“Yes I do” Dylan stared at me and smiled as he replied to the priest.

“Yes, I do”I laughed as the tears of joy flow down my face. I was really happy that at last Dylan was mine.

The priest asked us to exchange the rings and say our vows.

“With this ring Amelia, I pledge to love you forever. I almost lost you and I’m never going to take that chance again. I love you with all my heart. You are the best thing that had ever happened to me.”Dylan confessed and put the ring on my finger.

“Dylan, today in front of everyone I confessed my love to you. I love you so much even though you were a big bad boss” I joked and everyone laughed including Dylan. “It’s all in the past now”I chuckled and continued… “I promise to cherish and love you till the end Dylan. I promise to be a good mother to our children and a good wife to you” I said my vows and placed the ring on his finger.

“With this, I now pronounced you both man and wife. You may now kiss the bride”the priest declared.

Dylan pulled me closer and kissed me passionately. Yay, I’m married.

The crowd all cheered and clapped for us as we walked down the aisle.? The song by Christina Perri continues playing in the background.

Dylan POV

Two brown-haired girls jumped on the bed as they try waking me up with their tiny hands.

“I’m up, up “I groaned and stood up from the bed. Well three years after our wedding, we had our bundle of joy. Amelia gave birth to two girls which we named Amanda and Daphne after our names. (Amelia and Dylan).

“Where is mummy? “I asked them as I carried them on my shoulders to the kitchen.

“There! “Daphne pointed at Amelia who was busy making breakfast for us.

“Good morning baby” I dropped the kids and walked to her. I circled my hand around her waist and kissed her.

“Pancakes” she replied and I funnily licked my lips.

“Hmmmmm, tempting “I winked at her. She smiled and circled her hand around my neck and we began to kiss but the shouts of the kids pulled us apart.

“Daddy, Amanda won’t let me watch sponge Bob square pants “Daphne stomped her leg on the kitchen floor, something she does when she’s angry.

“Go daddy “Amelia mouthed and laughed. I glared at her before walking to Daphne.

“Okay, Okay. daddy is here “I took her hand and we both walked to the living room.

“Amanda, what are you watching?”

“Barbie but Daphne won’t let me watch it in peace” Amanda whined.

I facepalmed myself and let out a groan. This happens almost every day and each time I had to settle the argument.

“Okay girls, listen up. Why don’t I tell you a story about your mother and me”

“Really?? Go on daddy” Daphne sat down on my legs to listen while Amanda rested her head on my arm.

“Your mother and I were……. “I started the story and when I was finished they both smiled and hugged themselves. Well I told them about forgiveness and how it helps a lot

“Let’s watch barbie first and then we’ll watch sponge Bob square pants” Amanda proposed and Daphne nodded in agreement.

“Food is ready” Amelia announced. This made the children jump and ran to the dining hall.

“you tell a nice story daddy”Amelia teased, I grabbed her from behind and placed kisses on all parts of her body. “Stop it Dylan “she laughed as I tickled her.

“That’s was fun,” I said and kissed her.

“Yeah, come on the kids are waiting”. She replied and pulled my hand to the dining hall.

Well sometimes the heart never really forgets the past, forgiveness is all that’s matters
