Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 434

"Ms. Aisha, it turns out this whole mess has nothing to do with my sister. You owe her an apology."

Henrik's voice was calm but firm, leaving no room for argument.NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.

"Why waste time explaining? When something important goes missing, just call the police," Rafael chimed in, his tone laced with arrogance.

Honestly, he thought Aisha was digging her own grave. Of all people to mess with, she chose Flora.

Aisha's smile faltered. Call the police? A celebrity getting involved with the cops would be a field day for the tabloids. She wanted to ruin Flora's reputation, not her own.

"Yes, let's get the police involved," Henrik agreed, picking up his phone and dialing.

The crowd was stunned. No one expected them to actually call the cops.

Seeing Henrik about to make the call, Aisha panicked. "Wait!"

Henrik held his phone, his finger hovering over the keypad, and gave her a cool look. "Ms. Aisha, feeling guilty?"

The crowd's perception of Aisha shifted. Just moments ago, she was so insistent. Now, with Henrik and the others here, she seemed to back down, and the mention of the police had her visibly anxious. Something was definitely up.

Aisha realized she had overreacted and quickly tried to regain her composure, her voice low and strained. "Rafael, I know you and Ms. Flora have a special relationship, and you're targeting me because of her. I get it. You know, as public figures, we can't really go to the police... Fine, let's say I was wrong. Ms. Flora, you didn't take my necklace..."

Aisha lowered her head, her shoulders shaking slightly, her voice trembling.

Flora almost admired her performance. A true white lotus, Aisha's acting was impeccable, a testament to her survival in showbiz.

In just a few words, Aisha had deflected the issue from the necklace to her and Rafael's relationship.

"What's the deal with Rafael and Ms. Flora from the Irving family?"

"Are they a couple?"

"Could be. Remember when Florik Entertainment was a small company? Rafael, a top actor, worked with them without hesitation. There had to be something more to it."

The crowd seized on Aisha's insinuation, whispering excitedly. Rafael and Flora's relationship was far more interesting than a missing necklace.

"Aisha, who do you think you're fooling?" Rafael smirked, casually draping an arm over Flora's shoulder, his smile roguish. "Though, I'd love to be what you're suggesting with Ms. Flora. How about it, Flora? Give me a chance?"

Flora felt a shiver at his repeated use of 'Ms. Flora.' She gave him a withering look and elbowed him in the chest.

Rafael winced, looking hurt. "Flora, you're so mean."

Flora laughed and retorted, "Scram."

Disgusting.

The two of them were straightforward and open. While they were close, anyone could see they weren't romantically involved. Aisha's jealousy twisted her features.

Just then, a man in a suit, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, approached casually.

"It's Howell!"

Someone recognized him and called out excitedly.

Howell, the lead designer from Rose Team. What was he doing here?

Aisha had only met Howell once and exchanged a few words.

As they watched in confusion, Howell stopped in front of Flora and respectfully said, "Ms. Flora."
