Love Beyond Control

“Ella had no twin sister…” Mrs. Madison was trying to explain when Elion stood and everyone thought he wanted to bring an end to the drama but unfortunately, he stood and walked out while passing a warning just to cover his excitement.

“When you all are ready for the meeting, you reschedule it for another day.” He turned to Ella and ordered in the most gentle manner ever. “Meet me in my office.”

As soon as he walked out, Ella followed him followed by Henry, Liza and Raisa but as soon as the got to the door leading into the President’s office, Ella entered and Liza was about to enter when Raisa dragged her back while informing her that she isn’t supposed to interrupt the meeting inside.

“Liza you can’t go in.” Raisa warned with a frown.

“Why can’t I go in? Do you know who I am?” Liza was asking so many questions at the same time and Raisa was looking at her with no emotions and when she was done, Raisa took time to lecture her.

“So who are you? Please can you do me a favour to remind me? Are you the mysterious Lady Elion…?”

Hearing the words Lady Elion, Liza became more aggressive but she was nothing compared to Raisa who had undergone martial arts training.

“Listen to me young lady, you met me just today so don’t act like you know me.” Liza said trying to be bold but Raisa’s next words almost pushed her to the ground.

“I’ve been watching you for the past three years. My eyes are always on you.” Raisa sadly with an overbearing tone.

“What? Have you been stalking me?” Asked Liza with mixed emotions.

“Not stalking you but making sure you don’t hurt innocent people because of your unrequited love. Now leave.” Ignoring Liza’s angry state, Raisa ordered.

“I can’t go anywhere, Elion has a lot of things to explain to me.” Liza said with assurance but Raisa’s response made her more angry.

“You think he owes you apologies for not getting married to you or explanations for getting married behind your back? Now let me ask you, have you two ever been into a relationship? Were you two in any relationship when he got married? So why do you think he owes you apologies or explanations? If I were you, I would get lost, if not, I would break your bones right now. Raisa threatened with an indifferent expression.

Inside the office, Elion couldn’t stop admiring Ella and couldn’t help but ask her so many questions with a lot of tenderness and affection. “When did you learn to be so professional?”

“Raisa taught me, sir.” Ella responded in fear almost like she used to do before today which made Elion slidely angry.

“Why are you acting like the old Ella all of a sudden? You act bold in front of others but when we are together, you become someone else. You were calling me by name Ella, why switch to calling me sir?” Elion complained very calmly although he was angry.

“With all due respect Sir, You are still my boss…” Ella was still talking when Elion interrupted her.

“Your husband and not your boss.”

Elion corrected her while swallowing his spit. He has been craving for her pink lips since the moment she walked into the meeting room and not minding that Henry and Raisa were present, Elion suddenly closed up the gap between him and Ella tried to avoid him by walking backwards only to realise that her back was against the wall and she had no choice than to leave but Elion dragged her back to the same spot and pin her to the wall. She tried saying something but her words were forced back into her throat as Elion sealed her lips with his lips. He kissed her as if his life depended on it and Henry and Raisa laughed at the two of them silently as they left the office so they could give them some space.

Ella was very shy and angry at him for kissing her in front of everyone. She tried pushing him away but he forcefully kissed her again. Her lips were so soft that after testing them, Elion felt like swallowing her. When she finally broke free from the long french kiss, she tried begging him to stop but was interrupted by Elion in the most romantic voice ever.

“Please sir…”

Ella was about talking but Elion looked into her eyes lustfully as he warned her.

“If you call me sir again, I will take you to bed and teach you a lesson.”

Amanda was in the kitchen cooking when her phone rang. She saw the caller ID and it was her sister and she immediately answered the call. “Hello big sis”

“Amanda my dear, how are you doing?” Asked Angela.

“I am fine sister, hope you are doing well? Replied Amanda.

“My dear Amanda, I am fine and I am happy you are married to a good man. I keep thanking God for giving us Tony.”

Listening to his sister’s words, Amanda almost cried.

“We thank God for him sister. From your voice, you don’t sound ok. Are you alright?”

“Don’t bother my dear, I am fine.” Angela said with a weak voice.

“No, you are not fine. Can you just tell me what the problem is?” Asked Amanda with so much concern.

“I’m still at the hospital, my stomach issue is becoming worse everyday. The doctor says I need urgent surgery.” Angela explained in tears.

“What? God, how much are we talking about?” Amanda asked in tears and Angela tried suppressing her cry before responding. “It will cost $20, 000”

“Where does the doctor expect us to get that kind of money from?” Amanda asked in tears.

“Please Amanda, you have to save me. I have just three weeks to live if the surgery isn’t done as soon as possible.” Said Angela

“What I’m I going to do now? Where do I go for help?” Asked Amanda.

“What kind of questions are that? Go to Tony of course.” Said Angela.

“We have taken a lot of money from him already. I’m ashamed of myself, I feel as though I am draining him financially.” Amanda tried explaining but Angela became very angry.

“What did you just say? We are talking about my life here, the life of your only existing family member and you are busy talking about your dignity. Find, soothe yourself Amanda, but let me make this clear to you, when I die, don’t come and don’t bury me. Let my remains be eaten by dogs.”

Angela spoke and hung up as though Amanda said something wrong to her and Amanda sat on the kitchen floor and cried her eyes out as she spoke to herself as if she was talking to her sister. “Sister, I didn’t say I will not meet Tony okay, I was just saying that Tony uses it to insult me all the time. Please just understand me sister.”

Tony and Berri were playing their hanky panky on the sofa while Amanda was busy setting the table for launch and Tony continued without minding the fact that Amanda was hurt.

“My fine lady.” Tony called out with so much affection and Berri was laughing and talking like a spoiled little bride.

“Baby, please let me be, you are tickling me so hard, do you want me to have a miscarriage?

Amanda was so shocked that she questioned Berri unconsciously.

“Miss what?” Amanda was shocked with the realisation that Berri was pregnant for her husband.
