As he made an attempt to start the ignition of his car, his phone rang and seeing whom the caller ID was, he answered it, “hello mum.”

“Alexander, I thought you said you are bringing Lily over today? I’ve been at the airport since and didn’t see any traces of your plane,” the person speaking was Alexander’s mother. She was now living in Italy.

“Things didn’t go as planned. But in a few more weeks, I’ll bring her over,” Alexander Bell said.

“Okay, be smart, son and bring her quickly.”

“Sure mum,” Alexander answered and hung the call up, then he started the ignition of his car and drove off.

Lily was undressing in the bathroom when she heard her door open, “who is it?” She asked in a loud voice.

Since Lily hadn’t started to shower, she put on her dress back and walked out of the bathroom, “well, if you let me go, I’ll have returned to Alexander Bell’s mansion.”

Drake Bell smirked and said, “a man said he was taking you to Dubai and suddenly started heading to Italy yet you didn’t suspect that something is off?”

“Please don’t interfere. It’s not like you truly care for me,” Lily answered, “if you do care for me, you won’t want to abort my baby in the past.”

Drake Bell slammed his hand on the table angrily and said, “Lily… Is your heart really that hard? Will you really never forgive me? Fine? Go… do what you want! Just go…” Drake Bell spilled angrily and stormed out of her room.

He probably has to move on… He then picked up his phone and called Amelia, once she answered, Drake Bell commanded, “come to my house, straight to my room and spend the night with me.” Drake Bell felt empty and void. He felt like he was totally enclouded in darkness and hence needed someone to fill in the space. The only person he has an intimate relationship with was Amelia.

Amelia on the other end was shocked but was happy to the gut. As soon as his call came to an end, she began to jump merrily and dance. She even ran out of her room to tell the good news to Mila. This moment could be regarded as the best moments of her life.

At once, she got dressed in a beautiful and eye catching dress and set off for Drake Bell’s villa.

Whereas, Lily was stunned at Drake Bell’s sudden outburst. She sat down and meditated about Drake Bell’s recent actions and reactions to her. Did he really regret his actions now? Was he ready to make up for his sins? He didn’t love her when they were married but was he in love with her now? Lily thought for so long but the bigger question was if she was in love with him. That would be a big no.

The truth is that a man like Drake Bell is so charming, she had to keep her heart closed to avoid letting him slip back into her heart. Once bitten twice shy. She soon stood before the main door and then unlocked it, she unexpectedly saw Amelia, dressed provocatively.

“What are you doing here?” Amelia asked.

“Since when did this place became your house? Excuse me?” Amelia nudged her and walked in.

Lily watched as she walked elegantly up to Drake Bell’s room. Then she began to knock.

“Erm…” Lily was dumbfounded. She didn’t know exactly what to say. She didn’t even know why she went to knock on his door but Amelia inside Drake Bell’s room just makes her feel choked, as if she won’t be able to breath any moment from now.

Drake Bell was stunned to see her. Just when he was almost giving up on her, turns out she still has some ounce of soft sidedness for him. ‘It’s too early to give up on you, Lily,’ Drake Bell thought to himself as he looked at her quietly.
