Love Beyond Control

At the hospital, Ella slowly opened her eyes and looked around. Her face showed that she didn’t know where she was. Her eyes were very white as though she had no blood running through her veins. She was so weak that the couple sitting next to her couldn’t even hear her breathing. Mrs. Sam who was discussing with her husband suddenly turned and looked at Ella and their eyes met. The lady shouted in joy and stood up.

“My dear you are finally up.”

Immediately she shouted, her husband looked at Ella and rushed out to get the doctor. He ran into the doctor outside and told her the good news. The doctor followed him in and after observing Ella, she sighed and turned to Mrs. Sam.

“Please give her something to eat and regain her strength. When she is done eating, let her sleep so she can rest.”

Mrs. Sam nodded in satisfaction, turned to the Thermos and opened it. She took out enough soup and put it into a bowl. After dishing out the soup, she brought her chair closer to Ella’s bed and fed her gently. After drinking enough of it, Ella smiled as if she wanted to cry before thanking the couple in a very weak voice.

“Thank you for the food.”

“You shouldn’t be thanking me my dear. This is the only opportunity my husband and I have ever had to feed a child, it made us feel like parents for the first time and we are so happy about it.” Mrs. Sam said as tears welled up in her eyes but she tried all she could to suppress them.

With a very weak voice, Ella told them.

“No one has ever fed me either. So I’m grateful.”

Mr. Sam, who was sitting at the other side of the bed, nodded and handed Ella a glass of water. She drank the water and Sam helped her to lie back on the bed.

Shortly after she laid on the bed, she closed her eyes and slept off. Mrs. Sam stretched out her hand and coaxed her hair passionately.

Back in the company, Elion was busy with work when someone knocked on the door.

He frowned lightly before he asked the person to come in.

“Come in.”

His personal assistant walked in with a pile of documents in his hands. After dropping them in order on the table in front of Elion, he coughed lightly before he spoke to him.

“Young Master, the conference is in eight minutes.”

“What about what I asked you to do?” Elion asked with eyes still focused on the laptop in front of him. Henry adjusted his black suit as if he was trying to get what he was talking about. After being unable to understand Elion, he fearfully took a step backward before asking him what he meant.

“Young Master, you have given me a lot of assignments…”

“If you are tired of doing your job you back off.” Elion’s cold voice was low but very domineering

“I’m not tired, Young Master.” Henry quickly replied before he continued fearfully.

“I was just trying to say that I don’t know the one you…”

“It’s your job to get it all done.” Elion said with a lot of emphasis.

“I’m sorry Young Master ElionI will…”

“The lady who was supposed to be carrying my child was supposed to be three months pregnant already…”

Henry immediately froze as soon as he heard his boss. He realised what he was referring to.

“Young Master Elion, everything was already arranged but Old Master Elion came up with the issue of marriage and interrupted our plans.”

“Do you take orders from me or him?”

“From you sir. But…”

“Get out.” Elion finally lifted his eyes and shot a warning stare at Henry who was about to say something but after seeing the anger in Elion’s eyes, he closed his mouth and turned to walk out. Before he could reach the door, he could feel daggers being shot on his back. Just when he was about to open the door, a cold voice sounded behind me.

“You have 5 minutes.”

Henry turned and looked at Elion with pleading eyes and tried to explain.

“Young Master Elion…”

“4 minutes 52 seconds left.” Elion said while looking at Henry without blinking and Henry had no choice and so, he turned and ran out.

Elion Copper stood up and walked towards the glass wall and was lost in the beautiful view of the city.

Elion Copper was a very handsome man of 32 years old. He was about 1. 9m tall and had no wrinkles on his face. He was charismatic, elegant, a big shot and every lady’s dream man. He was a man who thought being with one lady for the rest of his life was a kind of imprisonment. He was a playboy who had never dated a lady for more than two weeks

His father had forced him to get married and he never wanted to be married because he couldn’t bear living with the same woman for the rest of his life. He believed that all ladies were full of schemes, and so, he would always make sure to personally observe any lady he has been with to take contraceptive pills.

According to him, he was ready to be a father but didn’t like the woman who will bear his child to know the identity of her child’s father because he believed that if any lady knew that he was her baby’s daddy, she would use the baby to always be around him. So in order to solve this puzzle, he decided to get a child through surrogacy.

The next morning, Ella was sitting on the hospital bed discussing the old couple. She told them her name and where she lived. While they were still discussing, the doctor came in and gave the bill to Mr. Sam immediately went out to settle it. Ella stood up and went out of the ward followed by Mrs. Sam

Elion was sitting on his wheelchair in front of the old house while Henry was standing beside him. They heard footsteps and turned to the direction of the steps only to see the pale Ella coming in. Elion frowned and looked like a vampire that was soon to suck on its prey.

Ella suddenly stopped when she saw them. She realised that they must have spent the night outside since she was with the key in the hospital the whole night. Seeing how angry they were, fear caught her heart and she grabbed the hem of her gown and walked up to them.

As soon as she stood before them she knelt to explain but Elion’s mocking voice hit her like a bullet.

“The prostitute is finally coming back home after hooking up with men for the whole day and night…”

Before she could finish her sentence, Elion slapped her so hard that she immediately went on conscious and fell down the hard stairs. After she fell, she laid there as though she was dead.

Henry quickly checked her breathing and told Elion that she was dead.
