Ivan POV

This girl is such a jerk! How could she lie against me in this manner? What if I was with some important person? This is how she would’ve painted me red, huh? Holy spirit knows that I won’t spare her on this, I’m going to do worse to her. My prayer is that I get to see her soon, she’ll sure hear it from me.

After having fun to the fullest with Mae, I finally left the hotel and went back home. I parked my car at the parking lot as soon as I drove home, before going inside.

Stepping into the living room, I slumped on the couch tiredly, and buried my face in my palms. Gosh! I’m so tired.

The sound of my ringing phone, forced my gaze up, and reaching out to my phone, I slide the answer button, seeing the caller ID to be Nathan.

“Hey what’s up? I just got home, but none of you are home.” I spoke tiredly.

“I tried calling you earlier today, but you never answered your calls. Anyways, I’m off to the mall to get something, Nora said to tell you that she’s going to her friend’s house, and will be returning quite late, so you shouldn’t be worried about her.” His voice came on.

My eyes widened, as soon as he mentioned Nora’s name. What! How could he allow her out of the house? What if something bad happens to her?

“Nathan why did you allow her out of the house, huh? You know it’s dangerous out there, and…”

“Can you just stop nagging now Ivan? For heaven sake, Nora is no more a baby, she needs to go out, so just stay out of this, and focus more on your life. I gotta go.” He cut me off, and ended the call immediately.NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.

“Fuck!” I cursed angrily, as I quickly searched through my phone contact, till I got to her number, and without wasting time, I hit the dial button, and waited for her to pick the call.

“Hey Ivan…” Her voice came on.

“Finally you picked up. Where are you?” I asked impatiently, as I ruffled my hair.

“I’m at a friend’s place, don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine. Bye.” She said, and the line disconnected immediately. What the!

Standing up from the couch, I made my way to my room, and laid tiredly on the bed. I had a marathon sex with Mae back in the hotel. The gurl is such a crazy ass on bed, she doesn’t get tired, well, that’s how I want it though…

Nina POV

I stood by the roadside, and hailed a cabby, then gave him the address of where I’m going, before hopping inside the car, after which it drove off.

My name is Nina, a skinny light skinned girl, thick brown hair, pointed nose, a pair of pale blue eyes, not too short, and trust me, I’m a badass. I don’t take shit, I have a friend, who’s also like me, her name is Evelyn, and she’s back to Chicago. I’m so happy. Right now, I’m going to the mall, to get her favorite chocolate, before going to see her. I dare not to go there, without buying it for her. I’m just twenty two. Enough of the introduction now.

“We’re here ma’am.” The cabby cut through my thoughts.

Stepping out of the cab, I paid the cabby, before turning and heading to the mall. The door opened on its own, as soon as I got to the entrance door, and I walked in.

“Hello.” I smiled at the lady behind the counter.

“Hello miss, how’re you doing today?” She smiled at me politely.

“I’m fine.” I replied her, before walking over to the section, where chocolates of different brands, were arranged. My eyes roamed the box of chocolates, but I didn’t see the one I was looking for.

I spent a few minutes, eye searching the chocolate, but didn’t see it. Just where the heck did it go? Just when I was about leaving the place to go search somewhere else, when my eyes caught something at the top of the shelf, and turned out to be the chocolate, which I’ve been looking for.

“Finally.” I muttered, and reached out my hand to grab it, but my hand only stopped mid air. Gosh! I forgot that I’m not tall. What to do now?

Looking around the place, to see if I could get any help, I was met with an empty space, as there wasn’t anyone around.

I started jumping and stretching my hand to reach it, but all my efforts proved abortive. Letting out a sigh, I placed my hands on my waist, as I looked up at the chocolate. I hate being short, alot of people have made mockery of me back in school, but I never give a damn.

I was about leaving to go look for help, when a hand from nowhere, grabbed the chocolate from behind me.

“Finally, someone is here to help me. He must’ve seen me struggling with it, a d decided to come help me.” I smiled excitedly, as I turned to say thanks to my helper, but my smiles slowly dissipated into a deep frown, as I was met with an empty space.

“What the heck!” I growled angrily, as I glared at the idiot, who was walking away to God knows where, with the chocolate in his hand.

“Hey you!” I yelled, as I ran after him.

The idiot didn’t even stopped to look at me, till he got to the reception desk.

“Hey!” I yelled angrily, as I finally caught up with him, and without thinking twice, I grabbed his hand and turned him swiftly to face me, but froze on my spot, with my jaw dropped, as I behold the most beautiful face ever, staring at me questioningly.
