Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 431

Tony was visibly taken aback by the director's reaction! Michael was a top-tier director in the industry, someone that many leading actors dreamt of working with. And now, he was personally inviting Flora to be

a part of his new film.

For the role of the third lead, no less!

Most people would jump at such an opportunity.

Michael thought so too.

But to his surprise, Flora turned him down.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not interested."

"Do you think the third lead role is beneath you?" Michael asked, his face stern with confusion. It was the first time someone had rejected him outright. Did this girl think she could hold out for the lead role? "Director, you misunderstand," Flora said, noticing Tony's surprised expression. She smiled gently, "I don't want to act because I'm not from the entertainment industry, and I don't know how to act." "Being new and inexperienced is normal. You have to start somewhere," Michael encouraged. Flora's demeanor was so similar to the character of the third lead in his film that he thought she could play the role naturally-hence his approach.

Tony watched in awe. Ms. Flora was truly something else.C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.

Not far away, Aisha's face darkened with envy. Though she couldn't hear the conversation between Michael and Flora, the excitement among the directors and producers nearby was evident.

Aisha had already approached Michael about the third lead role in his new film. For someone of her status, taking on a third lead role was already a step down, yet Michael had rejected her almost instantly after a brief audition.

Now, seeing Michael so keen on Flora felt like a slap in the face!

Aisha nudged Lindsey with her chin.

Lindsey nodded and suddenly dashed towards Flora, shouting about a thief.

"There's a thief here!"

Lindsey's loud voice caught everyone's attention. Rafael and Henrik, seated at the judges' table far away, couldn't hear the commotion over the loud music on stage.

"A thief! Hand over the necklace now!" Lindsey stopped in front of Flora, glaring at her furiously.

Michael, who had been speaking with Flora, froze and instinctively stepped back. He recognized Lindsey but couldn't understand why she was calling this young woman a thief.

Flora looked up, her eyes cold under the harsh lights. This was the second time today she was being targeted. Did they think she was an easy mark?

Tony, unaware of the history between Lindsey and Flora, was bewildered but stood firmly by Flora's side: "Is there some misunderstanding? Your necklace is missing, but what does that have to do with our Miss?"

Was this just a ploy to cause trouble?

Ms. Flora had been with him the whole time. She hadn't even crossed paths with Lindsey.

Lindsey shouted, "It's not a misunderstanding! She was the only outsider who entered the dressing room, and then our Aisha's necklace went missing!"

"Miss, please return the necklace. I believe you just made a mistake in the moment," Aisha said as she approached, maintaining a perfect smile but firmly accusing Flora of theft. "If you want another necklace, I can give you one, but this necklace was handcrafted and engraved by Rose herself. It's one-of-a-kind in the world."
