The teary Liza asked again hoping it was a prank but Ella’s answer made her more angrier.

“Elion, you are what?”

“Married Liza. He is married and guess what, you are the third wheel in his marriage. And you should stop addressing him with his first name because you are not his wife.” Seeing Ella talking about their marriage with so much pride, Elion became very happy because to him, he thought Ella was jealous so he knew he was one step closer to making her fall for him.

The atmosphere in the room was very tense and Elion sat on his seat as if the man the two ladies were fusing over wasn’t him.

“Why is Liza mad as if she has been cheated upon? Were you two in a relationship, Elion? Being at a tight corner, Elion took a deep breath and spoke indifferently.

Ella smiled victoriously then turned to everyone and greeted them again drawing their attention towards her. Liza, who was engraved in anger and embarrassment, suddenly stood and was about to leave but Raisa pinned her back to her seat and reminded her again.

“I will be saying this for the very last time. No one dare not walk out on my boss. Liza, you have been enjoying the benefits of Lady Elion but not anymore and if you dare shake from this seat again, I will definitely reveal all your little secrets.’

Ella smiled and continued. “Please let’s keep aside personal matters and discuss the realisation of our project. So, we need about 10 hectares of land and Mr/Mrs Madison will be giving us one of their lands which is located in Town A.”

The Madisons including Henry and Elion were very shocked at how brave Ella was. The Madisons were not aware of the fact that the lady they were scared of was Ella. Mrs Madison was trying to explain but the indifferent and domineering words of Ella left everyone stunned and Elion felt so satisfied.

“Ma’am, we aren’t selling the land…”

“Neither did I say we were going to purchase the land.” Reasonded Ella.

“But ma’am, you said we were going to…”

“Give the land as a ransom for all the bad things you did to me.” Raisa responded with so much anger and resentment and everyone became shocked and waited earnestly for an explanation.

“Young lady, are you mad? Are you losing your mind? What do you mean by we give out a piece of land worth $1. 5 billion for the bad things we did to you in the past?” Mr. Madison, who had been looking for a scapegoat to transfer aggression suddenly burst out in a rage and Elion relaxed on his comfortable seat as he enjoyed the way things were unfolding.

Walking towards Mr/Mrs Madison, Raisa looked at them eyeball to eyeball and responded. “Mr. Madison sir, I won’t be telling you all the bad things you did but will rather tell you a little secret of mine. Do you want to know the secret?”

“What type of a question is that? What secret do you have that it’s worth a piece of land worth $1. 5 billion? We are ready to hear your secret and you can equally tell us all the bad things you say we did to you. For crying out loud, we don’t even know you.” Mrs. Madison burst out angrily and she was so agitated to a point that she almost slapped the living daylight out of Raisa.

“Have you ever heard that what you don’t know will definitely destroy you?” Ella asked with a cheerful smile.

“I have heard that time and again but unfortunately for you, I don’t believe in that statement nor do my family.” Mr. Madison said and looked at Elion as though he was asking for help but Elion said nothing and his eyes were fixed on Ella all along.

“Mr/Mrs Madison and their dearest precious spoiled little brat called Maya, long time no see. For all your information, I am your greatest nightmare and the very reason why you all will be going down from grace to grass like King Nebuchadnezzar.” Raisa said victoriously and stood at the opposite side of the round table and she was standing directly face to face with Mr/Mrs. Madison. “Look at me very well. Do you two remember this face?”

“What type of a question is that? It’s obvious you have nothing against my parents but just want to intimidate us so you can take over our land. Aren’t you supposed to be this Miss’ PA? What has the new project got to do with you?”

Maya defended her parents like her life depended on that piece of land and Raisa laughed out and told them it was all a prank and the tense atmosphere suddenly became a joyful one but when they least expected, Raisa’s next words were like a stray bullet aimed at everyone.

“It was all a joke Mr/Mrs Madison. We just want to be sure that we are not working with people with dark secrets.”

Everyone burst out laughing except Elion who just smiled in amazement.

“Where did you learn how to intimidate people so well ma’am.?” Maya asked Ella as if they were already friends.

“I learned it from my husband.” replied Ella coldly.

“Unfortunately, it wasn’t a joke.” Raisa said with a more serious tone and with an indifferent face leaving everyone stunned again but Elion seemed very satisfied with all the drama.

“Mr/Mrs Madison, let me tell you my little secret. I am Ella’s twin Sister.”
