Chapter 2 

NORA. 

Hot tears rolled down my face. 

My heart was breaking. I froze on my spot, unable to breathe, my eyes not leaving Derrick who sat unbordered. 

“Why would you do this to me. Derrick? You should not have pushed me into this, you made me do what I don’t want to do.” 

“How could you?” I asked with shaky lips, my eyes unable to leave my stained night dress. 

I was losing my mind. 

I could feel the blood in my veins gushing vigorously and a strong shock held my body in captivity. 

My long black hair covered a part of my face, my eyes unable to let go of him. 

Derrick smiled. “You have to relax darling, no one is going to know.” 

My eyes flashed in anger. 

“No one?” I roared in rage. “Are you serious right now? Are you out of your fucking mind? You seduced me into making love with you, I rejected at first but you made me drink that stupid wine and get laid with you. Aren’t you sorry about what you have just done to me and the consequences that might befall me? Huh? Aren’t you?” I fired, tears rolling down my face non- -stop. 

Derrick frowned, he brushed his hair backward with his hands and got out of the bed. 

I scanned him, he was topless but wore black pants which covered the lower part of his body. 

“Why are you worried? Why blame me for something we both committed? You should have stopped me if you didn’t like it, you had every right but you didn’t” He pointed out fiercely. 

I couldn’t believe my ears and I stared at him with disbelief. 

Derrick sighed loudly. “I am sorry that I yelled at you, I shouldn’t have.” He said and walked closer to where I stood, “Look at, me baby, I am the alpha and there is no way anything can happen to you, there won’t be any consequences for this. You should trust me. He tried to touch my face but I moved away. 

“Keep your filthy hands away from me!” I screamed, “You brought this upon me Derrick, you did!” My heart was shattering as I spoke. I felt a lump in my throat and hoped that this was nothing but a nightmare. 

A nightmare I would soon wake up from. 

Derrick chuckled. “Stop this drama!” He scoffed, “Come on Nora, you are my mate and making love with you before your coronation doesn’t imply that I forced you. I just wanted to touch you early, I don’t see anything wrong in it.” He said, a grin not leaving his lips. 

He came very close, our nose almost touching. His sharp blue eyes didn’t leave me as he gazed deeply, it felt like he was penetrating deep into my soul. 

Derrick kissed me softly on my lips. I closed my eyes and bittered as more tears flowed out. 

You made me do this,” I whispered in between sobs. 

Derrick’s hands were still wrapped around my face, he shook his head, still filled with smiles.

“I had to do what I had to do, I am a man and I need the body of my mate, I couldn’t wait anymore. Do not worry, our secret is safe and no one will find out about this. I promise you.” He kissed me again. 

My head was twirling with thoughts. 

I knew he loved me and I loved him more than anything. But is love about patience? Don’t you love to persevere? I just have two weeks left to become his Luna, why didn’t he choose to wait than touch me? 

I know it sounds stupid to put the blame on him alone, I was in my right senses when he touched me but I couldn’t stop 

him. 

What will I do now? 

All these thoughts ran through my mind. 

“I need to go.” I said, not looking at him. 

“Why?” 

I let go of his grip, “I am leaving.” Saying this, I walked out of his room, careful to avoid anyone seeing me.

After what seemed like an eternity, I got washed and decided that I would speak to Derrick tonight. He needed to know what he had done to me, he needed to realize his mistake and apologize for it. 

Soon, it was sunset. 

I walked out of the building and got into his. 

“Derrick,” I called as I twisted the doorknob of his room and at once, my heart dropped. 

In front of me was Derrick, stark naked and in bed with Lara. 

They looked shocked to see me and I froze at the spot, my whole world stopped at the spot. 

“Derrick,” I muttered as hot tears blinded my eyes. 

I tried to move but I fell on the ground, my hand placed on my chest.

Derrick looked disgusted. There was an angry look on his face and I watched him get out of bed naked, pick up a short, and 

wear it. 

“How dare you walk into my room without my permission?” He roared like an angry beast. 

I sat there on the floor in great shock. 

“Are you insane? Who gave you the right to walk into my privacy? Have you lost your fucking mind?” He growled with raging enlarged eyeballs.

My lips began to tremble 

“My sister?” I muttered, “Derrick, you are cheating on me with my sister?” I asked to be sure, hoping that I was imagining things and nothing wrong was my reality. 

Lara laughed. She got out of the bed and wrapped her hands arcand Derrick’s waist.. 

I watched Derrick turn to her and they kissed passionately. 

My mind exploded in fury. 

“No!“I screamed as I got on my feet. “You two are a fucking liart Derrick, how could you do this to me? After everything I have done for you? After giving you my birthright, you decided to betray me? Why would you do this to me?” I asked tears flowing down continuously. 

My body was quivering. 

I couldn’t believe my eyes. 

Lara laughed out loud, “You are so pathetic, Nora. How do you expect such a handsome Alpha to be with an ugly duckling like you? Tell me. You even went as far as throwing yourself at him, how desperate can you be.” She snapped and fired on. “Take a goof look at yourself, you are nothing but trash, used and tampered on and now, I have your man who will be mine forever, you have lost him and your fucking pack!” 

My anger boiled and I ran towards her but Derrick was quick enough to stop me. He slapped me hard across my face and 1 staggered backward, my hand on my burning cheek as my eyes enlarged in shock. 

“Don’t you dare lay a finger on her? Don’t you ever think of trying such nonsense again! How dare you want to hit the future Luna of this pack? You will pay dearly for this Nora, so much that you will wish that you never met me.” Derrick bellowed. 

“Guards!” He suddenly called out. 

At once, three men barged into the room. 

“Seize her!” He ordered pointing at me. 

At once, the men grabbed me not caring if I was once their destined leader. 

“Let me go! Leave me alone!” I screamed as I tried to let go of their grip. Two more n held me tight. 

At that moment, I knew it was useless to struggle with them.

I knelt on the ground with my head bowed, and tears trickled down. 

I could feel the eyes of the pack on me and I couldn’t raise my head as I wished for the ground to open up and swallow me.

I froze and raised my head at him, my eyes widened in shock.
