Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 668

"You better think this through. You can only come alone. If I see you bring anyone else, I'll immediately cut open this woman's stomach, and then take out what's inside her..."

As he spoke, the man suddenly paused and turned to glance at Rosalie meaningfully.

Rosalie's heart nearly leaped into her throat. Was this man about to tell Theodore that she was pregnant?

The man continued, "As for what happens next, you can imagine it yourself."

"I won't bring anyone with me," Theodore said, trying hard to suppress his rage. "Don't harm her. I'll do exactly as you say."

"Good. I'll send you the address now. Make sure you behave."

Seeing the man's fierce gaze, Rosalie became very agitated. "Theo, don't come!"

But before she could finish speaking, the man had already ended the call.

He walked over to Rosalie, grabbed her chin, and lifted her head. "Even in this state, you still want to protect your ex-husband, huh?" "Why didn't you tell him I'm pregnant?" Rosalie asked.

The man had mentioned cutting open her stomach. It was obvious he was implying he would take out the baby, yet he had stopped short of saying it. If Theodore knew she was pregnant, who knew how he might react. It was better that he didn't know for now. He was already worried enough.

"How could I mention something like that?" The man chuckled. "That's your secret. I'm not the type to divulge someone's private matters. I'm very discreet, so if you have any secrets, you can tell me. If you don't want me to tell anyone, I won't say a word."

His voice carried a sense of calm arrjed

and reliability, giving the impression that he could be trusted. If it weren't for the fact that Rosalie had seen with her own eyes what he was capable of, she would have been deceived.

"What do you intend to do to Theo? Can you tell me?" she asked.

Her voice softened, no longer filled with resentment. Since the man had said that he responded better if people-treated him politely, she

wasn't going to be foolish enough to

confront him head-on.

"I don't know yet." Sure enough-hearing her softer tone, the man released her face. "I prefer to improvise in situations like this. I don't like making plans ahead of time."

"So, you're saying you do everything spontaneously, including killing those kidnappers?" Rosalie asked.

"Yes, that's right. Including that."

"So that means you've been keeping an eye on me. That's how you knew I was kidnapped. Either that, or you were the mastermind behind those kidnappers, even if they didn't know it themselves."

"Hey, that's hurtful," the man said, displeased. "I have nothing to do with those kidnappers. I'd never do something so low."

"Really? Then what are you doing right now?" Rosalie looked down at herself. "Why am I tied up?"This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

"I saved you, and yet you blame me?" The man shook his head helplessly. "If you behaved, I wouldn't have to tie you up."

Rosalie almost laughed in exasperation. She was speechless. This level of perversity was astonishing.

Just then, Rosalie suddenly saw Laila struggling to crawl out of another room, her body covered in blood.

"Help me..."

Seeing Laila in such a state, Rosalie immediately turned her head away. She couldn't bear to look at such a gruesome scene, as it made her

nauseous.
