Giving it a try...It meant Ethan Mo knew it was a long shot.

Wei Xu frowned and asked.

“Why don’t you just go and ask Belle Ye? It’ more effective.”

Ethan loved efficiency, and everyone knew it.

“I asked.” His expression showed he was in a mixed emotion.

Under this circumstance, others would avoid making a conversation with Ethan Mo so he would not lose temper on them, but Wei was his buddy, and they grew up together. Besides, he was famous for gossip.

He whistled and moved near to Ethan.

“Did she confess to you? Oh, don’t tell me! let me guess! She confessed and admitted that after five years, she still got a feeling on you?”

“She got married.” Ethan breathed out smoke and took his eyes out of Wei to the outside of the window.“Two years ago.”

Now even Wei shut his mouth.

This shocking news made him realized that he underestimated her so much. After she escaped from prison and vanished, she even got married.

But ironically, the woman who did all those things was the little girl clamming to marry Ethan Mo in her childhood. Wei could not help thinking whether she remembered those words.

“I never thought of that...But it doesn’t matter. You’re way out of her league. What’s more, the doctor you hired from abroad is good. May is getting better these days, and maybe the day that you two live happily after will come soon.”

Ethan just stared outside and said nothing while Wei kept talking to cheer him up. Seeing that Ethan was still in silence, Wei tried to change the subject.

“After all these years, why don’t you just let it go.”

Ethan finally responded and glared at him.

“I meant it. Besides, once May recovered completely, she would certainly not be pleased to see Belle.” Wei tried to persuade him. “For the old-time sake, just let it go, will you?”

“Never!”

His tone was firm and cold.

He would never let it go of her, or who would pay for the suffering he had been through.

Wei wanted to say more, but he glanced at the fury blazing in Ethan’s eyes. He was aware that for now, no matter what he said, Ethan was not going to change his mind.

That was Ethan Mo. He might even be paranoid, but once he had made a decision, he would stick to it and took the responsibilities.

“I’ll ask them to look her up, but still, don’t count on it.” Wei nodded and said.

Belle Ye, Wei thought. Wherever she went, mess followed.

Room 086, the Dungeon club, Gang City.

A couple of rich boys from the mainland was here for the first time, so the girls Echo Xu sent to their room were all tops. She found two female customers when she served drinks, and it might be because of that, the atmosphere was easy and harmonious. All the girls of the club were arranged to sit aside, just chatting and drinking.

Echo left the room and told Belle Ye to go inside, keep her head down, and just serve them drink.

“Thank you, Echo.” Belle knew that Echo was taking care of her.

“Alright, alright. Listen, you do whatever they tell you to do, and if you run into any situation, you just let me know and I’ll handle it.”

“Yes, Echo.”

Belle went inside the room as they were chatting and laughing. No one seemed to notice her, so she sat down in a corner and stared at the floor.

“Hey, you. The one sitting in the corner. Come and pour me a glass of whiskey.” Belle got her whole body tensed up, hearing the voice. She checked her position and was sure that the voice was asking her.

She stood up with head down and tried to move normally toward that voice. Few people even noticed her coming in, but she caught a few eyes when she stood up and walked.

She took a glass from the table and filled it with whiskey and then hold it still, waiting for someone to take.

Han Jingyu took it and sipped. He glanced at her and frowned a bit curiously.

“What’s the matter, Han?” The female customer sitting next to him gave Belle a contemptuous look.

“Nothing. Oh, and are we waiting for someone, Yan?”

Belle went back silently after serving.

“Yes, I’m expecting Yu. It has been so long since we have fun like this.” As she spoke, she learned on Han.

“Having fun? Nah, we ain’t. All those beauties just sit far away from us. How can it be fun?”

Girls sitting aside could not agree more. They could not get near to the customers, so they could only earn few tips.

“Are you blind? All I see are ugly beasts. Besides, how can beauties show up in a place like that.”

“Yeah, yeah. They are all ugly, and you are the most pretty one, alright?”

“You don’t believe me?” Yan sounded angry and glared at the girls sitting aside.

“You! Come here.” She yelled to Belle sitting in the corner.

And she said to the other customers.

“Don’t laugh you guys. If that one is a beauty, I’ll pay the girls for all of you.”
