Caught Between The twin CEO

Chapter 101

Today was the day they had to meet Sophie the CEO of the Advertising Agency.

Everyone was edgy and since not many of them had seen her in real life it just made to feel like she was a dream doll every kid would love to see.

Her skin was glowing, and the way she moved was gracious.

For a minute there one could say Sydney saw Paxton give a double take on the woman.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.

Sydney began to feel a certain way when she saw that Paxton was giving Sophie more attention than. he was giving to her for the moment.

“Good morning, Ms Sophie! I just wanted to say how excited I am that you and your agency have agreed to take on our project.

Your reputation precedes you, and I know you will do an incredible job. Thank you for considering us.” Patton said and then he and Sophie moved forward forgetting that they were walking with Sydney she could feel herself becoming jealous of the attention she saw Pax giving Sophie.

“It’s just a business meeting” she gave herself a pep talk but she was kind of getting angry by the second.

“Thank you, Mr White. It’s an honour to work with your company, and I know that we can deliver a successful campaign to meet your goals. I’m excited to get started.”

“You know what, Sophie? I have been so impressed with your professionalism and creativity that I would like to treat you to lunch today.

How about we try that new French restaurant down the street? We can discuss the details of the project and get to know each other a bit better. What do you say?”

“I would love that, Paxton. Thank you for the invitation, and I’m looking forward to a great collaboration.”

Sydney could see that Sophie had somehow become smitten with Paxton and it began to bother her because she knew she was the only woman Paxton had asked out of lunch as they worked at the company.

Sydney had been so caught up in work lately that she had completely forgotten about her ongoing issues with Jaxton.

She was determined to excel in her career and was willing to put her problems aside to achieve her goals.

However, when she saw her close Sophie and Paxton were making plans to go out to lunch without her, she couldn’t help but feel a tinge of jealousy.

She had always been close to Paxton but lately, her work obsession had caused her to distance herself from others.

As she watched them leave the office together, she couldn’t help but feel left out.

She knew that she needed to prioritize her relationships and not let work consume her life at the cost of her connections.

It was then that she realized that she needed to address the issue with Jaxton and make amends.

She understood that not everything could be solved by working hard and that building meaningful relationships required effort and time.

With a newfound perspective, Sydney decided to reach out to Jaxton but he would not take the call.

She called numerous and also even left messages for her begging for them to meet up for a talk but he wasn’t responding to her calls.

Then she sent the last message.

She dropped her phone on the desk and could only continue thinking of where Paxton might have taken Sophie.

Where they are not supposed to have taken her too as she was the one who made sure they had a contract with Sophie?

Or had Sophie and Paxton fallen in love with each other?

She kept asking herself these questions when her phone pinged to show that she had a message from someone she knew.

It was Jaxton.

He had responded to the message accepting to meet up with her too.

When they met up it was kind of a bittersweet moment because Sydney had in kind that she was going to tell him that they needed some time apart to rethink their choices and whatnot.

Same as Jaxton, he also wanted to have that time part firm her so that he could think of their relationship and if there was something he was doing wrong.

“Hey” she greeted and he embraced her.

She didn’t feel the warmth of the embrace as she used to.

It was as though he had dejected himself away from her and just wanted to be by himself coming here was just for formality’s sake.

Sydney told Jaxton that they have always had a passionate and intense relationship. They enjoyed each other’s company and always had fun together.

However, she noticed that their arguments often escalated quickly, leaving them both feeling hurt and angry.

After a particularly heated argument, the couple decided it was time for a break.

The couple came to a mutual agreement to take a break from their relationship to calm down and work on how to deal with their issues differently.

They both acknowledged that the way they handled disagreements in the past wasn’t healthy and was causing more harm than good.

They both wanted to take a step back and figure out better ways to communicate with each other.

During the break, Sydney and Jaxton were committed to spending time apart to reflect on their relationship and their individual needs.

This would give them the space they needed to untangle their emotions and gain some clarity on how to move forward. It was a time for them to regroup and recharge, and for each of them to grow.

“I guess we both are fine with our decisions now?” Jaxton asked with a curt smile and Sydney nodded not knowing how she was processing the entire scene before her.

“Okay, I would love to go see you off at home but I’ve somewhere to be so see around?” Jaxtok asked and she was shocked he had not insisted on taking her home.

“Yeah that’s fine by me” she answered but she couldn’t help but think.

What was he up to?”
