Chapter 667
"Did you hear that? Your ex-husband wants you to talk to him. Don't stay silent, or he'll think I killed you and won't play my game anymore. That would upset me."
Rosalie still refused to speak. What could she say to Theodore? In her current situation, anything she said would only be a fatal blow to him.
Things had already reached this point. Theodore was certainly going to try to rescue he, but deep down, she didn't want him to come. If he really did, it would not end well.C0pyright © 2024 Nôv)(elDrama.Org.
She couldn't risk other people's lives just to save her own. If Theodore died, his grandmother wouldn't want to live anymore. Plus, what would his parents do? He was their only son.
"You bastard! Did you kill Rose?" Theodore roared in anger, unable to contain his fury.
Rosalie still said nothing. This was for the best. If Theodore thought she was dead, he wouldn't foolishly come to rescue her.
Suddenly, a sharp knife was pointed at her belly, the blade glinting menacingly.
The man leaned close, and whispered coldly in her ear, "Don't you want the little brat in your belly anymore?"
Rosalie's lips trembled uncontrollably as she shifted her gaze to the screen on his phone.
Under the threat, she trembled and said, "Theo, I'm still alive."
Hearing Rosalie's voice, Theodore felt a wave of relief and hurriedly asked, "Rose, how are you? Are you hurt? Did he do anything to you?"
"Aren't you supposed to marry Cynthia? Why did you suddenly cancel the wedding? You divorced me just for this, and now I'm speechless. If you canceled the wedding because of me, don't think I'll thank you for your sacrifice and come back to you!"
Rosalie tried her best to say these
harsh words, hoping Theodore would be disappointed in her and wouldn't come to save her. This psychopath was even more dangerous than the kidnappers.

Hearing Rosalie's cruel words, Theodore felt his heart wrench with pain. But who wouldn't want someone to rescue them when they were in danger? Unless they were worried that the rescuer would also face danger.
Rosalie clearly knew that saying such things might anger him, to the point where he might abandon her in a fit of rage. Yet, she said them anyway.
It wasn't because she arrogantly believed he wouldn't get angry no matter what she said, but because she was afraid he would encounter danger.
"Rose, canceling the wedding with Cynthia was my own decision. Whatever the consequences, I will bear them myself. It has nothing to do with you, and I don't need your gratitude. Right now, all I want is for you to be safe."
"Theo, you're so full of yourself! What makes you think you can keep me safe? We have nothing to do with each other anymore. My safety is none of your business, so stop meddling!"
The more Rosalie said things like this, the more worried Theodore became.
"Roses, you won't be harmed. I won't let anything happen to you. Trust me, I—"
Theodore continued speaking, but Rosalie couldn't hear him anymore because the man had turned off the speaker.
He put the phone to his ear, and said, "Enough. You've heard Rosalie's voice. How touching, but she doesn't seem to appreciate it."
Suppressing his anger, Theodore asked, "Tell me, what do you want?"
"I'll give you an address. Come alone. You can't bring anyone with you."
"Alright," Theodore agreed decisively. "Give me the address, and I'll come right now."
