The next thing I know I’m choking on spit.

“What do you mean by you kind of like me” I say trying as hard as possible to articulate each sound correctly.

“Well, you know like I didn’t know you before and then I started knowing you and then I began to think you have a really nice personality and you understand people and you even gave my mom the benefit of the doubt even when she got on your nerves. You know since I started to know you I have come to know that you will make a great friend and I mean I like the way you don’t bother your parents. You are a good daughter and friend. I see all your friends adore you-” he said not bothering to take a breath.

“Take a chill,” I say stopping him halfway through his babble. “Your babble is cute but please can you not” I say with amusement.

“I’m sorry,” he said meekly and then focused on the road.

“I think you are an awfully considerate guy and you have what it takes to keep a girl happy” I comment and from the corner of my eyes I see a smile stretch on his face.

“Thank you,” he said sincerely.Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

“So about this dietician?” I say slowly. “I hope she won’t make me eat grounded broccoli,” I say and his smile widens.

“Grounded broccoli?” he asked trying hard to contain his laughter.

“Yeah, you know because I’m on a diet?” I asked him.

“Well I don’t know about that but she is going to make you eat healthy for your baby.” he said before adding “Our baby”

“I guess I have to do it for the little one,” I said rubbing my belly. It wasn’t really big but it was already stretching out my skin.

I see him stop in front of a small cute little shop. “Does she work here?” I ask the words coming out a little condensing than I thought they would be.

“Is this not good enough for you?” he asked with concern.

“That is not it. It’s just that my late grandpa’s dietician worked from home” I told him and he looked at me. “It’s the first time I am visiting a dietician’s office,” I say and he smiles.

“Let’s go make memories,” he said unlocking the doors. I step out and fresh air blasts my face. I hear the sound of the car beeping lock. He comes to my side and then we walk in together.

“Hello Melinda,” Noah said after reading the girl at the front desk’s name tag.

“How can I help you” she said putting up a smile that wasn’t very pleasant.

“We are here to see Cassidy,” Noah told her and she smiled at us.

“You are?” she asked without looking at us she was typing away on the system in her front.

“Mr and Mrs. Lorraine. I made an appointment today” Noah spoke doing all the talking.

Hearing him address me as Mrs. Lorraine made me feel a little bit secure. He was someone who made me feel comfortable and was glad it was not some kind of creep.

“Okay wait a minute,” she said before picking up the phone and placing it on her head. “Hello ma’am,” she said and paused a little. “Yes ma’am you have Mr and Mrs. Lorraine waiting here for you,” she said and waited for the response tapping her fingers against the wooden counter. “Okay,” she said and then dropped it down.

“You can go see her now. Down the hallway second door by the left,” she said dismissing us before going back to a game on her mobile.

We enter the room described for us and I see a very small woman sit at the table with the table separating her from us. “Come in,” she said when we were stopped by the door.

“Nice to meet you, Cassidy,” Noah said shaking her hands before we took a sit in front of her.

“Jaden called me to say you were coming,” Cassidy said and Noah smiled before frowning again.

“Yeah, he gave me your address. Moving on” he said and Cassidy nodded before taking out her notepad and joking down the important points as we told her some information.

I left the office with a timetable in my hand that I would use to feed until the baby was born. Noah took me home and left after asking me to rest and take good care of myself because it was affecting the baby. I went inside and went to find Rita.

“I’m home Rita” I yelled when I didn’t see her in the kitchen.

“Pantry” she yelled back at me. “You went out today,” she said as soon as she sensed me.

“Yeah had three appointments doctors, a wedding dress, and a dietician,” I say summarizing my day by saying that.

“Dietitian?” she asked dropping the bowl of rice in her hand to the floor.

“Yeah apparently I’m weak and I need to be placed on a special diet,” I tell her and then fish the food timetable that was prepared for me. “Here,” I say handing her the paper.

“Now you will eat healthy,” she said her eyes scanning through the paper. She had always been nagging me about healthy living and I know for a fact that she would be more than happy to help me eat these disgusting vegetables.

“Yadayada,” I say and she narrows her eyes at me. “What?” I asked her and she just shrugged.

“Go freshen up and come down later for dinner,” she said evilly and I know that she will enjoy making me suffer with all these diets.

“I’m tired,” I say leaving the pantry.

“Maybe I can bring it up for you,” she said as I made my way up the stairs.

“In case I don’t make it out of bed can you do just that?” I ask her and she just laughs.

“I’ll try,” she said as I climbed the stairs.

I stand on the stairs and yell to her. “Are you also coming to Hawaii?” I ask her screaming on top of my voice.

“What for?” she asks back.

“For my wedding?” I say and then I see her at the foot of the stairs. What do they call the super fast super hero again? Yes, flash. She had become flash.

“Your wedding?” she asked looking at me closely maybe trying to see if I was pulling a prank on her.

“Yes, Noah said he booked some tickets for us to have the wedding in Hawaii,” I say and she nods.

“Of course, I will come I can’t miss it for the world,” she said. “Go freshen,” she said before returning to the
