Chapter 752 Piecing Together The Puzzle

Ameera whispered under her breath, grappling with a puzzle that refused to leave her mind. “So, if I’ve got this straight, Emrys was never really tied to the Crimson Sun Sect, right? Then what the heck was he doing messing around with them?” Her voice, a soft murmur, was more to herself than anyone else. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

Without missing a beat, Ameera shifted her focus, her eyes locking onto Ninette with an intensity that was hard to ignore. She laid bare the confusion that had taken root in her heart, looking for answers.

Ninette, caught off–guard by the sudden attention, hesitated. She found herself at a loss. for words.

Despite the woman in front of her being her mother, and clearly harboring no malice, Ninette was bound by Emrys‘ strict instruction. He had made it crystal clear under no circumstances was she to divulge the secret that her sister, Caylie, was safeguarding the Azure Flame Cauldron.

The stakes were too high; revealing such information could unleash a catastrophe.

The dilemma was palpable. Disclosing why Emrys had ventured into the Crimson Sun Sect could’inadvertently put Caylie in jeopardy.

Lost for words, Ninette’s eyes pleaded for help, turning toward Cordelia in desperation.

Cordelia took a moment, weighing her words carefully before responding, “Rys‘ visit to the Crimson Sun Sect was compelled by certain unavoidable factors. Unfortunately, the finer details are something we’re not at liberty to share. We trust you will understand our position, Mdm. Ameera.”

Ameera, ever the astute one, jumped in with her guess, “This is about the Azure Flame Cauldron that belonged to the Crimson Sun Sect, isn’t it?”

Her intuition was sharp; despite the silence from the others, she connected the dots. effortlessly.

It was an easy puzzle for Ameera.

Crimson Sun Sect had been vocal about their quest for the Azure Flame Cauldron. Then, like a bolt from the blue, Emrys emerged in Mount Kushburn, assuming the mantle of the Azure King’s will inheritor.

The pieces started falling into place for Ameera, who had always wondered how a formidable figure like Emrys had suddenly risen from the ranks of the Crimson Sun Sect.

The sect’s story of Emrys being the direct mentee of Abel, the tower guard, and his subsequent rise to prominence now seemed dubious at best.

“I had a hunch!” Ameera exclaimed, her voice a mix of excitement and vindication. “Emrys is truly a man touched by destiny, the Ultimate Lucky One. To think he has the Azure Flame Cauldron, and so well–concealed at that!”

To Ameera, everything made perfect sense now.

Emrys was undoubtedly the keeper of the Azure Flame Cauldron, an identity that aligned seamlessly with his role as the inheritor of Azure King’s will.

It explained why Quincey was so guarded, fearful that Emrys’s true identity and the location of the sect’s most treasured relic would come to light.

She nodded to herself, convinced of her theory. Her keen insight allowed her to piece together the entire saga, further fueling her desire to forge a strong bond with Emrys.

Meanwhile, Cordelia and Ninette could barely hide their relief.

Ameera had only managed to guess half the story.

True, Emrys‘ journey to the Crimson Sun Sect was intertwined with the Azure Flame. Cauldron, but his real mission was to protect Caylic.

The cauldron itself was not in his possession. This misconception worked in their favor, shielding Caylie from unwanted attention.

Ameera’s gaze fell on Cordelia and Ninette, her eyes sharp and calculating. Her assumption seemed to be on the mark.

But her thoughts didn’t stop there; she also pondered the fate of Yadiel and Haunn.

It’s likely they met their end at Emrys‘ hands in the tussle over the Azure Flame Cauldron. He certainly had the means.

Ameera, with a grave look, addressed the room, “I respect your need for caution and your reluctance to share everything. But please, believe me when I say I have no intention of causing harm.”

Her gaze softened as she looked at Ninette again. “Ninette, remember, I am your mother.

Though it’s only today we’ve recognized each other, you’ve always been a part of me. Please, take my words to heart.”

“Mom, I’m sorry…” Ninette, mistaking Ameera’s concern for reproach, whispered her apology, her voice barely above a breath.

Ameera, however, quickly reassured her. “No, darling, mother isn’t upset with you. What you did was absolutely necessary. We must keep Emrys‘ secret between us.”

She hesitated briefly before adding, “Listen, you need to get in touch with Emrys. Tell him we’ve got visitors from Mount Kushburn on our doorstep. They’re on the hunt for cultivator above the Golden Elixir Stage in Jazona. He’ll get the drift.”
