Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 442

Diego was the bald agent, and he also managed Cecelia.

"What?!"

Cecelia shot up from her seat as soon as her assistant delivered the news, her face a mask of fury.

"Are you sure Diego is gunning for that woman too?"

"Yes!" The assistant nodded gravely. "And he's making the biggest fuss about it!"

This was too much!

Cecelia snatched up her purse. "Let's go back to the office!"

She needed to see for herself what this woman was all about.

Cecelia stormed out with her assistant hot on her heels, both looking like they were ready for a showdown.

Meanwhile, Flora.

Tony, ever the diligent guide, had shown Flora nearly every corner of Florik Entertainment.

"Are all these people company artists?" Flora asked, fascinated by the posters lining the corridor walls.

"Yes," Tony confirmed. "This is our Wall of Fame, featuring the top artists and hosts we represent." Florik Entertainment had over a hundred talents, but only a select few made it to the Wall of Fame. Flora, hand under her chin, stared at Cecelia's poster.

In the poster, Cecelia flashed a goofy smile despite her fiery figure and charismatic beauty, giving off a somewhat clumsy vibe. She didn't fit the modern standard of beauty; her features were more Western and sharp, making her look fierce. But her smile softened that impression, adding a touch of endearing goofiness.

Cecelia had piqued Flora's interest.

She stopped to take a longer look.

Below the poster were details of Cecelia's roles in various productions and shows.

"Ms. Flora, this is our top star, Cecelia," Tony said, noticing Flora's interest. "Cecelia is amazing-straightforward and kind to everyone. She's down-to-earth, though she can be a bit hot-headed at times." Flora smiled at Tony's description, glad to hear Cecelia wasn't like Aisha, who was all looks and no substance.

Cecelia, arriving in a huff with her assistant, spotted a girl in a mask standing in front of her poster. The girl's eyes crinkled into a smile above the mask.

Cecelia's anger hit a boiling point.

Why was she smiling so smugly?!

Was this a challenge?!

She stomped over to Flora, ready to confront her.

Tony wanted to make introductions, but Cecelia didn't give him a chance.

"What are you smiling at? Don't think just because you're a bit pretty, you can take my spot! You just got here and already have the whole company talking. Were you a chef in a past life? Because you sure know how to stir things up!"

Flora was bewildered.

The assistant, not to be outdone, put her hands on her hips and snapped, "Our Cecelia is the top star here. As long as she's around, you're nothing!"

Cecelia lifted her chin proudly at her assistant's words.

Flora was speechless.

Was this supposed to be some sort of 'if I don't die, you'll always be a concubine' attitude?

Tony was nearly having a heart attack.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

"Cecelia... you..."

That was bold!

Did she even know who she was talking to?

"Cecelia, this has nothing to do with you. It's a matter between us women!"
