Chapter 353
Today's shoot was indoors, featuring Reuben and the second lead male. Both were handsome, their acting skills may not be exceptional, but they managed to keep the audience engaged without breaking the illusion.
The set was hushed, with only the sound of their lines being spoken.
Quintessa moved quietly to Director Cooper.
Director Cooper was focused on the monitor. After a few minutes, he called out, "Prepare for the next scene!"
Seeing Quintessa, the director said, "Quinn, you go over your lines, get changed, and do your make-up. You're on in about an hour."
"Okay, director. Thank you."
Director Cooper gave her a pat on the shoulder, "Everyone's been working hard. Let's give it our all for this last week, then we can wrap. Oh, I forgot to congratulate you."
Quintessa was confused. Congratulations? For what?
The rest of the cast and crew were also congratulating her, leaving her bewildered.NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.
Reuben approached her with a smile, "Hey, sis, congrats! You looked absolutely stunning!"
"What? Why is everyone congratulating me?"
"Don't you know? The music video you did with God Snow went online today. Twitter's blowing up."
Quintessa's eyes widened as she quickly pulled out her phone. She first noticed a message from Snow on WhatsApp, along with a couple of missed calls, all during the time she had a breakdown in the afternoon when she didn't have her phone with her.
Opening Twitter, she found herself once again trending thanks to her collaboration with Snow.
Her Twitter was buzzing, a stark contrast to the previous barrage of criticisms. This time, most comments were praising her, calling her a goddess, and the rest were speculating about the roman Yo!!!!
sparks between her and Snow during the music video shoot.
Quintessa chuckled at some of the comments.
#Blown Away, I've become a fan of an actress I swore to dislike after watching a music video#
#You're not alone. Count me in#
#Beauty wins. Goddess, take my admiration!#
The comments were diverse. Quintessa clicked on the music video. It was beautiful, with edited shots that seemed to be enchanted. The opening was a long aerial shot, with no background music, just a sound playing as if hummed spontaneously, tuneless yet intriguing.
This aerial shot, likely added later, kept zooming in, revealing countless abandoned cars piled up, some of them had been here for so long that they were covered in dust, instantly outlining a desolation. And what was also brought up along with the dust was a red veil drifting into the frame.
The camera slowly panned to Quintessa, and then the music started-Snow's unique voice bringing tears to the eyes alongside the instrumental.
Snow was truly talented. The amateur shots, post-editing, turned into aesthetically pleasing scenes, each frame wallpaper-worthy, with the music being the soul of the video.
Quintessa retweeted Snow's post. She had an obligation to promote it, after all, it would boost her own popularity.
She then picked up the script to memorize her lines.
Manny, out of breath, arrived: "Sis, sorry I'm late. Let's start on your makeup."
Quintessa pointed to the chair beside her, "No problem, take a breather. There's no rush for makeup."
