I just finished speaking with Liam over the phone, it’s funny how he makes me feel like a woman. Yeah, I’m his woman anyways.

It was Helen who forced me to leave my room and must be with her down the stairs. She said ‘My whosoever secret lover is gradually and stylishly separating me away from she and Robert ‘.. my first friends in this place, she claims. Right though.

“Well.. I can threaten him to sponsor my education into a college if I want but no just yet, because living a wealthy chef life has taken over me” She said and I chuckled.

“She quitted? Why?” I exclaimed..

“Well she’s not like forever leaving; her husband traveled down to an old town. So she has to stay at home to care of her kids” Helen explained.

“Oh, just when I thought we could get pretty close again this weekend. Is she aware of Mr Maya’s ill attitude… towards just me?” I asked.

“Yeah I did. Gosh! I wish you were at home during the time she was around” She remarked.

“What do she suggest I do? What did I miss?” I asked.

“Nothing really much. Madam Theresa says she knows that you’ld scape through just like you are not making him have his way. You don’t have to worry Eve, I’ve got your back with whatever decision you make” Helen said and I nodded slowly.

I need solutions not only because he changed towards me just after I signed the marriage contract. But because I wanna break the marriage, set myself free and start a better life with his son. This sounds somehow wrong in the natural statement.

I sighed and didn’t want to bother myself over it ~ yet or not again.

“How is Liam?” Helen suddenly asked me.

“What?” Did she read my mind or she already know about our relationship… being a love detector.

“I don’t really know why I suck at, checking up on people I’ve lost contact with” She said.

“Ah! That’s bad!”

“Gosh, I need to change. Liam is too. He didn’t even call on me to cook his meal or anything at all. I guess he’ld have no choice than to get used to eating out” Helen giggled. I did too..

“Has he moved on? I mean the whole Clara issue”

“Hmmn yeah” I said, trying not to smile too much, so she won’t suspect anything.

“That.. that’s so fast. I hope this one has come to stay forever” She said..

“Yeah..” I bit my lips slowly.

We suddenly heard someone drove into the compound.

“Is it time for Mr Maya’s arrival already?”

We rushed to the window to see who it was..

It was Mr Maya, Robert had just opened the gate for him. He was wearing a stern look and I wondered what the outcome of his meeting with Mrs Pitt was all about.

“I hope he is not gonna vent his anger on anyone of us” Helen said as me quickly left the window.

“Have you cooked?”

“There’s food in the fridge to put in a microwave” She responded.. then Mr Maya finally stumbled in.

“Welcome” We greeted him at the same time. Surprisingly that mean look he was wearing earlier reversed to a normal facial expression.

“Eve” He mentioned only my name and Helen smirked.

Mark and Robert came in also.

“I was just about to call you two in also” He said.

“What is it?”

“Uhm, I’ld be traveling tomorrow” Mr Maya said.

“What? And I might be back soon… most likely after the weekend. I just need to settle something. … business matters” He stamered.
