asked.

“My boyfriend…”

“…. a girl I like..”

Robert and Helen said at the same time again.

“What?” The three of us exclaimed.

“Uhmm… Eve I thought since you were keeping your relationship a secret, I should too” Helen said to me and I opened my mouth in a awe as my eyes widened.

“As for me, I wasn’t hiding anything from you or anyone. I just made up my mind to tell you two today. And I’m not in a relationship yet; but there’s this girl I like and we couldn’t just get along because of my always indoor occupation… So I want to make it up to her today” Robert said.

Helen and I stared at him like his big elder sisters.

“You… Helen!” I turned to her.

“Uhm me?” She muttered.

“Yes, you! ”

“There’s really nothing much to talk about. We recently started dating .. Although I met this guy while I stayed at the quarters; then when I came here, our relationship moved on to an online one but I do see him whenever I go to the store to fill the kitchen or at times, I just have to lie that I’m visiting the store” She said.

“Wow, wow.. wow..” I interjected ~ clapping my hands.

“And you’ll meet mine when I meet yours” Helen said, smiling.

“You both well definitely meet mine when she’s mine” Robert added.

“Okay now I see that; I am not the only one in a secret relationship afterall” I remarked.

“I’ll go get dressed now..” Helen said and rushed to her room.

“Will you stay at home all through; pretty please or there would be no one to watch over the house. Gosh! This big place best needs guards here and there” Robert said..”Please Eve, do my work for just today; I’ll return in few hours” He pleaded, holding my hand.

“Uhn..” I actually thought I could also sneak out down to Liam’s.

“Okay.. Okay” I told him and he was so glad, as he scurried out of the house.

Robert and Helen went out.

I have the house now to myself.. so bored and oops… I haven’t spoken to Liam this morning.

Yes! He’s calling..

~”Hello love” He said to me.

~”Your father has travelled” Was what first thing I said.

~”What? He didn’t inform me of any business meeting, neither did I receive any message that the CEO presence is needed” Liam said.

~ “Uhn.. I don’t think it’s business related. Your father is just so secretive, weird these days. He’s annoying too” I said… sighed and quickly added; “I’m sorry, I insulted your Dad”

I heard him scoffed and asked; “How are you anyways?”

~”Bored like crazy. Helen and Robert are out also.. oops! That supposed to be a secret. Your brother too is with his clingy lover.. everyone is with their lovers. I can’t even come to your place because I promised Robert to stay at home till he is back” I rushed my words tiredly

~”Ah! I’m so bored also; and working on my laptop makes me more bored.

~”That sadly makes us two bored and seperated lovers” I said and he laughed..

~”I’ll come over” He said.

~”Over here?”

~”Yup. Just two of us” He said.

~”Oh My God… That sounds so great. Mind you, we aren’t going out” I told him.. remembering that he once told me that we haven’t gone on a proper date. Liam loves outings! He loves catching fun.

~”And that means, we are gonna swim. Don’t worry; you won’t drown ‘cos I’ll teach you how to” Liam said.

~”Teach me? You want us to swim in the pool Liam?”

~”Yup. Because aside watching a movie or listening to music, talking and being alone;… Swimming is the only fun to catch over there ” He said.

“Gosh! I can’t wait..” I exclaimed.

“Aren’t you supposed to be scared? You can’t swim remember? You wouldn’t even come near the pool the last time”

“And that’s because we were still… Uhm new to eachother. I can swim Liam… besides, back then it seemed strange to be in the pool with you..” I said..

“Oh now it feels even better to be in the pool together and alone.. ”

Exactly! Afterall, we’ve even done something more crazy than that.

“Be expecting me very soon” He said… “Bye love”

He hung the call.
