Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

CHAPTER 357

Crossing the swamp scaling the monkey bars leaping up the cloud ladder, stepping scross the balance beam

Flora’s speed was absolutely mind blowing. She blitzed through all eighteen obstacles in under eight minutes, while most others were still struggling with less than ten

When Flora finally stood at the finish line, everyone else was still catching up, and they were all left speechless for a good while.

Flora was just incredible…

Jillian knew Flora was fast, but this was beyond her wildest expectations! Her mind was in a whirl, and with an old injury nagging her foot, she slipped off the plank and tumbled right into the swamp…

She plunged headfirst into the muddy water, emerging covered from head to toe, her face barely recognizable.

When the safety officer hauled her out, she was drenched in mud.

Jillian’s old ankle injury flared up, making it impossible for her to continue in the competition.

Once again, she scored a zero in the obstacle assessment.

Eilies and Cynthia managed to push through all the obstacles, looking a bit worse for wear, but they scraped by with passing marks.

And Flora, unsurprisingly, nailed full marks.

Full marks in every assessment!

Even without her regular scores, Flora would still be top of the class!

In the twenty days of military training, fewer than thirty people could achieve such honors. Jillian had strong regular scores, but too many mishaps in the assessments led Jason to give her a passing score out of pity.

Thus, the twenty days of military training at University of Maple Grove finally came to an

end.

That evening, a bonfire party was held as a farewell ceremony.

Despite being pushed to their limits by the instructors over the past half–month, everyone was reluctant to leave. They clung to the instructors, crying their eyes out.

The party ran until eleven o’clock, and the next morning at eight, all the students boarded the bus back to University of Maple Grove.

Connor. I won’t be able to see you every day anymore, missing you…

Flors: What are you missing about me?

Connor Flors, every part of you belongs to me

Flore

She felt that leaving the base was the right call if she stayed with Connor.every day, she really wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Back at University of Maple Grove.

As soon as they got to the dorm, Cynthia collapsed onto her bed, nearly moved to tears by the familiar scent of her quilt.

Finally, she didn’t have to live in that damp barracks anymore.

Flora also lay on her bed to rest. In the afternoon, the counselor called Flora, asking her to

In Mr. Garcia’s office.

Mr. Richard and Kurt were sitting opposite each other, eyeing each other warily.

The national military base wanted her, and he felt uneasy not complying, yet he was reluctant to let her go.

Flora was a talent he had fought hard to secure, and he couldn’t bear to part with her.

He had no choice but to ask someone to call Flora over and let her decide for herself.

There was a knock on the door, and Mr. Richard looked towards it, seeing Flora dressed in a short–sleeved, loose–fitting pair of palazzo pants standing at the entrance.

Mr. Richard quickly said, “Flora’s here! Come in, please!”

Flora walked in slowly.

Kurt stood up and extended his hand to Flora, “Hello, Flora. I’m Kurt from the national military base consulate. You can call me Uncle Kurt.”

Flora extended her hand for a brief handshake and then withdrew it.

She had a pretty good idea of why Kurt was there.

Connor had mentioned that the national military base had their eyes on her.
