CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 671

Nash felt a surge of panic and asked urgently, "Where's Nina?"

James was equally puzzled. "She was just here a moment ago."

Nash worried that Nina might have been kidnapped, realizing that this mission was far from foolproof. "Are there any suspicious people around here?"

"No way. This place is secure, and all the people here are my men," James assured him.

Nash could not afford to take any chances. Even if they were his own people, he feared Nina could be used against him.

"Search for her immediately!" he ordered, but his command was interrupted by a sharp ringing in his ears, intensifying his headache.

Meanwhile, Nina was following a familiar feeling, heading toward the back of the lab. She walked a long way, cautious of the dangers around her. Despite the risk, she was determined to understand why she felt so strongly compelled to go this way.

As she navigated through the overgrown area, she took care to avoid snakes and insects, treading carefully.

Suddenly, she heard some noises and instinctively hid in the bushes. From her hiding spot, she saw a man emerge from a hidden tunnel. Judging by his injuries, he was likely escaping from the lab.Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Remaining silent, she watched him head towards a river where a small boat was waiting. It must have been prepared in advance. As the man moved, Nina recognized him. It was Seth.

She froze, feeling an intense familiarity and an aversion to him as if he had stolen something precious from her.

Nina couldn't place where she had seen him before, but she felt an urgent need to alert the others. She sent her location to Nash's

team.

"Captain, we've got her location. She's at the back of the lab in the hills!" someone reported.

"Search the area immediately!" Nash ordered.

The terrain of the hills was complicated, designed as an escape route for lab personnel. Nash did not understand why Nina would go there, knowing it was dangerous.

He couldn't waste any time and had his men find her as quickly as possible.

Nina kept her eyes on Seth from her hiding place. He carried a small box and was nearing the boat. She knew she could not let him escape and decided to create a distraction.

"Who's there?" Seth's sharp ears caught the noise, and he looked towards the sound.

Nina bit her lip, and after getting a clearer look at Seth's face, she became even more certain she had seen him before. In fact, she had seen him before multiple times.

Though she had lost those memories, she was determined to test him. If he recognized her, he would react.

Seth was no fool. He knew something was amiss but was more worried about being pursued. He didn't advance but remained on high alert.

Nina slowly stood up from the bushes. She was wearing a white dress, her hair loose and disheveled. Rising slowly, she might easily be mistaken for a ghost by someone with a guilty conscience.

"Planning to run away?" Nina called out.

Seth's eyes widened in shock and fear at the sight of her, almost dropping the precious box into the boat. "It's you!" he exclaimed, disbelief in his voice.

Then he recovered, warily adding, "No, you should be dead!"

Nina was confused by his words.

Did he think she had died before?

Or was he mistaking her for someone else?

Nina did not quite understand, but suddenly it clicked. She shouted, "Seth, you're Seth! You can't escape!"

The one who had emerged from the tunnel was Seth, the master of this place.
