“TriSec, what are you munching on?” Aqua’s voice cut through the chaos, her

eyebrows raised in confusion. While the rest were gearing up for the decisive

battle, here he was, snacking away?

“Ha, just fueling up!” TriSec flashed a grin, trying to hide the nerves under his

bravado. “I’m about to lead the charge, so I need all the energy I can get!!

Can’t afford to falter now!”

Aqua’s usual lightheartedness was replaced with a serious gaze as she

patted his shoulder. “TriSec, promise me you won’t be reckless. Freedom’s

vital, but so is your life.”

“Seriously? An emotional speech now?” He chuckled, touched despite himself.

He swatted her hand away, trying to brush off the gravity of her words. “Against these minor league Airspace Group goons, I can handle them

without–breaking a sweat. Life or death? No sweat.”

“Right, right. Good luck!” Aqua gave him a final encouraging nod before

walking away.

“Fall in!” Vachon’s commanding voice cut through the noise, rallying the

remaining two thousand troops into formation.

TriSec gulped down the last bite of his food and sprinted to join the ranks.

“TriSec, ready?” Quell’s voice was tight with concern, her eyes scanning his face. She trusted him implicitly, having stood by her side for years, but this

mission was perilous.

“Ha! I was ready the moment I stepped up!” He gave Quell a confident smile,

his gaze locked on hers. To him, she was the bright star in a dark sky. While life on the Dark Night Islands had hardened him, his only wish was to remain by Quell’s side. But since she was leaving, he’d risk everything to support the

Alliance.

“Then, let’s…attack!!” Quell didn’t notice the subtle expression on TriSec’s face. While having learned from Emmanuel, she knew that in battle, mercy and pity were luxuries they couldn’t afford. Aggression and bravery were their

only allies.

“Attack! Attack! Attack!” The roar of two thousand soldiers surged forward!!

“Charge!” TriSec led the charge, his horse galloping fiercely toward the

northern base’s gate.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

As they approached, enemy bullets flared once more! With his S–rank martiall

arts and Taoist techniques, TriSec nimbly dodged the hail of bullets, closing in

to a mere 200 meters from the gate!

180 meters… 160 meters… and closer, but no one knew what he was planning!

The Airspace Group, behind the fortified gate, barely noticed his advance. They were confident that the gate, identical to the southern base’s, would

hold.

100 meters… 80 meters!

TriSec’s eyes were locked on the gate, determination blazing. Suddenly, a

bullet struck him, sending a spray of red blood into the air!

But he didn’t fall. Instead, he howled in pain, “Solana! Fire on me!!”

The battlefield froze in shock!

Solana, trailing behind, was momentarily paralyzed by the unexpected

command!

“Quick! Our mission depends on this!” TriSec roared, his body riddled with

wounds. He continued to perform Taoist techniques, unleashing fiery blasts

from his mouth.

It was a scene of tragic heroism!

“Ahh!!” Solana’s realization hit her like a thunderclap. She unleashed her full

firepower, blasting TriSec as he drew the enemy’s focus.

“Heh… well done!”

TriSec’s horse collapsed, sending him hurtling towards the gate, engulfed in

flames. With his last breath, he declared, “Quell, I love you!!”

In the confined space, the inferno roared, fueled by sulfur and his own body.

TriSec’s final act was a massive, thunderous explosion that shook the very

earth.
