Boyfriend For Rent (They Met Again)

Been craving for chocolate for days now, and been lazy to go get it from the mall. Today, I made up my mind to go get it at the mall, no matter how lazy I am. It’s been ages since I last took chocolate, and this is not like me.

“Where are you going Nathan?” Nora’s voice came on, amidst the sound of clicking heels, descending down the stairs.

“I’m going to the mall to get something, mind coming with me?” I replied, as I picked my car keys from the center table, and turned to see her, all dressed up. Wait! Is she going out or something?

“Where are you off to?” I asked curiously, as I turned to face her fully, checking her out with my eyes, and wow, my darling cousin is one hell of a beauty, she can drive any man crazy with her perfect body shape and everything.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Well, I was heading to see Jasmine, I’m bored here, and I really wanna go out, and since you’re going to the mall now, we should go together, and do some shopping.” She smiled widely.

“Good idea, but I’m not really going for shopping girl, I just wanna go get a box of chocolate, that’s all.” I made a funny face, knowing what she’s going to say. I mean, even I will freak out, if someone tell me they live the comfort of their home, to go to the mall, for just a box of chocolate, it’s crazy and funny, and I don’t expect less from Nora.

“I won’t comment on that, so it’s all good. Let’s go together, maybe I can get one or two things too. It’s been long since I last went to the mall, and I’m bored here.” She rolled her eyes, before making her way to the exit door, after which she walked out.

We hopped in on my car once we got to the parking lot, before I drove out of the compound, and in split seconds, we were on our ways, driving to the mall, while we talked about random things, and laugh. It’s really fun, hanging out with her, she’s fun to be with.

Minutes later, I parked neatly in front of the magnificent building, and alighted with Nora, before we made our ways to the mall, and soon, we were inside, doing some shoppings. Heaven knows that I came for just chocolate, which I haven’t found yet, but Nora had already bought almost all the goods in the mall.

“Oh my God! Look at that Nathan, it’s that snacks that was advertised on TV lately, oh my I must get that, like I can’t let it go.” She squeaked excitedly, like she just won a lottery. She dragged me to the snacks section, and started picking the snacks, and throwing them in the basket.

“Oh Nora, I won’t make this mistake of bringing you with me anywhere, ever again. You’re a bunch of frustration.” I whined, as I rolled my eyes.

“You’ve bought like almost all the goods here Nora, can you take a break please?” I touched my forehead frustratingly.

“Have you gotten your chocolate yet?” She asked, not sparing me a glance, as she continued picking snacks of different brands. Oh God! Is she going to sell them or what?

“No I haven’t, I don’t think I need it again. And wait! Are you going to sell those or something?” I asked with my eyes widened in shock and disbelieve. What kind of a girl is this? She has bought like fifteen packs of snacks, and she doesn’t seem to be ok with it, what the heck!

“Nathan can you just let me be, huh? I’m buying these with my hard earned money, not yours, so can you just stop complaining? This is why I love Ivan, he’ll never complain of me, buying too much stuffs, but instead, he keeps urging me to buy more, and here you are, frustrating me.” She rolled her eyes angrily.

“That’s for you and your brother, and wait! Who told you your brother had brain?” I said, and chuckled softly. I know well, how to get on her nerves, she hates when her brother is being insulted.

“Nathan!” She called sternly, glaring hard at me.

“Alright I’m sorry.” I raised my hands in surrender.

“Whatever!” She rolled her eyes.

“I’ll go sit over there, and wait for you, join me when you’re done. Happy shopping.” I said, before walking away.

Walking pass the snack section, my eyes caught something at the top of one of the shelves, it was the same chocolate I’ve been looking for.

“Finally.” I breathed out, as I made to go get it, when a girl walked over to the shelve, and and started jumping and struggling to get the chocolate, but was too short to get to it.

I couldn’t help, but chuckled, as I crossed my hands on my chest, and enjoying the drama going on, the girl is damn funny. I know I should go help her, but damn, I love watching her struggle with that, it’s kinda funny.

After watching her for a few minutes, I finally walked over there, and took the chocolate, before walking away, with the intention of pissing her off. Not that I was not going to give it back to her, just wanna tease her. I heart short people are stubborn and rude, especially the ladies, so I wanna test if this one would be different.

“Hey you!” She huffed angrily, as she walked after me.

Ignoring her, I walked over to the cashier, and dropped the chocolate on her table, before bringing my wallet from my pocket.

“Hey are you deaf or something?” She yelled after me, as she grabbed my hand and turned me to face her.

“What’s the problem miss?” I asked, giving her a questioning look.

“Uhm… Mr, that’s mine, can you hand it over?” She said, as she flashed me a smile.

I glanced down at the chocolate in my hand, and scoffed unbelievably, before raising my gaze to look at her in disbelieve.

“What did you say?” I asked.

“You heard me Mr, I just told you that’s mine, so can you please stop making me talk much, and hand that over now, while I’m still patient?” She glared at me angrily…
