Chapter 162
Chapter 162
Luca’s POV
“Oh, I did got up to a lot of things, a whole lot of things.” He paused for a moment before continuing,
and I started to acknowledge the fact that he was looking really good at the moment.
He was in a dark colored suit and it stretched out on his shoulders, making him look even broader than
I am, although I was taller than he was. His hair aaa also a little on his head, compared to my curls
which fell on my shoulders, and the sides of my face.
“I got myself a wife.” He announced with a wide grin and I stared at him with a shocked expression on
my face, it was the fact that he was the one who swore the most not to ever get married, and then here
he was, informing me about the fact that he had gotten himself a wife.
To say I was shocked would be an understatement and breathed out a laugh a few seconds after he
had spoken.
“That’s really wild man, remember when you vowed not to ever get married? You were really
passionate about that whole single lifestyle thing back then.” I said to him and watched as he aborted a
little before accepting a glass of drink from one of the waiters walking past us, and I declined the offer
to take a drink as well.
Travis let out a small snort before he started to speak, “Thinking about those days right now and all I
can say is that I was really stupid back then.”
I let out a small laugh as I agreed with him instantly, and then I started to speak after a few seconds.
“I also got married as well.”
“Oh. I know.” Travis mused out instantly, right before downing the remaining content of his drink and I
stared at him confusingly at his reply.
“You knew?” I echoed after a moment and I watched as he gave a firm nod or his head, right before he
started to speak.
“Yeah, I did. It was all over the news and internet.” Fe continued to speak after a moment and I stare at
him as his words started to sink into my head, of course he had known from the internet, because the
damn wedding had gone really viral… and not because he was checking up on me secretly or
something relating to that.
“Oh, I didn’t even think about that.” I said after a moment and I watched as he gave me a blank look.
“What do you mean you didn’t even think of that? The news was everywhere and I was honestly
surprised because I didn’t know you were on the internet that way to begin with… I didn’t know you
were on social media media.” Travis started to speak and he paused for a moment before continuing.
“And after seeing about your wedding news everywhere, I decided to look you up and I saw that you
were actually freaking popular to the point you getting a verification on over three active social media
platforms.”
I breathed out a small laugh at that, not knowing how to actually react to that. Instead of still focusing
on what to say to him, I decided to change the topic instead.
“Oh where’s your wife? Did you come with her?” I asked and I watched as he started to nod his head in
reply.
“Oh yeah, I did.” He replied before turning his head around and gesturing towards a woman whom I
hadn’t even noticed was sitting in the table a few feet away until this very moment, and I watched as
she lifted her head up from her phone as soon as Travis had called out her name. He gestured on her
to come forward and I watched as she gave me a shocked gaze before glancing back at her husband
as she pushed herself out from the chair and started to make her way towards him. She walked
towards us and the first thing I noticed about her, was the fact that she was a young person, and would
most definitely be in her early twenties at the moment.
She was thick, not that thick, but then she wasn’t also slender like Sofia, because her hips were way
more outlined compared to that of Sofia’s, as well as her bust. Her skin was like the shade of a
chocolate, and she looked really good in the dress she had on at the moment. She stopped beside
Travis and skipped her hand around his waist, staring up at him instantly.
“This is my wife and her name’s Kayla.” Travis started to speak almost immediately, as soon as he had
pulled his wife into gist side even more. I stared down at her and nodded my head at her before I
started to speak.
“Hello there, Kayla.” I watched as a smile grew on her face as soon as I spoke to her, and almost
immediately, Travis started to introduce me to his wife.
“Kayla, this is my childhood friend–” Travis had started to speak but his wife cut into his sentence
before he completed his words.
“I know him, his name is Luca.” His wife breathed out and I watched as Travis stared down at his wife
in shock.
“You know who he is?” I watched Travis ask his wife and as his wife nodded her head at him instantly.
“Uhun. On Instagram, I had no idea you guys are friends.” Kayla said to her husband before turning
towards me in the next second.
“Congratulations on your marriage, Mr Luca.” Kayla breathed out to me and I offered her a small smile
in return before starting to speak.
“Thank you.”
“I knew about you even before you got verified on Instagram and I’ve been a huge fan of you for over a
year.” His wife continued to speak and I breathed out a small laugh as soon as I noticed the small
scowl on Travis’ face as soon as his wife had finished talking.
“That’s a good thing then.” I murmured after a few seconds, my eyes fixed on Travis’ face.
“Did your wife come here with you?” Kayla started to speak, breaking the thin coat of silence that had
coveted us a few moments ago, and started to nod my head after a moment.
“Yes, she did.”
“Oh my gosh, she looked so beautiful on her wedding day.” Kayla gushed out earnestly before pulling
out of her husband’s hold before she continued to speak.
“Where is she? I want to meet her.”
I hesitated, not knowing If Sofia was going to be cool with a total stranger coming to her to come strike
up a conversation with her. And so I lifted my gaze and moved it a little to check up on Sofia, and she
honestly looked really bored to me.
“She’s over there.” I said to Kayla and then I pointed her in the direction where Sofia was currently in.
Kayla let out a little sequel as soon as her wild gaze had landed on Sofia’s table, before turning her
gaze back around to breath out a couple of words of thanks, before she started to make her way
towards where Sofia was at. I watched as her husband’s hand on her arm made her halt instantly.
“Don’t be all up on her and don’t suffocate her too much with your energy, to avoid making her feel
overwhelmed.” Travis said to Kayla and I watched as Kayla let out a small scoff as she stared up at her
husband.
“What are you trying to say? Are you trying to say that I overwhelmed people?” She demanded and I
watched as Travis let out a sigh that was enough proof that this same conversation had taken place
between them a lot before.
“No babe, I meant that, she’s like a stranger to you, like you are to her, and she might need some time
to warm up to you, before you can be able to get all over her with your whole energy.” Travis started to
explain and I allowed a small snort to slip past my lips quietly, it was very obvious that they were really
in love with each other, by how easy their conversation was flowing.
I allowed my eyes to focus on the newly wedded couple who were currently cutting their wedding cake
together, with a lot of photographers and videographers taking thousands of pictures at once. I allowed
my eyes to move towards Sofia’s table to see her completely focused on what was currently going on,
Witt her hands on her thighs beneath the lips table. I had no idea if she was currently tangling her
fingers together at the moment, which was a sign that she was nervous and worked up.
“Fine I won’t.” NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.
Kayla’a loud voice made me jerk my head back to the couple beside me and I watched as her husband
pressed a small kiss into her lips, before letting go of her and taking a step away from her, and then I
watched as Kayla started to make her way towards Sofia‘a table.
“So, what about James? Where is he? I have so much to tell you guys about. Also, have you guys
heard about this…”
