Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 430

"What's up?" Devin stood still, his expression calm and easygoing as he looked at her.

"Devin, I know I probably shouldn't say this, but I'm just looking out for Rafael," Aisha hesitated, clearly troubled. "His career is really taking off right now, and getting too close to a woman, especially someone who's not in the industry, could cause problems."

Devin frowned, not quite catching her drift. "What woman?"

"You don't know? The one Henrik brought along. Rafael even calls her... Flora," Aisha struggled to say it, pausing before finally uttering the name.

Devin's eyes lit up with understanding. He knew exactly who she meant.

Aisha continued, "I've seen her. She seems pretty calculating, and I'm worried Rafael might get hurt if he gets involved with her."

Devin gave her a sidelong glance, thinking to himself that if anyone had a cunning mind, it was Aisha. "Got it."

He replied curtly, ready to leave.

Aisha couldn't figure out what he was thinking. Why was he so cool about this? Shouldn't he be angry or at least concerned? No manager would let their talent date during such a crucial time, especially not with someone outside the industry.

Biting her lip, she added, "Devin, I know I'm saying a lot, but I'm genuinely worried about Rafael. Him calling some girl 'Flora' just doesn't look good."

Devin, growing increasingly irritated, responded colder than before, "Thanks for the heads-up, Ms. Aisha, but that's not going to be a problem."

Aisha's eyes widened. "You're not worried they might start dating?"

Devin sighed. In fact, he wished Rafael would date Flora. But Rafael just didn't have what it took. "Rafael isn't good enough for her," Devin said coolly, then walked away.

Aisha was left in shock and disbelief. Devin's attitude was completely unexpected. He thought Rafael wasn't good enough for that woman? She was just slightly prettier, not as amazing as Devin made her out to be!Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

Jealousy twisted her features, and the staff behind her didn't dare make a sound, afraid of catching her wrath. Until...

"Aisha, I think that's her!"

Following the direction pointed out by her staff, Aisha indeed saw Flora. She was still wearing a baseball cap and casual clothes, now with a black face mask added to her outfit. She slowly emerged from the lounge, looking like she was heading to watch the game.

Well... at least she wasn't hiding in the lounge.

...

Flora found staying in the lounge incredibly boring. So, she asked Tony to take her out to watch the game. Her brother mentioned that artists from Florik Entertainment were also participating today, so it was a good chance for her to see their performances.

From the moment she walked in, Flora drew countless gazes. Directors and agents especially couldn't help but look at her. Despite her loose-fitting clothes and the mask, her youthful aura shone brightly, making her the most dazzling presence in the crowd.

"Hey there, are you interested in acting in a movie? I've got a supporting role that would be perfect for you. Want to give it a shot?" A director couldn't resist coming over to ask.

He didn't recognize Flora but knew Tony. Knowing Tony was Henrik's assistant, he assumed Flora was one of Henrik's talents.

The cool lighting of the venue shone down, most of it blocked by the baseball cap, leaving only a sliver of light and shadow on Flora's face. Her eyes, cool yet bright, captivated him once more. He couldn't help but take another look. Perfect, she was exactly like the supporting actress in his script!
