Eve’s POV

I finished up with all what I have to do and before anyone could bring more work for me to do, I quickily went into Liam’s office. Yeah I needed this private break.

“Just when I was thinking of fetching you” Liam said when I came closer. He closed his laptop, stood up from his seat and sat on the table after I dropped the files.

“I guess it’s more better if you come here first before you commence any work” He said touching my jaw..

“What difference does it make?” I asked him.

I shook my head : “No” I muttered.

“Perhaps, we could flee together” He said and I giggled and said.. “No one is running away Okay?” I told him.

“You were the one who invocated into me that everything would be fine between us, not withstanding background circumstances we are currently facing. I can’t believe you are the one being scared and saying this” I said and rolled my eyes.

“I told you I love really hard, didn’t I?” He added and I simpered and said; “You better button up your shirt and put on your tie”

Then I walked out of his office but somehow, I could feel him staring at him.
