Chapter 441
Tony was on top of his game, showing Flora around the company with infectious enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, several agents were gathered in Henrik's office at Florik Entertainment. They had their weekly Saturday summary session, part of their single-day-off workweek. After going over the week's tasks, they exchanged knowing glances.Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
A woman in a dark blue suit cleared her throat, "Mr. Raul, did you bring a young lady to the company today?"
Henrik, buried in financial reports, responded with a nonchalant hum.
A bald agent jumped in, "Is she your girlfriend, Mr. Raul?"
Henrik finally looked up, his brows knitting together, "Who started that rumor?"
She was his sister, for crying out loud, not his girlfriend! The agents quickly realized their mistake from Henrik's reaction.
"Oh, that makes things easier!" one of them exclaimed.
"Mr. Raul, in that case, is the young lady a new talent you've signed? She hasn't been assigned an agent yet, right? Look at me, I'm perfect for the job! I've got just the spot for her type in my portfolio. I can make her a star!"
"You already have Cecelia under your wing; this opportunity should be mine! Mr. Raul, it's only fair you spread the chances. It's my turn this time!"
"And me, don't forget me! Mr. Raul, if you let me manage her, I guarantee she'll be the talk of the town in no more than a year!"
"Mr. Raul, I told you two months ago I was looking for an artist just like her. You promised I'd get first pick next time. You're not going back on your word, are you?"
The agents bickered fiercely, making it impossible for Henrik to get a word in. Years in the entertainment industry had sharpened their instincts, and despite Flora's face being obscured in the photos, they could tell she was a natural beauty with an effortless grace that was captivating.
Her potential was undeniable; with a bit of grooming, she could easily surpass the company's top star, Cecelia. The moment they saw her photo, they all had the same thought: they had to sign Flora. Initially, the fear that she might be Henrik's girlfriend had dampened their hopes since it would be unlikely for Henrik to let his girlfriend enter the industry. But now, knowing the truth, they could hardly contain their excitement.
"No, you've got it all wrong..." Henrik finally found an opening to clarify.
The agents turned to him, eyes wide with a mix of desperation and hope.
With a sigh, Henrik set the reports aside and massaged his temples, "The young lady you're all talking about, Flora, is actually my sister."
The agents were stunned into silence...
...
"Ruby! Big news!" Cecelia had just wrapped up an ad shoot when her assistant came running over.
"What happened?" she asked, sipping her drink through a straw, her words slightly garbled.
"Mr. Raul brought a girl to the company today! They seemed super close! Now all the agents are in Mr. Raul's office, fighting over who gets to manage her. Even Diego spent ages arguing for her to be under his wing!"
