NORA 

“What?” I spat in total disbelief, my eyebrows furrowed in a dec frown. 

I was boiling in fury, my eyes not leaving Dimitri as we both stool in our bedroom, our eyes not leaving each other. 

“What sort of disrespect is this?” I implored, not hiding my displease. 

Dimitri smiled. “It’s good News.” He pointed out and placed the latter on a table not far away from where he stood. 

I frowned. “Good news? Or a big insult on your path. How dare Derek insist that you are the one to go over to his pack after you clearly informed him that he should come into your kingdom. Who does that Dimitri? And you are here calling it a good news?” I couldn’t believe my ears as I stared at Dimitri who nonchalantly went over to the mini bar in the room. watched him pick up a wine and a glass, I was furious watching him pour himself a drink and gently took a seat on the well designed sofa not far away from the open window. 

Dimitri raised his head at me. “You worry yourself too much Nora and we both know that this isn’t what you need this period.” He raised a brow and placed the wine on a table. 

“Come, have a seat next to me.” He gestures. 

At first didn’t, I wanted to hit Derrick so hard that he would end up giving up the ghost.

Dimitri’s lips stretched the more I smiled. “Please, have a seat.” he said instead and seeing that I had no reason not to listen, I took a seat opposite him, and inhaled deeply. 

“But they disrespected you, why are you taking this so easy? Why can’t you see it from my perspective?” 

Dimitri smirked. “Nora, the main thing here is that we are finally meeting, this is a big step in getting what you want. Anger flashed through me.. 

“No! It’s not his pack! That pack belongs to me, he stole it away from me.” I let out, panting hard. 

Dimitri’s eyes narrowed. “He didn’t steal it from you Nora, you gave it to him.” 

I was surprised by his utterance. “And so what? What are you trying to point out? Whose side are you on? Mine or that betrayal? It was my pack, you know this.” I said, trying to hold the tears that lingered in my eyes. My heart was breaking and the more I thought about the pains, the more it felt like my world was about to crush into a thousand pieces. 

Dimitri stretched forth his hands on mine and stroked it gently. I raise my face at him, my body surprisely felt calm at his touch. “I made a promise to you, Nora and I will definitely fulfill it. It doesn’t matter where the meeting should take place, the most important thing is for our purpose to come to light.” He let go of my hand and sipped his drink. 

The room was silent. Something didn’t feel right at all, a whole part of me didn’t like this idea at all and I can’t stop that Derrick has a plan left in store, he and Lara are never to be trusted.

“I don’t trust him. He and my sister are very shady, I don’t know what plans they have in play.” I was dead worried, my eyes hot leaving Dimitri who smiled. 

“Let them plan, but one thing you should know is that they won’t win this.” Saying this, he got up on his feet and began to head towards the door.

One more thing,” Dinttri said and turned around at me.

I stood still in shock, a deep wave of surprise hit me hard. 

“What?” I spat, getting up on my feet. 

Dimitri appeared serious. “Yes Nora, you heard me right. And listen, I have a good reason for this. I can’t ruin reputation or take the risk of anyone getting to find out about you being pregnant for someone else. It is very risky and it’s best we come out, this will even yield more power to our games.” 

I was starstruck, rage imprisoned me. “No way! I won’t do what you are requesting me to do. You know that I didn’t want to keep this child In the first place. I could not even protect myself from that devil who stabbed me to die, do you think that I am ever going to be able to protect this child in my womb? I dont know what it means to me another because I never had one. I am clueless about this whole thing and now that I am trying to still consider the fact that I want this child to live, you want me to spill the tea out to a whole kingdom. Who the hell is going to know who the father is if you or your brother don’t spill it out? Who?” I raised my voice, this time, I couldn’t hold the tears and they rolled down my face freely. 

Dimitri looked torn. He walked towards me and placed a finger on my face, gently wiping the tears off 

I stood still watching and feeling his touch on my skin. 

“You have to do this, Nora. It doesn’t matter how you feel, I know that you are going to be a good mother no matter how hard life has been for you.” He cupped my face in his hands, his eyes grew soft as he stared at me. “I will do all that I can to protect you and that baby, I swear with my life Nora. Right now, let’s focus on this meeting and I promise you that I will 

nake sure that it goes in your favor. And as for this child, I am the father, this is what we must tell everyone because no one will dare to hurt even a strand of hair from the Lycan king’s heir 

Saying this, he let go of me and walked out of the room, shutting the door. 

Broken, I sat on the cold ground, more tears flowed non stop.
