Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 435

"Ms. Flora?!"

Howell was a big shot in both the fashion and entertainment worlds. Tons of people were dying to get close to him, but this was the first time anyone had seen him show such respect to someone. Who exactly was Flora?

With a slight nod, Flora asked, "Got the goods?"

Howell pulled out a gift box from inside his jacket and handed it to Flora.

Flora opened it and saw the necklace inside, raising an eyebrow.

"This is the 'limited edition' necklace you mentioned?"

As she casually took it out, the diamond necklace glimmered under the white lights, casting an icy glow and catching everyone's eye.

"Isn't that the necklace Aisha was showing off? Designed by Rose?" someone in the crowd recognized it immediately.

They all knew the necklace because Aisha had been bragging about it nonstop. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

The moment Aisha saw the necklace, her eyes widened in shock, and she started trembling.

This can't be happening...

The necklace she had flaunted as her most treasured possession was now in Flora's hands, just like that.

All the accusations she had thrown at Flora earlier now seemed utterly absurd.

Even the head designer of Rose's team was showing Flora so much respect. There was no way Flora would need to steal Aisha's necklace. She could get whatever she wanted with just a word.

"Aisha really overstepped this time, huh? As a public figure, she should know better than to slander someone without proof. It's a good thing Ms. Flora has the status to clear her name. If it were an ordinary person, they might've been ruined by now."

"No wonder she freaked out when someone mentioned calling the cops. Guilty conscience, maybe?"

"Maybe Aisha's just jealous because Ms. Flora is prettier than her, so she made up this whole scheme out of spite?"

"Wouldn't be surprised. But this time, she's hit a brick wall."

People whispered among themselves, mindful of Aisha's status, but the room wasn't big enough to keep their murmurs from reaching her ears.

"Ms. Aisha, as for that necklace, Rose said to just give it to you. She mentioned, 'dirty things shouldn't be taken back as they're revolting."" Howell said, "And as for your collaboration with us, it's over. From now on, our Rose design team won't be providing any garments to Ms. Aisha."

Hearing the first part, Aisha felt a surge of humiliation and anger. What did 'dirty things' imply? Was that a dig at her character?

But before she could explode, the rest of Howell's words hit her like a ton of bricks, turning her fury into sheer panic.

She had worked so hard to get in with Rose's team. If they shut her out now, breaking into the fashion scene would be nearly impossible, making her a laughingstock in the entertainment world. She could already imagine the snickers and whispers behind her back.

"Mr. Howell, maybe there's been a misunderstanding between Rose and Aisha?" Lindsey quickly butted in, "Could you give us Rose's contact info, or maybe set up a meeting? If there's been a misunderstanding, we should clear it up."

Lindsey had been riding Aisha's coattails, flaunting her power. If Aisha was in trouble, she wouldn't be far behind. Aisha might even take out all her frustration on them.

Howell gave Lindsey and Aisha a long, hard look before saying, "Our Rose team's designs might not be the most famous, but they're certainly not for just anyone, especially not for those with questionable morals and poor character."
