Love Beyond Control

Ella was rushed to the hospital by an old couple who were in their late 40s and early 50s but since they lived in very poor living conditions, they looked older than their ages. The couple were on their way back from the Market when they saw the poor girl lying unconscious on the ground. Her face was very pale and she looked malnourished. After she was rushed to the hospital, the doctors quickly rushed her into the emergency room and after a while, they finally managed to handle the situation and she was finally transferred to another bed and pushed out of the emergency room.

When they pushed her out of the emergency room, they were greeted with the anxious looks of the old couple and the doctor immediately comforted them.

“Don’t worry your daughter will be alright soon. You know she has chronic gastritis yet you let her go without food for long. Please take good care of her and make sure she eats well in the future.”

The couple looked at each other as if they wanted to say something but didn’t say anything.

The doctor sighed and continued

“Get a form at the receptionist and fill in your daughter’s information…”

“Actually doctor, my wife and I were on our way back from the market when we ran into her unconscious body on the ground. We barely know her but she seemed to be from the same neighbourhood as us.”

“Oh!” The doctor exclaimed with so much surprise on her face before walking away.

When she was finally pushed into the ward, the doctor sent a nurse to get the old couple standing outside.

“You can get the couple to come see her.”

“Right away doctor.” Said the nurse as she hurried out.

Few seconds after she went out, the nurse came in with the couple following her.

The doctor looked at the old couple and said helplessly.

“Can you help inform her family…”

“By the way doctor, I am Sam and here is my wife…”

“Oh! my bad. I didn’t bother to find out.” Apologized the doctor frankly.

“It’s alright doctor, the most important thing is that the young lady is recovering. Doctor, we have never seen her before but we think she lives in my neighbourhood even though we don’t know where exactly.”

“My husband is right doctor. We can only accompany her till she recovers and gives us her information so we inform her family.”

“That’s right. Pay attention to her. She will recover in a few hours. Please try to get her a nutritional meal. If possible, soup so she can drink as soon as she wakes up.” The doctor advised as she adjusted her lab jacket and went out followed by the nurses.

Mrs. Sam walked up to Ella and gently rubbed her hair. Her face was still very pale and just by looking at her, one could tell that she’s lonely and depressed.

After Mrs. Sam was done looking at the pale lady, she sighed and turned to her husband.

“You should look after her while I hurry home and prepare her some food.”

“Please hurry up.” Said Sam as his eyes turned red and he walked up to Ella and stood beside her bed.

“If she wakes up and she’s willing, we should take her in as our daughter. What do you think?”

“We can’t do that because she obviously has a family. We are just helping out someone in need not because we want anything in return.” Mrs. Sam told her husband and hurried out of the door and gently closed the door as if she was scared of waking her up.

Sam was quietly sitting on a chair beside Ella and his eyes were fixed on her.

Meanwhile back in Elion Copper’s Company, Young Master Elion was on the phone with a lady. The lady seemed to be angry with Elion because she heard that Elion Arthur had a new lady.

“Please you can’t dumb me for another lady Elion. I’ve been very faithful and patient with you can’t you see…”

“Mai, I will never be with the same lady for more than two weeks. You clearly went through the dating contract before signing it two weeks ago…”

“I signed it because I knew when you get to be with me for two weeks, you will not stop liking me…”

“There’s no need to stop liking you be…”

“Elion stop giving me such expensive jokes. I almost got a heart attack. I knew you won’t stop liking me…”

“That’s enough.” Roared Elion

“I won’t stop liking you because I’ve never liked you in the first place.”

“What! You are so heartless Elion. Please tell me you are just pulling my legs.” Mai sounded as though her whole world had crumbled.

“The relationship ended yesterday and I have already gotten a new lady so get lost.”

The lady on the phone couldn’t hold back her tears anymore.

“Elion I might be carrying your child…”

“No woman is permitted to carry my child. I personally supervised and ensured that all ladies that crosses my path take aftermath pills and you aren’t an exception.”

“Elion, my dad is one of the shareholder in your company, if you break up with me, I will ask my dad to remove all his shares from your company.”Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

Mai continued to rant at the other end of the phone while Elion got his other phone and placed a call through to Mai’s father.

He was in a meeting but as soon as he saw Elion Copper’s call, he immediately stood up in fear and excused himself and answered the call fearfully.

Before he could even say hello, Elion interrupted him.

“Your daughter has a word of advice for you.”

The two phones were on his ears. One on the right ear while the other was on the left ear and he brought the one in which he was on call with Mai’s dad closer to the phone in which he was discussing with Mai and with a cold voice, he spoke mercilessly.

“Your dad is listening so you can give him the advice directly.”

After saying that, Elion held the phones in such a way that the two people on the different phones could hear each other.

“You are such a jerk Elion.” Mai spat in disappointment.

On the other phone, one could hear the panic in Mai’s father’s voice.

“Mai, are you out of your mind? If anything happens to my company I will kill you and your useless mother.”

Mai, who thought Elion was joking, suddenly shut up when she heard her father’s voice.

Her dad was trying to beg Elion Copper when he suddenly coughed out mercilessly.

“Get lost.” Elion spat the two words mercilessly and dropped the calls.

After Mai heard the beep sound which indicated that the person on the phone had just dropped the call, she became so angry. She dashed her phone against the hard floor scattering the screen. As if she wasn’t satisfied, she dragged the quilt from the bed and threw it on the floor. She opened the wardrobe and removed all her dresses and threw them on the floor. She yelled at the top of her voice and fell on the floor.
